'It was going south quickly,' she explained, 'and we were like, 'I don't know, don't think … we're gonna make it through.''

'At one point, Lev, Maks and Natasha, but Lev was the one leading the charge. He came up to us and said, 'We'd like to talk to you guys,'' Candace recalled. 'Val and I sat down and Lev preached, like, a 45-minute sermon on marriage to us. Just had his Bible open on the couch and just talked about it.'

'And I'll never forget, 'cause he said, 'You know, I know I haven't been married. I'm just a young kid. And so it's probably hard to take marriage advice from someone this young [who] never experienced it before. But I don't need to be married to know what the word of God says,'' she added.
Candace said that 25-year-old Lev had 'such a calm voice that had so much wisdom behind it' when he sat his parents down.

'He looked us straight in the eye and individually asked me and then asked Val, 'Have you done everything you can? Is there one step of grace, is there just some bit of more grace you can give? Is there one more act of kindness in you that you could give to try to reconcile?'' Candace shared, adding, 'When we walked away from that and Val and I were like, 'Huh, We raised some pretty good kids.'
The former child star called Lev's advice 'the pivotal moment' in her marriage to Valeri that 'really changed' their dynamic.

'There was a lot more to it, but it's a whole different scenario when your kids sit you down to have a talk and go, 'Are you being as mature as you can be?' I'm so grateful to Lev and Maks and Natasha,' she said. 'They were so supportive of everything.'

Lev, who was on the podcast episode with his mom, explained that his decision to get involved in his parents' marriage 'came from a point of love.'
'Even when my siblings and I talked about it, it was like, man we really want more than anything for our parents to be together, but let's get to the matter of fact,' he stated. 'It's only gonna happen through Jesus. So that was all we could point them to.'

Pit Bull's Attempt to Avoid Leaving Grandma's House Is Just Too Cute
Pit Bull's Attempt to Avoid Leaving Grandma's House Is Just Too Cute originally appeared on Parade Pets. Extended family members hold a special place in our fur babies' hearts. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends are a part of our pooches' tribe — sometimes they even have favorites. Zara the Pit Bull is obviously a big fan of her Grandma and apparently puts up a fuss when her visiting time comes to an end. In the TikTok from @zarathepit, Zara was spending some time at Grandma's house and pretended not to hear the call that it was time to go home. "My dog hides every time we have to leave Nana's house," the onscreen text revealed as Zara darted throughout the house trying to go unnoticed. Zara walked down the hall, minding her own business while checking behind her to see if she was being followed. Then the covert canine attempted to hide in the kitchen, finding cover under the kitchen table. She tried avoiding eye contact but knew she was cornered. The innocent look on the precious Pittie's face seemed to be saying, "Can't we stay just a few more minutes?" Grandparents have a reputation of spoiling their grandkids with special treats, extra snuggles, and basically a "carte blanche" rule in their home. Zara's refusal to leave hints that she enjoys this type of treatment at Nana's can speculate that Zara gets a lot of affection from her Grandma. Just like with humans, dogs release oxytocin — referred to as the "love hormone" — when they interact with humans. Snuggling, petting, and even eye contact with their loved ones sets off this hormone in dogs which strengthens their bond and warm feelings of affection. Our relationship with our dogs is a two-way street. Humans also release this hormone when they're with their fur babies and reap the benefits of this loving relationship. Canines express love in a variety of ways. Greeting you with excitement, snuggling and seeking affection, nuzzling with kisses, eye contact, asking to play, following you around — these are all signs of your fur baby's love. And it's the best! Hopefully Zara got to spend a few extra minutes with her Grandma! 🐶🐾🐾 Pit Bull's Attempt to Avoid Leaving Grandma's House Is Just Too Cute first appeared on Parade Pets on Jul 8, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade Pets on Jul 8, 2025, where it first appeared.

