Amazon Deals of the Day: Get July 4th Ready With a New Low on the Ninja FrostVault Cooler

Amazon sells a vast array of products, with new ones arriving daily across many categories, including home essentials, tech gear and furniture. As much as the retail giant loves adding new products, Amazon also loves cutting prices. But you don't have to wait for its Prime Day event to find great deals. Deciding what offers are worth grabbing (and which aren't) is a full-time job -- our job, specifically. That's why we scope out the top deals for you.
Today, we spotted the Ninja FrostVault cooler down to a record-low price, just in time for any Fourth of July beach or camping trips. And if you're leaving your pets at home, make sure they're fed with PetSafe's electronic feeder at the lowest price of the year. Finally, keep all your devices charged with two Anker cables and blocks for just $6 each.
If you're planning on taking a roadtrip or going camping this summer, a great cooler is an absolute must. If you plan on keeping food and drinks cool for a long period of time, you'll need a cooler that can keep up. The Ninja FrostVault cooler has a handle along with wheels which makes it easy to take anywhere. The cooler is insulated and comes with a dry storage drawer so you can keep certain items nice and dry. The cooler has a 50-quart capacity which means it fits up to 80 cans without ice or 45 cans with ice. Using FrostVault technology cold transfers into FrostVault Dry Zone to keep food cool, dry and separate at food-safe temperatures for days. It normally goes for $250 but you can pick one up for $175, a record-low price.
Whenever you leave the house for more than a day, pet owners know the struggle of finding a trustworthy pet sitter to come feed your pets. An electric pet feeder can help rid this burden. The PetSafe Smart Feed electric pet feeder can be programmed for up to 12 weeks, so your pets won't go hungry. It supports app scheduling that you can plan with your vet for the best health results. It also has support for Alexa plus compatibility for Apple and Android phones for remote management. It stands just over a foot tall, so it won't take up much space either. Note that it only works with dry food. This pet feeder is normally $150 but you can score $20 off, bringing it to $130. It's not a huge discount but it's the lowest price we've seen in 2025.
With all the devices we have these days, it seems like we're always running out of chargers to keep them powered up. Each charger has a 20-watt USB-C port, enough to quickly charge the latest iPhones or Android devices. A legacy USB-A port is also included, so you can charge multiple devices simultaneously. The chargers aren't big either, so it won't take up much space on your outlet. Plus, the two USB-C cables in this set are 5 feet long. Long gone are the days of sticking closely to an outlet while your phone is charging. You can get your hands on this two-pack for $12, almost a 40% discount, which brings each set to just $6.
With so many deals on Amazon, deciding which ones are worth your money can be difficult. But CNET's combed through what the world's largest online retailer has to offer and gathered the best deals for you to check out.

Are Kroger, Aldi, Giant Eagle open on July Fourth? Are Costco, Target closed? What to know

Guess what? It's almost time for the red, white and blue holiday. The Fourth of July, or Independence Day, is this Friday, July 4. That means it's time for cookouts, bonfires, and fireworks while surrounded by friends and family. When is Independence Day? Is July Fourth a federal holiday? Will the mail come? Is the stock market open? What about Kroger, Giant Eagle and Aldi? Do you get a day off work? Will your garbage be picked up? Here's what to know. Independence Day falls on the same day every year, July 4. This year, July Fourth lands on a Friday. Independence Day is listed as one of 11 federal U.S. holidays, according to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. Most federal workers and private sector workers are entitled to paid holiday time off. The New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, and bond markets will close early the day before Independence Day and will be closed on the Fourth of July. Those markets are typically open Monday through Friday, aside from select holidays. According to U.S. News and World Report, banks and their branches will be closed on Independence Day. Bank ATMs and digital banking features will still be in service. Mail is not delivered on federal holidays, so you will not receive your regular mail or packages on Independence Day. USPS Priority Mail is the only service in operation. Other delivery services, such as FedEx and UPS, will not operate on July Fourth. However, critical deliveries will still be in service. There's a good chance you won't have trash pickupbecause of the holiday. Ohio's bigger cities won't see garbage trucks on Independence Day. Cincinnati, Columbus, Akron, and Canton will not have trash pickup and garbage service will be delayed by one day. Check your local provider to see how your garbage pickup might be affected. Aldi is open on Independence Day but with limited hours, according to the chain's website. Giant Eagle is open from 7 a.m.–9 p.m. on July Fourth, a company representative confirmed. Have last-minute groceries to grab for a holiday cookout? Most Kroger locations are expected to have regular hours, according to Parade, but contact your preferred location to check hours before shopping. Costco warehouses will be closed on Independence Day, according to the company's Club will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Plus members and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Club members on Independence Day, according to the company's website. Walmart stores will maintain regular hours on Independence Day, as confirmed by customer service via a phone call. Target stores will have regular hours on Independence Day, customer service confirmed. The next holiday that most U.S. workers will have a day off is Labor Day, which falls on Monday, September 1, 2025. Some people may also receive a day off for Columbus Day, a holiday that falls on October 13 in 2025. Remaining sale time is a huge part of our vetting process. If a deal seems like it will only be around for a short while or will only be available for the remaining stock, we'll let you know upfront, so you don't come back to the deal later only to be disappointed.

