Kavitha demands govt to release white paper on debts
The BRS leader alleged that mobilization advance was given to two agencies and Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy in the Kodangal Lift Irrigation scheme. Addressing a press conference here at her residence, Kavitha referred to Revanth Reddy as the corruption king and said that soon Telangana Jagruthi would publish a book on Revanth Reddy's corruption and distribute it in the state. She alleged that Revanth Reddy had incurred a debt of Rs 2 lakh crore in just 18 months and given bills to contractors and collected commissions. She questioned what he did with the Rs. 2 lakh crore he incurred without implementing a single new scheme, without increasing pensions, and without giving Rs 2,500 per month to women. She demanded that a white paper be released on the debts incurred. She was furious that Revanth Reddy had degraded Telangana, which was in an A grade rating by repaying loans with discipline during KCR's rule, to a default state.
Kavitha said that the Revanth Reddy government was not repaying the loans taken from the Rural Electrification Corporation (REC) for irrigation projects in the state on time. She said that the state has been brought to the default stage in the payment of installments. The letter written by REC was the proof of that. She said that she will not say a single word without evidence andwas revealing these things with full evidence.
Referring to the CM's comments that he was taking loans to repay the loans taken by KCR, Kavitha said that everything he said was a complete lie. She said that the REC letter has made it clear that KCR acted with utmost financial discipline during his time as Chief Minister. He said that the loans taken for projects and other infrastructure were regularly repaid.
Kavitha said that no matter how many projects were built during KCR's tenure, no mobilization advances were given to a single contractor. When the Congress came to power, the culture of mobilization advances started again.

Woman CRPF Official Alleges Theft At Tamil Nadu Home, Breaks Down On Camera Over Inaction
Last Updated: A CRPF jawan, in a viral video, alleged police inaction after jewellery and cash were stolen from her Tamil Nadu home in June. BJP leader Annamalai slammed CM Stalin over the same. Former Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Monday slammed Chief Minister MK Stalin after a video, widely shared on social media, showed a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan from Tamil Nadu complaining of inaction after theft at her residence. In a video posted on X, the jawan identified herself as Kalavati, and could be seen crying inconsolably, as she alleged that some jewellery at her house in Tamil Nadu's Katpadi had been stolen in June this year. 'My name is Kalavati. I work in the CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir. I'm from Narayanapuram village near Ponnai, Katpadi in Tamil Nadu," she said. 'We are four members in our family, my parents, my brother, and me. When my brother was out on the 24th at nearly 3.30 pm, somebody broke into our house and robbed all the jewels bought for my marriage," she alleged in the video. 'When my mother returned at 5.30 pm, she saw the locks broken. My father returned at nearly 6 pm and found there was not even a single jewel left in the house. Both of them helplessly cried," she said. 'My brother returned from work, saw them in distress and called the police. Nobody took action because on the 25th, they were busy with arrangements for the Chief Minister," the jawan said in the video. 'The fingerprint analyst came only at 12.30 pm the next day," she said. 'They filed an FIR only on June 28. I tried my best in all possible ways, but they are not taking up the case," she alleged, adding, 'My family is helpless, not knowing what to do." 'Some jewels, Rs 50,000 in cash, and silk sarees were stolen," she said. Taking a note of the video, Annamalai, in an X post, wrote, 'A CRPF jawan from Tamil Nadu, serving with honour at our nation's borders in J&K, is forced to take to social media on police inaction on the case of jewellery theft from her residence near Katpadi in June this year."
