Outrageous price of ONE scoop of ice cream at Glastonbury revealed as customers forced to fork out £5
GLASTONBURY revellers are having to fork out £5 for just a single scoop of ice cream.
One truck seen by The Sun reporters is charging festivalgoers the steep price point for a single ice cream with chocolate flake in a cone.

Sweet-toothed ravers are also being asked to cough up £5 for raspberry and strawberry Slushies and £4.50 for fruit frozen lollies.
It comes after Glasto fans slammed the "ridiculous" price of food bought from stalls on Friday.
A TikTokker known as robbie.reviews sparked debate on social media after posting a clip of himself eating some French toast he'd bought.
The sweet breakfast option with maple syrup costed £6 and came with three half slices of toast.
But fellow TikTok users were quick to point out that meant the stall was charging £2 for half a slice of toast.
"£2 for half a slice of toast, festivals are wild," one said.
Another said: "That's Glastonbury for ya...", however, another argued that "anything under £10 is ok" at the festival.
Elsewhere at the festival, food trucks have been spotted selling loaded fries for £14 and Mac and Cheese for up to £16.
Punters have also been faced with paying up to 40p extra for a pint at this year's festival.
Pints of draught cider and beer cost from £6.95 to £7.20, up from £6.75 last year.
A double shot of a spirit with a mixer is £13.
Soft drinks like Cola Cola, Lemonade and Apple juice are the same price as last year, costing £3.
The full on-site bar list was shared online, leaving some fans gobsmacked at the price hike from 2024.
Some branded the prices "absolutely disgusting" while others were keen to be more positive.
One said: "To be fair, at least at Glasto you can take your own alcohol in!"
Glastonbury has been hit with controversy this year following Kneecap leading chants of "free Palestine" during their performance yesterday.

In a lengthy statement captioned 'I said what I said', he wrote: 'As I lay in bed this morning, my phone buzzing non stop, inundated with messages of both support and hatred, l listen to my daughter typing out loud as she fills out a school survey asking for her feedback on the current state of her school dinners. 'She expressed that she would like healthier meals, more options and dishes inspired by other parts of the world. 'Listening to her voice her opinions on a matter that she cares about and affects her daily, reminds me that we may not be doomed after all.' Even though it would put an end to the horrendous suffering of the Palestinian people, it would mean them losing their hold on Gaza. Just want them home Yesterday morning, US President Donald Trump, who has said he is hopeful a peace deal could be agreed in the next week, highlighted the plight of the hostages on Truth Social, writing in bold capital letters: 'MAKE THE DEAL IN GAZA. GET THE HOSTAGES BACK!!! DJT.' Advertisement The question for the Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his cabinet remains: Save the hostages and allow Hamas to keep hold of Gaza, or try to completely defeat Hamas and risk the loss of the hostages? This is why the families of those still being held are so determined they never be forgotten. They just want them home. He was twinned with Avinatan's family as part of the Hostages And Missing Families Forum UK, and met with them last December. Advertisement Avinatan's kidnap, alongside girlfriend Noa Argamani, became front page news as they were pulled away from each other by terrorists who filmed it and put it on social media. The politician says he is disgusted that there is apparent support for Hamas at Glastonbury and a failure to remember those murdered at Nova. Early in the concert, fans were treated to 'First Cut Is The Deepest', a classic initially penned by Cat Stevens and famously covered by Rod in 1976, which he once again performed with great flair. For those watching closely, it seemed Rod gave a lovely nod to his wife Penny, who has shared his life with him for 18 years. Despite a stellar performance, the veteran artist didn't have an entirely smooth run. Before Lulu joined him on stage, he mistakenly announced her during an earlier segment. The star quickly corrected himself, saying 'oh Lulu is coming on in a bit' as Ronnie picked up his guitar and played for the massive crowd. Lulu did appear moments later to sing Hot Legs with Rod in her dazzling white suit. In another minor blunder, Rod seemed to miss his cue during the hit song Maggie May. The singer appeared to start too early as he sang the popular hit, but that didn't deter fans from joining in. The rendition sparked the biggest singalong of the set from the jam-packed crowd. Despite the minor mistakes, Rod's performance was generally well received. One social media user on X remarked: "Like him or not. Rod Stewart has still got it! ! He's a showman, great entertainer, and can work a crowd. You go Rod! ! Big shout out to his Band. #bbc #RodStewart #uk".
