Tennis starlet Piani plans to absorb everything at Wimbledon
And with the countdown on her time in the junior circuit already begun, Piani plans to live every moment to the fullest.
'Playing at Wimbledon is completely different to every tournament,' said Piani.
'I'm grateful to be able to play. It's my last junior tournament so honestly I was hoping to give it my all and leave it out on the court and I did that.
'I could've played a little bit better but you're not going to play perfect tennis all the time. I'm just going to enjoy every moment and I was super happy that I was given the chance to play.
'I'm just trying to enjoy being on the court.
"... Trying to play those higher level tournaments and feel like I'm comfortable playing at that level." 🙌

'I've got my technical stuff that I can still work on but just being able to give it my all and not let anything get to me that's outside my control.
'It's great when you come here, no matter what point you are in a match, the crowd are always behind you.'
Piani is next in action on Tuesday, where she and Black take on Czech sisters Alena and Jana Kovackova.
'I'm super excited,' added Piani. 'Me and Brooke have played loads of times together and doubles is really fun, even more so with a home crowd. I enjoy playing it and I'm super excited for it.'

Richard Hughes' tears at Newmarket show there really is hope for all in racing this season
HOPE. That's what we all need. And for those battling the superpowers in the world of horse racing hope is everything. 1 The good news is this season there is hope emerging on many different levels. Most recently, of course, Richard Hughes banged in Saturday's Group 1 July Cup at Newmarket. That will have given Hughes hope, and many other trainers will be thinking 'it could be me next'. But it's been a Flat season where Hughes - who was in tears during an emotional interview with me moments after his biggest win - is not the only one to have hit the jackpot. Docklands banged in the Group 1 Queen Anne at Royal Ascot for Harry Eustace. That's massive for the young up-and-coming handler, and while the horse is owned by a group with plenty of cash to splash, it still gives everyone hope. Eustace, of course, doubled up in Group 1s by also banging in the Commonwealth Cup with Time for Sandals. And don't forget old Scotsman Jim Goldie, who was responsible for American Affair taking the Group 1 King Charles III Stakes, also at Royal Ascot. Don't also forget the Irish raider Cercene, who took the Coronation Stakes and a first Group 1 for both trainer Joe Murphy and jockey Gary Carroll. Why is this so important? After all sport is just about finding out who is best of the best, it's not about who is actually taking the prizes. Well it's crucial because, as I have said, everyone needs hope. Other than those I have mentioned, group 1 races in the UK so far in 2025 have gone to Ruling Court, Desert Flower, Lead Artist, Jan Brueghel, Minnie Hawk, Lambourn, Field of Gold, Ombudsman, Trawlerman, Lazzat, Delacroix and Cinderella's Dream. The owners of that lot are some of the richest people in the world in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Ireland and Qatar. Godolphin, Juddmonte, Coolmore and Wathnan Racing cough up more money than most for horses. For most people matching them is the stuff of dreams. But there is not only hope in what has happened in Group 1 races this term. Eve Johnson Houghton is also giving people hope, as is Jonny Portman, who is having a fantastic season headed by horses like Rumstar and had a terrific treble at Newbury the other day. He's trading at 20 per cent with a massive 28 victories this season. Since he started training in 1998 the most victors he has ever had in a campaign has been 33. Portman is on fire. Eve landed the Group 2 Kingdom of Bahrain July Stakes with Zavateri and also enjoyed success at Royal Ascot thanks to Havana Hurricane in the Listed Havana Hurricane. Superpowers are needed in every sport to inject cash. But for the people just below the mega players hope is so important. And this is a Flat season of hope for all. Nick Kyrgios sends request to 'sexy' Hollywood actress during live Wimbledon coverage
Nick Kyrgios sends request to 'sexy' Hollywood actress during live Wimbledon coverage Nick Kyrgios has once again declared his love for actress Anne Hathaway, with former British No.1 Dan Evans struggling to contain his laughter in the commentary box Nick Kyrgios made a cheeky request to the Oscar-winning actress (Image:) Nick Kyrgios openly declared his fondness for Anne Hathaway, leading to a hysterical reaction from fellow Wimbledon commentator Dan Evans as he made a bold invitation to the actress. During the men's singles final at SW19 on Sunday, Kyrgios was on punditry duties alongside the former British tennis ace and CoCo Vandeweghe for TNT Sport. The commentators were observing the celebrity guests in Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz's boxes when Kyrgios was asked about his personal preferences for tournament spectators. The 30-year-old pointed out various celebrity attendees at Wimbledon, including record producer and singer Seal, before revealing that he's had "a couple of NBA guys" requesting an invite to his box. However, he went on to voice a special wish, as he said: "I mean I would love to have Anne Hathaway one day. She's my celebrity crush, just thought I'd put that one in there." Content cannot be displayed without consent Evans and Vandeweghe couldn't help but laugh as Kyrgios candidly expressed his admiration for the American actress. An amused Evans added: "She might be watching!" Grinning, Kyrgios replied: "I mean Anne, US Open, come on down. She's ageing like a fine wine, isn't she?" Article continues below Kyrgios has not been shy in the past about his affection for the Academy Award-winning actress. In 2022, he revealed his attraction to the "sexy" star of 'The Devil Wears Prada' while on the Tennis Channel's Confessional Cart. He said: "I f*** with Anne Hathaway a bit. Anne Hathaway, I think she's sexy. I think, um, Catwoman. You know, she's Catwoman. If you haven't seen The Intern, you should watch The Intern. She's sexy there, too." Kyrgios may well believe that romance is still on the cards for him and Hathaway, following his split from long-term girlfriend Costeen Hatzi earlier in 2025. Addressing whether any animosity existed between them, Kyrgios said: "Things happen. I wish her nothing but the best. There have been so many incredible moments that will stay with me." Article continues below Hatzi reciprocated the sentiment, as she told The Advertiser: "We haven't spoken. I hope he finds peace and happiness within himself. I definitely went into the relationship with pure intentions."