Jennifer Aniston Reportedly Hard Launches Relationship With Ex-Husband's Lookalike
"Is dating again?" has become the number one question on fans' minds thanks to her recent outing with a handsome silver fox. The sensational actress sparked speculation about her relationship with Jim Curtis, a hypnotherapist, life coach, and love specialist. The duo enjoyed what appeared to be a romantic getaway after years of reported social media interactions. Jennifer Aniston's rumored romance with Jim Curtis has turned heads for several reasons, coming seven years after her highly publicized separation from her ex-husband, Justin Theroux. Some even see the actress' rumored new beau as a lookalike for her former flames. According to new reports, Aniston spent the Fourth of July weekend with Curtis in Spain's Mallorca. The "Friends" star appeared happy and relaxed on the trip with her rumored boyfriend, even introducing him to her friends, including Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka. Aniston and Curtis joined the celebrity couple for a yacht party, seemingly launching their status as a couple. Fans suspected the TV personality had been dropping hints about her romantic relationship with the motivational coach months before their trip to Spain. In April, Aniston revealed she had undergone hypnotic treatment to overcome her fear of flying, presumably under her hypnotherapist beau. A month later, she told fans that she was reading Curtis's book, "Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness," according to RadarOnline. Although their relationship made headlines this year, Aniston's ties to Curtis date back to 2023, as evident on his social media platform. The actress has been an active follower of the hypnotherapist's Instagram page for almost two years. Aniston frequently likes Curtis' social media content, especially posts about overcoming breakups and moving on. Fans saw their online interactions as a sign of something more, with some reportedly dubbing the love guru the "gray-haired, silver fox version" of the actress's ex-husband. Curtis has over 500k followers on Instagram, with his bio describing him as a coach whose goal is to help people heal and thrive. He shares motivational posts, quotes, and affirmations, with his last update inspiring fans to manifest the life they want for themselves. Theroux, the man some saw as Aniston's rumored beau's silver fox lookalike, has maintained a years-long friendship with his ex-wife despite their divorce. The once-famous couple first met in 2007 on the set of "Tropic Thunder." They were introduced by their mutual pal, Ben Stiller, who co-wrote the movie with Theroux. Aniston and the actor reconnected three years later, in the Fall of 2010, while shooting "Wanderlust." Although they sparked dating rumors, they did not confirm their relationship until 2011. Theroux popped the big question in August 2012, and the pair stayed engaged for nearly three years before tying the knot in a backyard ceremony in August 2015. Aniston and Theroux appeared to have a blissful married life until they shockingly announced their separation in early 2018, per PEOPLE. Early this month, The Blast reported that Aniston would face one of the most emotionally challenging roles of her career. She has been selected to play the late Debra McCurdy, the controversial mother of actress Jennette McCurdy, who passed away in 2013. The former "iCarly" actress detailed her traumatizing relationship with her mother in the memoir, "I'm Glad My Mom Died." Aniston shall cover this emotional portrayal of Debra in an upcoming Apple TV+ adaptation of the book, which strikes close to home for the entertainer. Aniston has been vocal about her complicated relationship with her late mom, Nancy Dow, with a source noting she resonated with Jennette's struggles. "This is a very poignant role for Jen to say the very least. She loved Jennette's story and is very passionate about bringing it to life," the insider shared. Besides being passionate about covering the story of children with difficult mothers, The Blast noted Aniston hoped to bring her talents to Broadway. The celebrated actress revealed her desire to perform on stage during an interview, saying: "I definitely want to do a Broadway play. That's on my bucket list, but it's finding the time and finding the right piece, the right material." Aniston's enthusiasm for starring on Broadway may stem from her prestigious acting background. She was born to actors Nancy Dow and John Aniston and raised in the entertainment business. Her acting debut was in the 1993 cult horror-comedy "Leprechaun." However, she gained international recognition as Rachel Green in the beloved sitcom "Friends." Will Jennifer Aniston address the viral speculations about her relationship with Jim Curtis?
