Range Rover SV Black Edition Breaks Cover- To Be Available In India?
Starting with the details of the Range Rover SV Black Edition, it gets a Narvik Black paint scheme. This is in sync with the other Black Editions from the brand. To set it apart from the others, the SUV gets the oval logo in black instead of the usual green. For this, the brand required special permission from the head of design at JLR. To go with the theme, all the elements, including the grille badging, lettering, tailgate ornaments, and alloy wheels, among other things, have a gloss black finish.

Step on the inside, and the black theme continues. The cabin comes loaded with black leather upholstery. This is complemented by a unique rectangular stitching pattern on the upper side. There is also a wooden veneer with a black finish, along with the use of Black Birch. The brand has also added Moonlight Chrome Finish accents. It is to be noted that this is darkened chrome. All of this is available with both the standard and the long wheelbase version, offering either a 5-seat configuration or a 4-seat configuration. The 4-seat is only available with LWB.

A new feature in the Range Rover SV is termed the "Body-and-Soul-Seat," or BASS for short, along with Sensory Floor technology. These features will now be standard across the entire Range Rover SV lineup. They provide haptic feedback through both the seats and floor to enhance the auditory experience in the vehicle, which Range Rover claims enables "occupants to physically feel the music."
The Range Rover SV Black Edition features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 606 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Additionally, this SUV will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to 13.

Range Rover Electric to skip frunk despite many EV makers marketing it as a key USP
Range Rover Electric is slated to make its global debut later in 2025. Check Offers Why put a storage compartment at a place that requires the user to lean against the dirtiest part to put stuff in? Exactly, this is the philosophy that is driving the luxury British car marque Land Rover to skip something that many carmakers market as one of the USPs in their electric vehicles. The Tata Motors-owned luxury auto OEM is working on the fully electric Range Rover, which will not have a front trunk, popularly dubbed as frunk. Unlike many automakers that offer a front trunk in their electric vehicles in place of an engine in a conventional fossil fuel car, the Range Rover EV will not feature one. In an interaction with the Australian automotive magazine CarExpert, the Range Rover Electric's chief engineer, Lynfel Owen, explained why the first Range Rover EV won't have a supplementary front cargo area. Also Read : Upcoming cars in India The automaker reportedly surveyed customers on this matter, and the consensus was that the rear luggage space was sufficient. Owen confirmed that the rear cargo space will match that of the ICE-powered SUV, with no need to raise the floor to accommodate the 117-kWh battery pack. However, consumer feedback was not the only reason behind Land Rover's decision to skip the front trunk. 'Why would I want to lean against the dirtiest part of the car to put stuff?" said Own. Removal of the front trunk for the upcoming Range Rover Electric comes as a shift in the design philosophy of the automaker. Jaguar Land Rover took a different approach with the I-Pace, which offered a small 27-litre capacity front trunk in that EV, which was discontinued late last year. The I-Pace struggled with reliability and frequently ranked near the bottom of customer satisfaction surveys. The upcoming Range Rover Electric will pack the 344 prismatic cells in a double-stacked layout, which will not allow the automaker to offer the EV in a three-row seating configuration as there won't be much space. However, the battery packing will not impact the rear storage. Speaking about the EV, Own said that it will come with go-anywhere capabilities. 'This is still a Range Rover. It is not an EV. There really isn't another EV out there doing what this car does. Not at this level of off-road ability with this type of luxury," he added. The Range Rover Electric's world premiere is scheduled for later in 2025, with deliveries expected to kick off next year. Check out Upcoming EV Cars in India. The Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack features a 4.4-litre V8 mild hybrid engine that is capable of churning out a peak power output of 635 hp, which is more than the 617 hp offered by the standard Sport SV. Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack The detailing company has brought some major changes for the Range Rover Sport Urban XRS Widetrack. The sinister avatar of the Sport SUV gets a new design package that includes carbon fibre used for mirror caps, a carbon fibre bonnet with a "power dome", redesigned front bumper, and an exposed carbon fibre grille. On the rear, it features a new spoiler, diffuser, and carbon fibre bumpers. The brand has enhanced the aggressive appeal with extended wheel arches. The detailing and exterior overhaul give the Range Rover Sport an aggressive stance. However, the heavy use of carbon fibre has given it a hefty price.
