Three UK down — live updates on widespread outage
If you're a Three user in the UK, and your phone signal hasn't bene playing ball today, then you're not alone. After another serious outage earlier this year, users have been reporting problems with voice calls since the early hours of this morning.
According to Down Detector the problems started at 7.45 a.m. (BST), and related MVNOs like Smarty and ID Mobile are similarly affected.
Three has acknowledged the issue, promising that the issue has affected voice services and things are being done to fix the problem. Thankfully the network claims data services are unaffected.

Heading into the weekend, the Ticketmaster website and app started seeing reports of issues on the outage tracking website DownDetector with similar warnings on other tracking sites. The outage reports started picking up steam around 9 a.m. Pacific and peaked at over 1,000 reports an hour later. Steam is down — live updates on outage
Starting around 9:50 a.m. Pacific, reports of issues with Steam started to pick up on the outage tracker DownDetector with some warnings on other tracking sites. Steam is a major platform with hundreds of thousands if not millions of users. And the initial spikes have only hit around 2,000 reports. Steam is in the midst of its annual Summer Sale and could be getting hit with high traffic We're monitoring the Steam outage and will keep you posted as we learn more. ChatGPT was down — Here's what happened during the quick OpenAI outage
OpenAI seems to be down, as ChatGPT is not working for a lot of people right now. Reports began appearing on the outage tracking site Down Detector at around 9:30am BST / 1:30am PT / 4:30am ET, with a sudden spike happening shortly after. According to OpenAI's status page, this seemed to only be affecting the API level (the implementation of ChatGPT tech into other apps), but it was more widespread than that. Fortunately, a fix was implemented quickly afterwards and operations seem to have returned to normal. After receiving reports from other folks and testing ChatGPT myself, it looks as if service has been restored.
