WATCH: Recruiting video of latest Ohio State football commit, 4-star DT Damari Simeon
Things are starting to gain a little steam when it comes to Ohio State football recruiting. The Buckeyes have picked up several commitments over the last couple of weeks, and just got another with the verbal pledge of four-star defensive tackle Damari Simeon. Out of St. Augustine Prep in Richland, New Jersey, Simeon fills a big need on the defensive line for the 2026 class, choosing the Buckeyes over the likes of Penn State, Michigan, and Texas.
We like to not only bring you the news of commitments when it comes to Ohio State but also provide some highlight video of the newest members of a recruiting cycle to give you an idea of what to expect. When it comes to Simeon, we found highlights from his sophomore season thanks to our friends at Hudl. In it, you can see the explosiveness and strength, even for a sophomore going against older offensive linemen at times.
Take a look for yourself to see how Simeon could fit into Larry Johnson's plans once he makes his way to Columbus.
We'll continue to bring you Ohio State recruiting news as the Buckeyes look to finish out their 2026 class, so come back often and stay in the know.

Steelers countdown to kickoff — No. 70: a history of the number and who wore it best
The Steelers countdown to kickoff is here — and we're at 70 days until Pittsburgh faces off against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. In the spirit of the countdown, we're taking a look at the history of No. 70 and the player who wore it best. Current Steelers No. 70 wearer: N/A There isn't a current wearer of No. 70 on the Steelers roster — and for good reason, as the jersey was officially retired in 1964 out of respect for one of Pittsburgh's legendary defenders from the 1950s and early 1960s. Best No. 70 in Steelers history: DT Ernie Stautner Stautner is the best (and only) wearer of No. 70 in Steelers history. He was drafted with the 22nd overall pick in the second round of the 1950 NFL Draft. Stautner played for the Steelers from 1950 to 1963, appearing in 173 games — 143 of which came as starts. He was named first-team All-Pro once, second-team All-Pro four times, and made nine Pro Bowls. Arguably the most important player of the organization's first quarter-century of existence, Stautner became the first Steeler to have his jersey retired — on October 25, 1964, during halftime of a matchup against the Eagles. WATCH: Highlights of new Ohio State football defensive line commitment Cameron Brickle
Check out Junior Season Highlights by Cameron Brickle on @hudl #hudl one of #GoBucks latest 2026 commitments. The Ohio State football team received commitments from two defensive linemen in as many days over the past week, and one of those came from a Pennsylvania native transplanted to IMG Academy, Cameron Brickle. The 6-foot, two-inch, 305-pounder chose the Buckeyes over Penn State, Maryland, and Florida State. Brickle became the 19th member of the 2026 recruiting class, one that's still hanging out in the top five of the 247Sports Composite Rankings with a few more finishing touches to go. We like to follow up a verbal pledge by the good guys with film of what the commit did on the field of play during his high school days to give you an idea what Ohio State saw. Thanks to our friends at Hudl, we've got Brickle's junior season highlights below. When watching the film, you can see why Larry Johnson and gang liked him. He has agility for his size, is relentless in pursuit, and has good instincts in stopping the run game. There's still a few recruits to add to Ohio State's class, and as any news breaks, we'll bring it to you. More Related: 2026 Ohio State recruiting commitment tracker

Brown has a chiseled frame that will easily carry more weight after he enters the Nittany Lions' strength program. But even more impressive than his frame is his motor. Advertisement Brown is always ready to go and eager to plant opposing defenders in the turf. He's also remarkably consistent at these national events. Penn State has a future star on the way. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH PENN STATE FANS AT The future Ohio State Buckeye doesn't do many camps but you wouldn't know it after his performance at the Rivals Five-Star. He came very close to taking home MVP honors after some great reps during one-on-ones. Greer is highly-rated at No. 43 in the country but is still underrated. He's got a great basketball background as well. The Ohio native has future multi-year starter written all over him. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OHIO STATE FANS AT Osenda is a massive offensive tackle prospect out of Tennessee. Because he's so tall, he carries his weight very well and it doesn't look like he weighs 330 pounds. He came in with the biggest wingspan at the camp (7-foot) and had some dominant moments during the camp. His improvement has been steady and he's one to watch in the future. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH TENNESSEE FANS AT The crown jewel of the Cal recruiting class gave the program a massive boost when he committed there. Standing at 6-foot-6, 335-pounds he's a monster offensive lineman that is hard to miss. But he's pretty agile for that size and rarely got beat during camp. Cal got an absolute steal here and their future quarterbacks and running backs will be thankful. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH CAL FANS AT
