Leaders Hull KR bounce back with win at Catalans
Hull Kingston Rovers star man Mikey Lewis inspired a comfortable win at Catalans Dragons to end the Super League leaders' two-match losing streak. The reigning Man of Steel scored two tries and made one of Jack Broadbent's to ensure the Robins opened up a four-point lead at the top of the table, following a shock home defeat for second-placed Wigan Warriors earlier on Saturday.Lewis suffered a head injury against Leeds Rhinos which forced him out of both that defeat and the following week's reverse at Leigh Leopards, but he returned to give shape and strategy to Willie Peters' side.Joe Burgess added another two tries and Catalans, who found it hard to break through a solid Rovers rearguard, could only reply with a consolation from Romain Navarrete.More to follow.

Slot unhappy with set-piece goals
Arne Slot says he was pleased with both the offensive and defensive display in Liverpool's final pre-season matches against Athletic Reds played back-to-back games against the Spanish side on Monday with an aggregate score of 7-3."I think in both games we created a lot of chances so that's very pleasing to see because we definitely didn't score every chance we had," Slot said. "That pleased me most, the ability to create the chances and even to score seven goals over two games is also good."The other games in pre-season, I think we've conceded a few chances too much. Today we hardly conceded anything at all, so that pleased me as well. But then to concede, especially in the second game, two set-piece goals, that's not what you want – especially if you play Crystal Palace [on Sunday] who are a team that are very strong on set-pieces."On his attacking options: "We've lost two quality players with Diogo [Jota] and Luis Diaz but we've added with Hugo [Ekitike] a player that's going to be a very good player for us. Rio [Ngumoha] is showing good things every time in pre-season."
