Katie Price's major update on Harvey's future after council axes college funding
Harvey Price is going from college into "independent living," his mum Katie has revealed.
Katie, 47, last year said she was forced to withdraw her eldest son from the £350,000-a-year college because the local authority cut reportedly his funding, deeming he had "no healthcare issues". This is despite Harvey's ADHD, autism, genetic condition Prader-Willi Syndrome, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness. Katie, who came third in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2004, appealed against the decision.
Now, Harvey is going "into the real world," Jordan has confirmed. Speaking on the Katie Price Show podcast, the former model said: "Harvey is doing the countdown for his new place. He's got his leavers ceremony where they give out certificates and then it's the 'real world' Mr Harvey Price."
The mum of five, who shares Harvey with former Manchester United footballer Dwight Yorke, had previously told how her son "got bored" at the residential college and often wanted to come home.
But Harvey is now set for a change of scene, with temporary accommodation in Southampton ready for September and then something nearer his mum from October.
"I've found him a place in Southampton which is temporary. It's got five other adults in it. Then he moves to his place in October, which is Littlehampton, which will be nearer to be. He's going from college to independent living," the mother of five continued.
Harvey's Prader-Willi Syndrome is a complex condition which causes obesity and learning difficulties. He is also autistic and partially blind. Prader-Willi Syndrome is very rare, with the NHS estimating that it affects "no more than one in every 15,000 children born in England".
Twice-bankrupt Katie, who lives in Horsham, West Sussex, previously said: "Harvey is supposed to be moving in four-and-a-half weeks, they've (the college) changed management and said they won't be able to cater for Harv, because he's too difficult. So now I've got to find another placement for him... so yeah, more drama to deal with."
Later in the show, she said: "We worked months and months for that and he was told four-and-a-half weeks before that he couldn't go there, and Harvey has been doing the countdown.
"Well it's stressful because you want the right thing for your child and it is a lot of time and effort to go back and do more meetings, more forms, it is very time-consuming because you want the best for your child." Finding the right care for Harvey has been a constant issue for Katie, a TV personality, since her eldest reached adulthood.

There were two people in the car, according to TMZ, but they were not injured. Jenner is yet to comment on Hutchins' death. It's not yet known if she saw the crash unfold. Hutchins, who founded Lumasol, and Jenner lived together and had an extremely close relationship. The duo was first introduced to each other via a makeup artist. Hutchins became Jenner's manager in 2017 and she lived in the ex-Olympic gold medalist's home. This prompted rumors to swirl that the pair were dating. Hutchins, who is transgender, debunked the speculation in an interview with The New York Times. She explained how she was just filling a gap that was left by Jenner's ex-wife Kris. 'I saw nobody was managing her, and there were all these people taking massive advantage,' Hutchins said. Caitlyn Jenner reunites with 'close friend' Sophia Hutchins on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 'And I was saying: "Caitlyn, if I don't step in here and start managing you, you're going to go broke."' In April 2015, Caitlyn, formerly Bruce Jenner, came out as a transgender woman before transitioning. Kris, the mom of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney Kardashian, was married to Bruce between 1991 and 2015. Hutchins appeared in Jenner's reality TV series I am Cait that documented her transition. In 2021, Hutchins labeled reports of a romance with Jenner as fake news. 'Love the whole LGBT community but so tired of rumors that I am romantically with Caitlyn,' she said on social media. 'I am only ever with men and only ever have been. Stop the rumors! It's been years." Meanwhile, Jenner told the Sunday Times in 2023 she was very much single. 'I'm not even close to looking for a relationship,' she said. 'I'll never have a relationship in the future. I just don't see that in my life. I am not looking for that.' The pair attended events such as the White House Correspondents Dinner in April 2024. 3 Sophia with Caitlyn before the former Olympic athlete starred in I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! Skye Wheatley's secret feud with fellow Big Brother star EXPOSED as fan favourite hits back