Google Stock Is a High-Growth Story With Room to Run in 2025

With a market cap of $2.17 trillion, Google's parent company, Alphabet (GOOGL), is among the world's most powerful technology firms. Over the last two decades, Alphabet has evolved from a simple search engine to a diversified giant with dominance in digital advertising, cloud computing, consumer electronics, and artificial intelligence (AI). Despite its massive size and dominance, Alphabet is still regarded as a fast-growing stock with significant upside potential. GOOGL stock is down 6.3% year to date, while the tech-led Nasdaq Composite Index ($NASX) is up 5.3%. Jeff Bezos Unloads $5.4B in Amazon Shares: Should You Buy or Sell AMZN Stock Now? Options Flow Alert: Bulls Making Their Move in GOOGL Stock Is Palantir Stock a Buy, Sell, or Hold on New Nuclear Deal? Tired of missing midday reversals? The FREE Barchart Brief newsletter keeps you in the know. Sign up now! Let's take a look at why analysts believe this tech heavyweight has plenty of room to grow and is currently a 'Strong Buy.' Alphabet was one of the few companies to venture into AI before it became a global sensation, and it has now integrated AI across its product line. These integrations aim to increase user engagement, improve ad targeting, and enable enterprise productivity tools, all of which contribute to better monetization. Alphabet's revenue model is based on several growth engines. Its flagship business is Google Search, the world's most dominant search platform. This unit alone generates more than half of Alphabet's total revenue, primarily from search ads. YouTube, Google Ads, Google AdSense, and the Google Display Network make up Google's advertising ecosystem, which generates tens of billions of dollars in revenue each year. Search experienced double-digit revenue growth during the most recent first quarter. AI Overviews are now an integral part of the Search experience. The feature now reaches 1.5 billion users per month after being rolled out in 140 countries and over 15 languages. Alphabet also owns YouTube, the world's second most popular website and a dominant player in digital video content and advertising. YouTube Music and Premium continue to drive subscription revenue, with more than 125 million paying users worldwide. Shorts, Alphabet's response to TikTok, saw a 20% increase in year-over-year (YoY) engagement, while monetization through creator partnerships and reservation-based ads doubled from the year-ago quarter. But Alphabet isn't just an ad business. The company has made significant investments in cloud computing through Google Cloud, which has emerged as the world's third-largest cloud provider, trailing only Amazon (AMZN) Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft (MSFT) Azure. Google Cloud reported $12.3 billion in Q1 revenue, a 28% year-over-year increase driven by widespread enterprise adoption of AI solutions. Profitability improved significantly, with Cloud operating income rising to $2.2 billion and margins increasing to 17.8%, up from 9.4% in the last year's comparable quarter. Alphabet's pending acquisition of Wiz, a top-tier cloud security firm, demonstrates the company's commitment to strengthening cybersecurity as multi-cloud adoption grows. Total revenue increased by 12% year-over-year to $90.2 billion, with diluted earnings per share (EPS) rising 49% to $2.81. Free cash flow for the quarter stood at $19 billion, contributing to a trailing 12-month (TTM) total of $74.9 billion. Alphabet ended the first quarter with $95.6 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities. Despite ongoing AI investments, Alphabet's priority remains shareholder value creation. During the quarter, the company repurchased $15.1 billion in shares and paid dividends totaling $2.4 billion. The company intends to invest $75 billion in capital expenditures in 2025, primarily to expand data centers and computing capacity for AI products. Nonetheless, it approved a 5% dividend increase and a new $70 billion share buyback program, showing management's faith in Alphabet's long-term earnings potential and cash generation capabilities. Other bets businesses such as Waymo (self-driving cars), Verily (life sciences), and DeepMind (AI research) contributed $450 million to total revenue but generated a $1.2 billion operating loss. Waymo's progress with partners such as Uber (UBER) (ride-hailing in Austin and Atlanta) and Moove (fleet management) supports its commercialization path, despite Alphabet's lack of commitment to a single revenue model. These are Alphabet's ambitious projects, which may not be profitable yet but reflect the company's long-term strategic vision. Investors are concerned about Alphabet's competitive position in the AI arms race, which has seen Meta Platforms (META), Microsoft, and Amazon raise the stakes. CEO Sundar Pichai emphasized that Gemini is a platform that includes consumer apps, Search, Workspace, and mobile. While Gemini's standalone app has 35 million daily active users (DAUs), Alphabet claims that its true reach lies in the 1.5 billion people who already use Gemini-powered features in Search. From Search and YouTube to Cloud and Subscriptions, AI is increasing engagement, monetization, and operational efficiency. Alphabet's vast financial resources may propel the next wave of AI growth in the coming decade. GOOGL, which trades at 18x forward earnings, remains a reasonable AI stock to buy right now. Overall, on Wall Street, GOOGL stock is a 'Strong Buy.' Of the 53 analysts covering the stock, 41 rate it a 'Strong Buy,' four say it is a 'Moderate Buy,' and eight rate it a 'Hold.' The average target price of $200.74 implies the stock can rise by 13% from current levels. Plus, its high price estimate of $250 suggests the stock has an upside potential of 40.7% over the next 12 months.
