Yung Miami was discussing Lizzo's weight loss on a podcast. Then things got awkward
Yung Miami found that out the hard way while appearing on the 'Club Shay Shay' podcast with Shannon Sharpe last week.
The City Girls rapper and former NFL player were discussing how women often bend to societal pressures and try to look perfect. Yung Miami used the 'Birthday Girl' singer — who recently lost about 50 pounds reportedly through diet and exercise — as an example.
'Everybody was like, 'Oh my God, she's so fat.' She look so good now. Now it's like, 'Oh my God, eww,'' the Opa-Locka native born Caresha Brownlee said. 'Like, pick a side. What do you want?'
Boom. The next thing you know Lizzo phoned in to the livestream. The mildly tense encounter was captured by The Shade Room and posted to Instagram.
'What is the eww?' asked Lizzo (real name Melissa Jefferson). 'I have to know!'
The 305 singer immediately clarified, saying that she was actually defending Lizzo and bashing her critics, not disparaging her new body.
'Before, like, your weight loss, people used to be like, Oh my God, she needs to lose weight, she's too thick,' Yung Miami began to explain, slightly stammering. 'That's what i was pertaining to.'
'Oh got you,' Lizzo responded. 'Actually, I thought you were saying I got too little.'
Sean Combs' ex continued her defense.
'It's damned if you do, damned if you don't,' YM said. 'Everybody say you look good, but then you'll have the little 5 percent that's like, 'She looked better when she was fat'....You can't make nobody happy. They always got something to say when it comes to women's bodies. Why? I don't know.'
And with that, the conversation ended.
Most commenters on the TSR post agreed that Yung Miami meant no disrespect and that Lizzo was being a little oversensitive.

Yes, the Browns' new all-brown uniforms are just as gross as you think
Despite having one of the trickiest color palettes in all of professional sports, the Cleveland Browns have almost always managed to look better than they play on the field. But in 2025 -- a season where Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel are competing for the starting quarterback role -- the franchise has opted to lean in to the groan. For the last 70-plus years, Cleveland has utilized brown, orange and white in simple, clean contrast to give the NFL one of its sharpest, most recognizable looks (2015-2020 Browns uniforms not included). The last two seasons, that's included an alternate white helmet that, while not the team's best option, still worked. This winter, however, they've opted to reflect the probable mess on the field with, uh, lots of earthen colors. That's the only logic behind a uniform reveal, sponsored by Dude Wipes (naturally), of an all-brown alternate uniform that effectively takes the balance and contrast of the team's use of white and throws it out the window. Well maybe it looks better in motion? Hmmm, nope. But if that unveiling video is accurate and my knowledge of the 1999 Kevin Smith classic film Dogma is correct, that suggests Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward and Jerry Jeudy are all Golgothans (the video in that link is NSFW, because it comes from a 1999 Kevin Smith classic). In fairness, this would explain a lot behind Garrett's general demonic presence. Anyway! These uniforms, PRESENTED BY DUDE WIPES, stink. Especially when the Browns could go out looking like this: Look at that. Zero wipes needed. Travis Kelce Says He and Taylor Swift Are ‘Having Fun' as a Couple, Not Looking for ‘Attention'
Travis Kelce loves doing life with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift — and swears they're not chasing the spotlight. On Tuesday, July 1, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, was a guest on the Bussin' With The Boys podcast — hosted by former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan — where he discussed his very public relationship with the pop star, also 35. 'We're having fun with it, man, being a couple. It gets thrown out there like we're trying to seek attention every now and then,' he admitted. 'We're just enjoying life and having fun going to hockey games, kinda introducing her to some more of the sports world.' Kelce added that he had 'fun' attending Game 4 of the NHL's Stanley Cup Final with the 14-time Grammy Award winner last month. Fans posted photos and videos on social media of the couple displaying some PDA while watching the Florida Panthers take on the Edmonton Oilers at Amerant Bank Arena in Florida.