Skye Wheatley has revealed a secret feud with a fellow former Big Brother star. The I'm A Celebrity winner, 30, rose to fame on the 2014 iteration of the reality TV juggernaut. She was due to make a return to the show in 2022, but was dumped prior to filming after making a controversial sex confession online. Speaking about the incident with Callum Hole on their Skye & Callum Nova podcast, she claimed that Big Brother star Tim Dormer was partly responsible for her unceremonious axing. 'I got hit up to go back on [Big Brother] and then basically this big online scandal thing happened… it blew up. I got heaps of hate,' she said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'You know, all my sponsors were dropping me like it was a f**ked time in my life. 'I got an email the next day from the producers, and they were like, "Hey, sorry. We've decided not to put her in the mix." I was f**king heartbroken, like, devastated.' However, Skye went on to claim that after she won the 2024 iteration of I'm A Me Out Of Here!, she heard through the grapevine that Tim had a hand in Skye being booted from the show. 'After I'm A Celeb, Ben Morris [manager] interviewed me, and he said that apparently Tim Dormer, which was another Big Brother guy who was going in the house that year... apparently he said, "if you put Skye in the house, I'm not doing it". So they obviously chose him,' she claimed. Skye added that while she had no proof, she was sure that Tim already harboured ill feelings towards her. 'I don't know if there's truth to that, but he hated me,' she said. 'I don't know if he was jealous but I just knew he did not like me.' Skye added that the reason for the apparent feud was Tim felt Skye had 'stolen the limelight' after he came out as gay on Instagram. 'I even brought it up to him one time – I said, "What's your problem with me? I'm sensing some animosity here,"' she said. 'His reasoning was I tried to take the limelight on his coming out post because I commented and said, "Congratulations I'm so proud of you for coming out." I was just trying to be nice.' Despite Skye's claims, she added that she harboured no ill will toward the 2013 Big brother winner. 'I still love him,' she said. 'He's an entertaining guy. I don't have any bad feelings toward him.' Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Tim hit back at Skye's claims, slamming the reality star as 'fake'. 'I'm tired of people using my name to try and associate some meaning to their own lives – especially when it comes to anyone in front or behind the camera of the delusional world of reality TV,' Tim said. 'That experience caused me a decade of trauma thinking anything of that world had meaning. 'She's fake as f*** and that's what it takes to survive that version of 'reality'. He continued: 'I wish her well on her recovery journey back to reality, the world is tired of being force-fed the delusions coming from idols of yesterday. That world is clearly falling and people are waking up to what really matters. I hope she can find her authentic voice once day like I have.' Skye previously claimed she was axed from Channel Seven's reboot of Big Brother back in 2022 after making a controversial sex confession. The influencer said she was set to star in Big Brother two years ago, alongside fan favourites Reggie Bird, Tim Dormer, Tully Smyth and Layla Subritzky. But she was booted from the season 14 show just weeks out from filming after posting an 'insensitive' joke on Instagram about her sex life with boyfriend Lachlan Waugh. 'I was supposed to go on for that, but a couple of weeks before flying to Sydney to do it, I answered a question on my Instagram, "Who's more dominant in the bedroom?",' she told 'And I said, "Oh, it depends … If I'm in the mood, I'm not going to take no for an answer." But he likes that. He likes when I'm like, "Babe, let's have sex." 'But everyone was like, "You make him have non-consensual sex."' Skye later received an email from producers telling her she'd been axed from the show. 'They said, "Hey, we're not going to go ahead with putting you in." They wouldn't tell me the reason but, that had to be the reason,' she added. 'They didn't want bad publicity or anything like that, which was really disappointing. It actually broke my heart.' In 2021, Skye joked during a Q&A with fans that she demands sex from Lachlan even when he isn't in the mood. When asked who was more dominant in bed, Skye responded: 'Hahahahaha me... but only when he's mad and says he doesn't want to have sex.' 'Hahahahaha ain't nobody telling me no... I won't take no for an answer if I want sexy time,' she added. The reality star's comments clearly upset some of her fans, as she returned to the platform less than 24 hours later to issue a grovelling apology. The mother of two apologised for her 'insensitive, triggering' words and promised to think twice before making similar jokes in the future.
