Pro-Palestinians programmed, voted against Trump: Watch Kanye West's rant

Kanye 'Ye' West is no stranger to controversy, and the American rapper seems to have waded into another one, saying that anyone who brings up Palestine was likely 'programmed' and were the same people who voted against Donald Trump. Kanye has also been facing flak on the work front, after he was late to the Shanghai show.(AP) A video of Kanye has been circulating online. HT has not independently verified the authenticity of this video. What's Kanye saying? Kanye, in the expletive-laden video, can be heard saying, 'You nig** don't know about Palestine, you don't give a f*** about it. The media made you give a f*** about it, and it's shit that you just put up on your motherf***in timeline.' This rant from Kanye comes after his many anti-Semitic posts, and glorification of Hitler on social media. On the work front Kanye has been facing flak on the work front, after he was late to the Shanghai show, with many fans demanding refunds. 'Was hard to get tix for him in Shanghai but got it. Was hyped af. Couldn't even sleep night before. But. Worst concert I've ever been to. @kanyewest u can be better,' one commented after the rapper was almost 40 minutes late after what was billed as his grand return to China after 17 years. 'Mostly lip synching. His microphone must have been up less than 20 per cent of the time,' another said, adding, 'For the encore, he disappeared for over 20 minutes at one point as tracks like Wolves just played out with him nowhere in sight. I could have just played your music at home man. Came to see u perform????' Troubles on the personal front Ye is facing troubles on the personal front as well, with an amended lawsuit from former assistant Lauren Pisciotta, accusing him of sexual assault, battery, stalking and sex trafficking. West's spokesperson, meanwhile, has denied these allegations.

‘One of us': US citizen who spied on Ukraine gets citizenship in Russia; says becoming Russian citizen was a ‘dream'

Image: X/@RT_com A US citizen who provided intelligence on Ukrainian troops to support Russia's military campaign has been granted Russian citizenship, officials announced Tuesday. Daniel Martindale spent two years in Ukraine following the start of Russia's invasion, passing along the coordinates of military sites to Russian intelligence services, as per Russia's state media. "By decree of our President Vladimir Putin, a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation was awarded to Daniel Martindale," said Denis Pushilin the head of the Russian-occupied Donetsk region in Ukraine, reported AP. Martindale received his passport at a ceremony in Moscow by the interior ministry officials, as per a video published by Pushilin and the state media. Martindale had "long since proven with his loyalty and actions that he is one of us,' said Pushilin. "He spent more than two years in the territory under enemy control. And not only did he survive -- he helped. He supported our guys, passed on important information to our special services, risked his life," he added. Martindale said that becoming a Russian citizen was a 'dream' for him and thanked Russia for 'accepting' him. "Russia is not only my home, but my family," he said in Russian. After two years of spying on Ukraine, Daniel Martindale was pulled out in what Pushilin described as "a complex evacuation operation," prompted by growing concerns in Moscow that his life would be at risk if he remained in the country. Russian state media reported that security forces brought Martindale to Russia in November 2024, where he subsequently submitted for his citizenship. "Hello, I'm Daniel Martindale, the guy that Russian soldiers risked their lives to evacuate from the village where I had lived for two years." a telegram account that claimed to be Martindale posted the same month. During that time, Martindale informed pro-Russian bloggers that he arrived in Ukraine shortly before Russia launched its offensive, in hopes of reaching the region of Donetsk. Martindale told bloggers that he reached out to Russian intelligence services on his own initiative and was instructed to travel to the city of Vuhledar and wait for Russian forces to arrive. He said he stayed in the city, posing as a missionary, until the fall of 2024, when Russian troops captured it following a prolonged battle, as reported by CBS news. Martindale was raised on farms in upstate New York and Indiana by missionary parents who later relocated to rural China. During his time there a short visit across the border into Russia's far east sparked his interest in the country, as per a Wall Street Journal report. In 2018, he moved to Vladivostok where he studied Russian and taught English but was deported from the country a year later for violating labour laws.

Trump says Ukraine 'shouldn't target Moscow' amid reports of Zelensky being asked about strikes

United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday said his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky should not target Moscow. Trump had allegedly asked Zelenskyy whether Ukraine could strike Russian capital Moscow and St Petersburg.(AP) This comes hours after a Financial Times report stated that he had asked Zelensky whether he could strike Moscow. During a phone call with the Ukrainian President on July 4, Trump had allegedly asked whether Ukraine could strike Russian capital Moscow and St Petersburg if the US provides them with long-range weapons. Zelensky replied in the affirmative to the question, Bloomberg reported quoting a person who had been briefed about the conversation. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, when asked about Trump's query, said that the US President was 'merely asking a question' and not 'encouraging further killing'. 'He's working tirelessly to stop the killing and end this war,' Leavitt said. Trump had on Monday said he would send Patriot air defence missiles to Ukraine, after his initial reluctance to send weapons to the country. However, with his recent frustration with Russian President Vladimir Putin evident, Trump called NATO secretary general Mark Rutte last week to 'ramp up support' for Ukraine. Rutte stated that Trump had said he was 'irritated' with Putin for not considering a peace deal with Ukraine. The US President has also threatened 100% tariffs on Russia if Moscow does not agree to a peace deal to end the war in 50 days. '…we're going to be doing very severe tariffs if we don't have a deal in 50 days. Tariffs at about 100 per cent,' Trump said, while adding that he was 'very unhappy' with Russia.
