Bella Hadid's New ‘Crème Brûlée Blonde' Hair Is This Summer's Warmest Shade - And You Can Recreate It
'Crème brûlée blonde is the 2025 hair colour trend of the summer, as seen here on Bella Hadid,' says Hannah Gayle, colourist at Hershesons Belgravia. 'It's a beautiful blend of warm toffee caramel biscuit blonde. It's the perfect balance of dark meets light; a sandy blonde root with creamy, toffee, glossy mid lengths and ends.'

She notes that the shade is perfect for people who have darker hair but want to add some lighter tones but don't want to go all the way. 'This works well also for your super blondes wanting to add more dimension and expensive feeling to their blonde hair.'
If you're keen to recreate this 'crème brûlée blonde' shade, but are currently sat with a chocolate tone not too dissimilar from Hadid's trademark brunette, be very specific about what you ask your colourist for.
'Ask for a full head of finely woven highlights, brighter towards the ends and layered with free hand lightness,' says hairdresser and forecaster Tom Smith. 'Then toned with a neutral, slightly minky, warm shade, which lifts the natural base slightly, perfectly balancing warm and cool tones. This can be maintained with very restrained use of a violet or beige toned shampoo or conditioner, depending on if your hair is prone to fading yellow or dull.'
As with any dark-to-light hair transformation, don't rush the process. A gradually bleached approach will retail your hair's integrity and strength over time.

3 Nineties Winona Ryder Looks To Steal For 2025 – From Grunge Glamour To Red-Carpet Minimalism
Winona Ryder graces the cover of ELLE UK this month. A true style icon, the actor has always mastered that elusive balance between rebellious and refined dressing, making her one of the most enduring fashion muses of the Nineties and beyond. In celebration of her timeless style, we've rounded up three of her most iconic 1990s outfits and reimagined them for 2025. From red-carpet moments to off-duty airport chic, these looks feel just as relevant today as they did then, proving that good style never goes out of fashion. At the Eyes Wide Shut premiere party in 1999, Ryder embodied late-Nineties minimalism in a sheer black slip dress, arm cuff and kitten-heeled mules. It was a look that whispered rather than shouted; a quietly provocative, effortlessly cool ensemble. For 2025, we're recreating this barely-there elegance with a sheer, bias-cut slip that nods to Ryder's original. Pair it with kitten heels – chic, sensible, and a nostalgic throwback to Nineties party style that won't kill your feet by midnight. Add a hint of glint with a sculptural cuff-style bracelet or two, paired with matching earrings. Ryder's 1992 Dracula premiere look, an iridescent blue skirt suit complete with broderie anglaise trim and an in-built corset, was a masterclass in power dressing. This is a look you could lift wholesale for 2025 – the ruffle and lace detail falls just on the right side of coquettish, especially when styled simply with just a pair of slingback heels and a simple necklace. Or, you could channel that same cool confidence with a contemporary twist, swapping corseted tailoring for a boxy jacket and matching skirt. Either way, like Ryder then (and now), you'll look smart, subversive and subtly glamorous. Tailoring has always been a key part of Ryder's style, whether on the red carpet or off-duty. This oversized blazer and cropped trouser combo, which she wore for a flight into LAX, is effortless, a little grunge and timeless. Whether you're airport-bound or running errands, this is Ryder's signature brand of nonchalant chic that turns heads without ever trying too hard. Copy her original 1990s 'fit with a menswear-inspired blazer worn over an oversized white tee (dinosaur suitcase optional), or channel Ryder's ELLE cover shoot with something a little more tailored, worn with lashings of gold jewellery. Jodie Turner-Smith's Flicked Bob Might Be the Chicest Hair Moment of the Summer
The bob—in all its many shapes, forms, and never-ending trends—is undoubtedly the most coveted haircut of summer '25. As for the latest celebrity to cosign the short, chin-length crop? Jodie Turner-Smith just debuted a sleek, flicked bob at Comic Con during the first leg of the Tron: Ares press tour. While the actor's character, Athena, has a bleached-blonde buzzcut in the sci-fi action film, Turner-Smith opted for a jet-black crop for the press tour. Turner-Smith's new flicked bob was thanks to the work of hairstylist Coree Moreno, who described it as 'a chic effortless push back, with no extensions, just a soulful silk press.' The focus was on her natural hair and using the right products to tend to her scalp. '[We put] love and intention into treating and preparing her crown,' said Moreno. Moreno says that healthy hair and versatility were at the forefront of Turner-Smith's bob. 'Jodie, myself, and the team agreed on something sleek and timeless with a bit of Tron edge,' he explains. For those after something similar, Moreno achieved the look 'by treating and fortifying the hair to prepare her natural curls.' Then, he slicked back the hair with wax and hair polish, 'to sculpt and mold the hair into shape.' Moreno employed a little-known trick called the 'invisible foundation technique,' which he describes as 'a hidden-modified half-up-half-down to keep structure' and so that the silhouette looks sleek from the front view. After the foundation was constructed and the desired shape achieved using a flat iron, Moreno finished Turner-Smith's bob with a simple flip to help elevate the look. The actor paired her flicked-out crop with a snow-white manicure courtesy of Ginger Lopez. Law Roach, stylist to Celine Dion and Zendaya, also dressed her in a two-toned white and blue Alaïa set and a matching leather jacket and skirt for the evening. It's not the first time the actor has selected a flicked bob for the red carpet. Last June, she wore a bob with baby bangs and a perkier sixties-esque flip to promote her role in Star Wars: The Acolyte. Her then-hairstylist, Ursula Stephen, was responsible for the coquettish crop. From: ELLE UK

Sofia Carson Embraces Classic Glamour in Richard Quinn Dress at ‘My Oxford Year' Premiere
Sofia Carson embraced classic glamour in a Richard Quinn black and white gown for the red carpet premiere of her Netflix film 'My Oxford Year' in Los Angeles on Thursday. Carson's dress was wholly evocative of style elements and trends reminiscent of the 1950s. The dress, from Richard Quinn's spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection, featured a strapless silhouette with a square neckline and two distinct hemlines. Beneath the black layer was a white midi dress with allover embroidered floral elements throughout. The dress featured a cinched waist for added silhouette definition. Carson also added a pair of black opera gloves to her look. Carson's hair was coiffed in a blunt bob with a side part. Several celebrities have adopted the bob hairstyle over the past few months, including Leslie Bibb, Halle Berry and Jenny Slate, among others. Her makeup included bold brows, lined eyes and a dark lip. Carson's 'My Oxford Year' premiere dress made its debut as part of London Fashion Week in September 2024. As a designer, Quinn operates with a direct line to his clients, often curating special orders and bridal. The eponymous designer's spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection was curated 'with the most meaningful moments of our lives in mind,' per Miles Socha's WWD review of the collection. 'The collection did not veer far from recent ones, riffing on familiar eveningwear archetypes — regal columns, debutante fit-and-flare ballgowns, fishtail numbers and minidresses — all frosted with dense floral embroideries, neat little satin bows and dramatic frills at the necks and wrist,' Socha wrote of the collection. Elements of old Hollywood glamour made a comeback on the red carpet. More recently, Pamela Anderson channeled timeless elegance with her custom Rodarte gown for 'The Naked Gun' premiere in London on Tuesday. In December 2024, WWD reported formalwear designers took inspiration from Old Hollywood for their respective pre-fall 2025 collections, including Markarian, Georgina Chapman and Lela Rose, among others. 'My Oxford Year' follows American Rhodes Scholar Anna, played by Carson, who falls for an ailing teach assistant, played by Corey Mylchreest, during her year at Oxford University.
