It was revealed earlier this year that the Morning Live pair had been growing extremely close away from screens and were in the throes of a brand new romance.

But now, according to the Mail Online, the couple have cooled things off with Gethin joining celebrity dating app Raya during his current trip Down Under in a bid to meet Aussie women.
It was first reported by the same publication in May how the pair were enjoying a flirty and tactile relationship with each other and had even spent time on a spa retreat and were acting "like a couple" after chemistry "blossomed".
But now it appears that Gethin's focus is elsewhere after updating his Raya profile to show he is in Australia where the 47-year-old has been enjoying a boys trip.
Insiders added to the Mail that Gethin is on the prowl in hopes of finding a new connection.
A source said: "Gethin is on the prowl Down Under which puts the nail in the coffin for his romance with Helen.
"He's there with pals but keen to meet other women.
"There is no way Helen would stand for that if they were together and he has far too much respect for her to even go behind her back.
"Despite having an increasingly close connection it's cooled down significantly which is gutting for fans who really wanted them to be together."
The Sun has reached out to representatives for Gethin and Helen for comment.
Helen is understood to have been single following the high-profile collapse of her marriage to Leeds Rhinos star Richie Myler.

He chose to leave Helen and their three children to marry Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew, with whom he went on to have two children.
Gethin meanwhile last romanced First Dates star CiCi Coleman in 2023.
He has also enjoyed brief dalliances with a bevy of celebrity beauties including TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh and German lingerie model, Katja Zwara.
Gethin famously dated Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins for four years from 2007 and even became engaged in February 2011 before they split ten months later.
Helen and Gethin grew close after he became a shoulder to cry on for the star as she continued to struggle with the loss of her marriage.

My blood ran cold as Sex and the City's Mr Big groped me during horror interview… what followed was even more chilling

SMILING for the camera alongside one of my TV idols, I felt a sudden hand on my chest and time stood still. I had just been groped by Sex And The City's 'Mr Big' Chris Noth - whose behaviour up to that point had been a world away from his suave TV persona - but it was what happened next that truly turned my blood cold. 6 Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth in Sex and the City: The Movie Credit: Getty 6 Five women have accused Chris Noth of sexual abuse Credit: Getty Last week, many fans were surprised when Sarah Jessica Parker wrote a lengthy farewell...

'I gave my new neighbours gifts - but what they said behind my back was awful'

'I gave my new neighbours gifts - but what they said behind my back was awful' The Reddit user shared how a gesture of goodwill towards their neighbours was met by some less than friendly comments The Reddit user said they were 'annoyed' by the 'hurtful' comments (stock image) (Image: Getty ) A Reddit user has revealed how a generous gesture spectacularly backfired after they overheard what their neighbours really thought about them behind closed doors. Writing on the popular chat forum, the user, known as Boring_Cupcake293, shared details of what happened. ‌ They started by acknowledging they are "probably taking it too much to heart", but confessed it had "annoyed" them, reports the Mirror. The user then explained how their neighbours had moved in eight months ago and "seemed a nice enough couple". Boring_Cupcake293 added: "They have a little dog which is adorable." ‌ The Reddit user revealed that several weeks earlier, their friend had lost her dog and handed over "a bunch of his things", including toys, beds and accessories. "She told me to give them to someone I know or contact a charity for her as she wasn't in any fit state to sort it out," they explained. ‌ "Most of the toys were brand new or barely used so I thought I'd kindly see if my neighbours wanted them for their dog. I put the stuff in my garage and figured I'd ask them next time I saw them. The other day I was heading to my garage to tidy it up but ended up stopping to pick up some leaves on my drive. As I was doing so my neighbours pulled in to their drive." The Reddit user then entered their garage, opened it up, and decided to approach the neighbours about whether they'd appreciate the dog toys as a present. "They seemed grateful and took a few bits from me," they said. "They headed indoors, and I carried on with what I was doing in my garage." The Reddit user was gifting the leftover toys out of kindness (stock image) ‌ However, later that day, Boring_Cupcake293 says they went into their garden and overheard the neighbours talking. "After a while (obviously they didn't realise I was out there), they started talking about the toys I gave them. "Firstly, saying it was nice of me, but then I heard them say that it was funny that I was obviously 'hanging around' my drive waiting for them to arrive and how 'sad of me' for doing so. Then they both started to laugh and making really rude comments about me 'lurking around' and that now they were going to have bets to see how may times I end up 'conveniently' bumping in to them!". The Reddit user explained to fellow users: "I should have said something over the fence to the but I was so embarrassed and angry I felt it best I walk away. I obviously wasn't hanging around for them and I don't lurk outside my own property or have any desires to bump in to them on purpose. ‌ They said overhearing the 'rude' comments 'hurt' (stock image) (Image: Getty) "In the eight months they've been there I've only seen them a fair few times. We live next door, we both go in and out, so of course we'll bump in to each other! What a ridiculous thing to even say! I genuinely thought they were nice people but now I feel uncomfortable around them." At the end of the post, the user asked: "Do I even address it with them what I heard or leave it! ? I know I'm probably being too sensitive but overhearing someone make false comments about you is hurtful!" Numerous individuals in the comments offered the Reddit user messages of comfort and encouragement, advising them to ignore the negativity. Article continues below One person responded: "Consider yourself lucky that you know what they really are." Another commented: "At least you know how they are. They are your neighbours and not your friends. You weren't expecting their negative attitude towards your kindness." A third recommended: "Leave it and let it go. Your goal is for them to understand you're not a creeper lurker. Confronting them will have the opposite effect. Just keep them at arms length. Their loss." A fourth declared: "You are a kind and good person."

