And he knows how incredible Usyk, 38, is after losing a close points decision against him in 2020.
Del Boy does not use the Q-word lightly — knowing the stigma and stench it carries in boxing.
But he believes ex-IBF champion Dubois — who he sparred with as an amateur lad — can recover and fill the Brit void he, Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will leave behind.
On SunSport's Split Decision YouTube show, Chisora, 41, explained: 'For me, he quit.

'The biggest stage of your life, for undisputed, we're in the game of getting hit in the head. You get up and fight again.
'He got up and walked back to his corner, normally. His corner chucked the towel in because they knew he wanted to come out.
'He was supposed to give it one last hurrah before he gets knocked out — just go in there and chuck everything that he could.
'We're in the game of fighting and you have to go to the well when you have to. People have spent hard-earned money to watch you.

'You just go out on your shield. This is why we're having a go at him because we are gonna say what we need to say: 'You didn't go out on your shield.''
Fury, 36, sent Dubois a message reminding him of his achievements and offering him a place at his Morecambe gym any time.
Tyson Fury leaps to Daniel Dubois' defence after Oleksandr Usyk defeat
But Chisora feels tough love is the only way to get Dubois' heart as big and powerful as his biceps.
And Chisora blasted: 'That's a f***ing bulls*** message as Tyson knows to go out on his shield.
'If you're going to lose properly, you go out on your shield. We just cannot sugarcoat it.
'I've had 49 fights, have you ever seen me quit? Exactly. I just don't know how to quit. Tyson is not a quitter, AJ is not a quitter. Daniel did not get up as he did not want no more.
'They have to fix that. We're not talking badly — but it will happen again and again and again.'

It sounds brutal but Chisora is trying to be kind by being cruel.
He added: 'The first time I sparred Daniel was years ago when he was an amateur and he whooped my arse.
'I got him back again . . . and he whooped my arse again. Got him back again, he whooped my arse.
'If he trains differently, he'd whoop everybody's arse. He whooped my arse badly before he turned pro.
'Right now, he trains by himself, but when you hang out with other killers, you want to be a killer.
'He's never going to leave his dad, we don't want him to, we want him to train with other fighters, that's it.
'Dubois was the guy we were trying to hand the torch to. Fury, me and AJ are nearly gone, so he was THE guy — our guy.
'We asked him to represent us and he is that guy.'

I'm 100 per cent sure I couldn't make it as a professional golfer
The former Real Madrid and Wales star is well known for his love of golf and has cut his handicap from 'three or four' to just 0.1 since retiring from football in January 2023. That has led to suggestions that Bale – who has played on the PGA Tour at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-am where footage of him making a brilliant chip from a cart path went viral – could try and make it as a professional golfer, despite having turned 36 earlier this month. Gareth Bale (right), with Colin Montgomerie, is used to playing celebrity golf events (Mike Egerton/PA) 'I'm fully, 100 per cent sure, I can not make it professionally,' Bale told BBC Wales ahead of this week's AIG Women's Open at Royal Porthcawl. 'When you are in golf and you see professional golfers play, compared to even your best stuff, it is nowhere near. 'When I've played with those players and watched them, you really appreciate how good they actually are. Multi-sport athlete ⚽️ The cart path is no problem @GarethBale11. — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) February 2, 2023 'Never mind just playing with your friends, they are doing it under the most severe pressure, in tournament conditions, in hard weather. 'So there won't be any professional (golf) for me. 'But I love the game. I love watching it, I love growing it.'

Jamie Overton recalled for England's series decider against India at the Oval
Overton's return is the only change to the squad from Emirates Old Trafford, where India escaped with a draw on Sunday after batting for five sessions and 143 overs, despite a 311-run first-innings deficit. Having been in pole position to move into an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series, England were only able to take four wickets in India's second innings and two were in the first five balls. Ben Stokes hinted changes were likely to England's bowling attack for the fifth Test against India (Martin Rickett/PA) Captain Ben Stokes hinted 'fresh legs' in the bowling might be needed, with Chris Woakes and Brydon Carse playing all four Tests and having sent down an onerous 167 and 155 overs respectively so far. Jofra Archer has also played back-to-back Tests following a four-year absence, with Overton joining fellow seamers Gus Atkinson and Josh Tongue in pushing for a spot in England's XI. While Stokes considers himself 'very unlikely' to miss out in south London on Thursday, despite a sore left leg and right bicep tendon, the tight turnaround between matches means changes seem likely. Stokes said on Sunday: 'These recovery days are going to be pretty important and we might have to make a few decisions to get some fresh legs in. That won't be decided until we get closer to the last game.' We've made one addition to our squad for the 5th Rothesay Test, which starts at the Kia Oval on Thursday. See the squad 👇 — England Cricket (@englandcricket) July 28, 2025 Overton made his lone Test appearance in England's first series under Stokes and Brendon McCullum against New Zealand in 2022, thumping 97 and taking two wickets at Headingley in an important win. He has been on the fringes since then, with a back injury restricting his red-ball availability, although he has been a regular in England's limited-overs sides since last winter. Tongue featured in the first two Tests of the series and took 11 wickets but was expensive. Atkinson, meanwhile, has not played a first-class match since that one-off Zimbabwe Test in late May after suffering a hamstring injury and he was not risked to make a comeback in Manchester. Gus Atkinson has not featured professionally since late May (John Walton/PA) Atkinson – who has claimed 55 wickets in his first dozen Test appearances – turned out for Surrey's second XI against Somerset last week and could make a long-awaited England return on his home ground. Liam Dawson looks set to be retained as England's frontline spinner despite failing to make an impact on a flat day five pitch at the weekend, offering control but not a consistent wicket-taking threat. Dawson, who featured in a Test for the first time in eight years, had footholes to exploit left-handers Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja, who made an unbeaten hundred, but could not take advantage.