Tyson Fury the Grand National winner? Boxing legend aiming for a knockout over jumps with £50,000 horses
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) COULD we soon be talking about Tyson Fury the legendary boxer - and Grand National-winning horse owner? That dream recently took a step closer after it was confirmed the former heavyweight king has moved into jumps racing. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Tyson Fury is moving into jumps racing with a hugely promising horse who could be destined for big things when the season kicks off proper over the winter months Credit: AFP 2 Jimmy Moffatt will be the trainer tasked with turning Fury's horses into serial winners Credit: PA:Empics Sport Big Gypsy King, a three-year-old filly owned by Fury and his manager Spencer Brown, has already had success on the track, winning on the Flat at Chelmsford in May. But now Fury is keen for success in the National Hunt game - after buying two horses for £50,000 and sending them into training with Jimmy Moffatt. Top bloodstock agent Jerry McGrath signed for former Joseph O'Brien horse Cossack Chach at the Goffs UK October Sale in Doncaster last year. Fury and Brown splashed £36,000 on the two-time winner and also bought £14,000 Sea The Clouds, who's already won at Moffatt's local track Cartmel. Bosses at the Lancashire venue - not far from Fury's Morecambe home - are busy planning for the boxer's possible arrival during one of their summer racedays. Fury - who is reportedly eyeing up a mega-fight with Anthony Joshua - has been to Cartmel races before but not with two potential runners of this quality. Speaking to the Racing Post, trainer Moffatt - who landed one of most ridiculous wins ever on The Steward at Newcastle - said: "I met Spencer at Cartmel races last August and he said he wanted to go through Cartmel this summer. "Tyson has not been to the yard yet but there was talk he was going to make an appearance at Cartmel this summer, although I see they're getting busy again now. "I saw him at the track three years ago so he's certainly been there at least once." Moffatt has high confidence Sea The Clouds - who he said was a 'steal' at the price - will love the fast summer conditions. He was beaten just a nose over 2m6f at Cartmel in May - and won at the track for his previous trainer Jamie Snowden this time last year. Coassack Chach, a five-year-old gelding, is 'more of a chasing type and hopefully we'll have a bit of fun with him'. Moffatt added: "We're giving him a couple of months off before starting him for a proper winter campaign. "He's a proper chaser – a great big horse with a big engine."
