Range Rover SV Black Edition unveiled. Range Rover has taken the wraps off the SV Black Edition, ahead of its global debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed . The company had also unveiled the blacked-out editions of the Sport SV and Defender Octa SUVs recently. Here's a look at what it offers. Range Rover SV Black Edition: What's new As the name suggests, this iteration comes in a stealthier avatar, dressed in all Narvik Gloss Black paint. As far as the highlights goes, it gets gloss black grille mesh, contrasting black-out accents, 23-inch black alloy wheels, and even a black SV roundel. To further elevate the look of the wheels, it features gloss black brake calipers. Inside, it features rich Near-Aniline Ebony leather , satin black ceramic accents, black birch veneers, and Moonlight Chrome highlights. Defender's most Towering version: India plans, electric Defender and more | TOI Auto What really sets the SV Black apart is the debut of an industry-first feature: Sensory Floor technology . It helps you feel music, literally. Available exclusively on long-wheelbase SV models, it adds haptic feedback to the floor mats, complementing the existing seat-based BASS (Body and Soul Seat) tech. Using transducers under the front and rear carpets, it syncs vibrations with the sound system and wellness modes. As a nod to sustainability, Range Rover also announced a new set of Pirelli P Zero tyres made from over 70% sustainable materials. These tyres will be offered across the Range Rover SV range from 2025. Under the bonnet, the SV Black doesn't just rely on looks. It packs a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that belts out 615 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Range Rover is unveiling black editions of its SUVs back to back without a break. The brand recently unveiled the Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition, followed by the Defender Octa Black Edition. Now, the third in line is the Range Rover SV Black Edition. It is also the third theme of its family, following the SV Serenity and SV Intrepid. With this, we can expect the black edition to come to the Indian market as the other two have been on sale in the country. Starting with the details of the Range Rover SV Black Edition, it gets a Narvik Black paint scheme. This is in sync with the other Black Editions from the brand. To set it apart from the others, the SUV gets the oval logo in black instead of the usual green. For this, the brand required special permission from the head of design at JLR. To go with the theme, all the elements, including the grille badging, lettering, tailgate ornaments, and alloy wheels, among other things, have a gloss black finish. Range Rover SV Black Edition interior Step on the inside, and the black theme continues. The cabin comes loaded with black leather upholstery. This is complemented by a unique rectangular stitching pattern on the upper side. There is also a wooden veneer with a black finish, along with the use of Black Birch. The brand has also added Moonlight Chrome Finish accents. It is to be noted that this is darkened chrome. All of this is available with both the standard and the long wheelbase version, offering either a 5-seat configuration or a 4-seat configuration. The 4-seat is only available with LWB. These features will now be standard across the entire Range Rover SV lineup. They provide haptic feedback through both the seats and floor to enhance the auditory experience in the vehicle, which Range Rover claims enables "occupants to physically feel the music." The Range Rover SV Black Edition features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 606 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Additionally, this SUV will make its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from July 10 to 13.

Aston Martin has taken the wraps off the Vantage S globally. The Aston Martin Vantage S is a more performance-focused iteration of the standard Vantage. It hosts a bunch of design and hardware upgrades above the Vantage to support the performance-focused spec. The brand has also opened the booking window for the Aston Martin Vantage S, and the deliveries are set to commence in October. Aston Martin Vantage S: Engine And Powertrain The Aston Martin Vantage S borrows its engine from the standard model. However, the Mercedes-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine now delivers 680 hp, which is 15 hp more than the Vantage. It continues to offer the same torque output of 800 Nm as the standard model. The Aston Martin Vantage S can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds and boasts a top speed of 325 kmph. Aston Martin Vantage S: Exterior Updates The Aston Martin Vantage S gets assertive new aerodynamic tweaks, including centrally mounted bonnet blades at the front of the car and the addition of a full-width decklid spoiler at the rear. It also gets 21-inch Multi Spoke Forged Alloy Wheels, available in a selection of Silver, Black, and Satin Platinum finishes, and fitted as standard. Customers can also opt for the Black Y-Spoke design, with a new Red graphic, available as an option. The brand has also made the axel mounts 10 percent softer, tuned suspension camber, and more to improve the overall performance of the car. Aston Martin Vantage S: Interior The Aston Martin Vantage S retains the 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 10.25-inch digital driver's display units. It also gets a heated sports steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara, a lightweight material chosen for its performance feel and used throughout the cabin, from headlining to the seats and center console. Aston Martin Vantage S Interior The performance seat's low hip point connects the driver more closely to the car, claimed to offer a new sightline and enhanced precision behind the wheel. The Vantage S is available with the optional S Interior Highlight Package. Beneath the perfectly placed floating center console sits the rotary dial, and it also offers an ' Inspire S' environment that comes with S Herringbone quilting, ventilated seats, and more.