Helen Flanagan reveals secrets behind 'confidence' after cosmetic surgery

EXCLUSIVE: As she approaches her upcoming 35th birthday, Helen Flanagan admits she's never felt more confident after going under the knife for a cosmetic enhancement Helen Flanagan admits she feels more confident after having her breasts surgically enhanced. The former Coronation Street actress is no stranger when it comes to showcasing her gym-honed physique on social media and posing in lingerie and swimsuits, but after having three children, Helen admits that her body has changed. ‌ In recent years, the 34-year-old who this week celebrates her birthday has spoken openly about her body, but after feeling like a "shadow of her former self," she made the decision to go under the knife, and is now feeling better than ever. ‌ However, a breast enhancement isn't the only surgery Helen has undergone in the past; it was previously claimed that the actress who found fame playing Rosie Webster on the ITV soap opera had undergone a nose job due to relentless trolling while she was in school. It comes after Helen opened up about the real reason she was selling her £1million home after claims she was broke. ‌ "After pregnancy and breastfeeding for three years, my boobs changed so much," Helen said about her boob job and transformation. She went on to add: "I think it's because I was quite big and bust before, it meant that they just sagged, I can't think of a better way to say it. This change affected my confidence, and I knew I wanted to do something about it." Helen turned to Mr Ussain, a Consultant Breast Oncoplastic and Aesthetic Surgeon at Pall Mall Cosmetic's clinic in Manchester, and had a free consultation to discuss her options. She's one of a long list of famous faces, including Kerry Katona and Real Housewives of Cheshire star, Tanya Bardsley, who have turned to Pall Mall for their expertise. ‌ She continued: "I'd heard amazing things from lots of other mum friends who have had boob jobs at Pall Mall Cosmetics. I went with Mr Hussain, he's such a lovely man. "I went for many consultations with lots of providers because I was really nervous, but ultimately I felt at ease with Mr Hussain and the team." In January of 2023, Helen underwent breast augmentation using 340cc Motiva implants, with dual plane placement, meaning they went under and over the breast muscle, to give more volume and a more natural shape. ‌ Speaking of her results, she said: "I couldn't be happier with my results, I love them. I am all for body confidence, empowering other women and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make." Helen was also up and about rapidly after her surgery. She said: "I was back on my feet before I knew it. I think it's because I opted for 50/50 under and over the muscle. I wanted supernatural results, just for them to be perk again, and that's what I got." ‌ But while some people frown over cosmetic enhancements and tweakments, the actress isn't paying any attention to people who disagree with her decision. She commented: "I am all for body confidence… and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make." It comes after Helen opened up about life as a single mum following her split from Robbie Talbot, and how she and her ex, Scott Sinclair, are co-parenting their children. "I'm concentrating on the kids, work, moving house and being with my friends," she told the Mirror. Reflecting on her life while co-parenting, she said: "But on the whole, we can actually be in the same room together. He's the father of my children; I was with him since I was 19 and I'm always going to have love for him – but it doesn't mean we want to be together. I don't have any bad feelings towards Scott, though sometimes he drives me absolutely mad."
