As Mohit Suri's romantic drama Saiyaara continues its dream run at the box office, his last directorial, Ek Villain Returns, has completed three years of release.
Featuring Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in the leads, the film was released on July 29, 2023. To mark the special occasion, Arjun took to Instagram and dropped an intriguing video of himself holding a yellow smiley mask, which was also a part of the film.

Ek Villain Returns: Plot
The film, backed by T-series and Balaji Motion Pictures, is an official sequel to the 2014 romantic thriller, Ek Villain, featuring Sidharth Malhotra, Riteish Deshmukh and Shraddha Kapoor in the leads.
Ek Villain Returns follows the intertwined stories of two men, Bhairav and Gautam, both entangled in one-sided love and driven to extremes. Bhairav, a taxi driver, is consumed by unrequited love for Rasika and seeks to eliminate those who have rejected one-sided lovers.
Gautam, a man with anger issues, is trying to win back Aarvi, who has been abducted. Their paths cross as they become embroiled in a series of murders, with a masked killer targeting Aarvi, leading to a dangerous chain of events.
The film delves into themes of obsession, revenge, and the blurred borders between hero and villain as the two men's actions and intentions are explored.
It also featured a remix version of the romantic track Galliyan from the previous part.
Arjun Kapoor's Work Front:
Coming back to Arjun, he was last seen in the romantic drama, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, co-starring Rakul Preet Singh and Bhumi Pednekar. The film was released in February this year and failed at the box office.
Up next, he will be seen in No Entry 2 alongside Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh. Helmed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, the film is expected to go on floors soon. However, the official release date of the film is yet to be announced by the makers.
