How to watch The Osbournes as beloved reality show drops on major streamer
Following the passing of Ozzy Osbourne at 76, devoted followers have been revisiting his family's MTV reality programme, The Osbournes.
Social media enthusiasts have been circulating highlight reels on TikTok, following Sharon's heart-breaking announcement of Ozzy's death.
Whilst Ozzy had some wild moments throughout his life, much of it pales in comparison to his family's reality programme.
The series broadcast from 2002 to 2005, spanning four seasons. It's regarded as one of the ground-breaking programmes in the reality television realm, with family-centred shows such as The Kardashians and At Home With the Furys emerging in subsequent years, reports the Daily Star.
All four seasons of The Osbournes are now available to stream on Prime Video.
The programme featured Ozzy, spouse Sharon and two of their offspring Jack and Kelly. Their eldest daughter Aimee declined to participate in the programme, and relocated from the family residence when filming started.
Aimee, who has avoided a life in the public eye, was obscured in family photographs featured in the programme, or excluded entirely. Years afterwards, Sharon would express remorse regarding the circumstances.
She revealed on The Talk in 2018: "It broke my heart when she moved. She felt too that she didn't want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea - it was appalling to her. And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did."
The inaugural episode's opening sequence demonstrates to viewers precisely what they'll witness – absolute mayhem. The show kicks off with daughter Kelly berating her brother, exclaiming: "Jack, stop telling people you're Ozzy Osbourne's son to get into places because you're a f****** loser!"
In another snippet, Sharon declares: "I can't sit here and say I'm the next Mother Theresa... f*** no!" Finally, Ozzy makes his appearance, bellowing at the camera: "Rock and roll!"
Following the hit of the show, Kelly embarked on a brief music career, while Sharon scored her own chat show in the US, The Sharon Osbourne Show.
In a 2009 interview on BBC Radio 2, Ozzy confessed he was "stoned during the entire filming" of the show, hence his refusal to watch it back.
The show was broadcast on MTV in the US, with swear words bleeped out. However, in the UK, on MTV and Channel 4, it aired uncensored.

'UK's poshest Greggs' is in Grade II listed building and steeped in history
Greggs is one of the UK's most beloved fast food chains, and fans of the eatery are just realising there's a particularly 'posh' branch in a 300-year-old building There's nothing quite like sinking your teeth into a Greggs pastry while you're rushing about, or grabbing one of their sandwiches or coffees from the beloved sausage roll emporium for your lunch. Devotees love it for being affordable and dependable - and you can spot its distinctive blue, white and yellow Greggs branding from miles away. But this particular branch in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, appears rather different and has been crowned "the poshest" Greggs in Britain. This extraordinary branch sits within a 17th century Grade II* listed structure and is frequently hailed as the most beautiful Greggs across the nation. The heritage building's facade features timber panelling and merges Victorian, Georgian, Tudor and 1930s architectural elements. Back in the 1700s, it launched as a grocer and tea merchant, which remained in business until the 1960s. Today, it houses Britain's beloved bakery chain. Until recently, the outlet was covered in scaffolding as part of an 18-month restoration scheme. This work is now finished: the building's front has been reconstructed whilst numerous windows have been renewed and sections of the roof have been fixed. On Reddit, the outlet was christened "the country's poshest Greggs". This week, a TikTok user posted footage of the establishment and declared: "Sorry but this is the poshest Greggs I've ever seen." Greggs responded to the clip, saying: "RIP Henry VIII you would have loved Bury St Edmunds Greggs." Someone else remarked: "That isn't a Greggs. That's a Gregorys." Another said: "It's like Greggs and Wetherspoons had a baby." Another person concurred, observing: "That ain't Greggs that's Gregory's tavern for the whimsical." "I just know people eating sausage rolls with their pinky's out," one user quipped. Another likened the place to "Greggs if it was in a fantasy world." A local resident chimed in: "I grew up in that town. Everybody called it bakers oven cause that's what it was called before Greggs took it over." "I kind of like the fact they've not changed the outside of the building too much," said one other. "Love Bury Greggs," another fan declared. "If only every Greggs looked like that," added one other. In other food news, a woman recently tried a"secret" coffee shop at Buckingham Palace but was floored by the price. Another food lover tried the "UK's most expensive sandwiches" from Harrods and shared her review. Do you have a story? Get in touch at

He posted: "Throw back 2013. Timegoes so fast, live life and enjoy the now as we spend all our lives looking to the future & forgetting to live in the current time zone. "Life is short enjoy the 1s who count and dont let anything hold you back! be the best version of yourself on the daily, All praise to god in jesus name." Fury dethroned Klitschko of the WBA, IBF and WBO world titles in an iconic 2015 upset in Germany. But he dropped all the belts just two years later amid a battle with depression and substance abuse that saw him balloon to 30 STONE. Fury returned in 2018 and drew with Deontay Wilder for the WBC title - before winning the belt in their 2020 rematch. He lost the gold in May to Oleksandr Usyk - who became the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champ. And after losing the December rematch, Fury, 36, retired a month later. Ozzy Osbourne's most outrageous moments from bat eating to meat throwing and feud with TV legend
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SINCE shooting to fame as part of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne carved out a staggering career in the entertainment industry spanning almost 60 years. But this week, he sadly passed away "surrounded by family" at his home with his family after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's. Whether he was biting the head off a bat on stage, hurling raw meat into crowds, or feuding with TV royalty. Here's a look back at the most outrageous and iconic moments in the life of the rock legend. Bat-Biting (1982) 7 This bat-biting incident became a career defining moment for Ozzy Osbourne Credit: Alamy The singer - dubbed the Prince of Darkness - has always played up to his satanic image. So when a fan hurled what he thought was a rubber bat toy at him on stage in January 1982, he put its head in his mouth and chomped. Turned out it was in fact a real bat and he later recalled: 'Immediately, something felt wrong.' There was a foul taste, and he felt the severed head twitch in his mouth. The teenage bat-thrower later insisted it was already dead, but Ozzy always maintained he felt it moving. Ozzy's Death Metal (1995) 7 Ozzy had almost killed a man by tossing a TV out a hotel window Credit: Getty Wild rocker Ozzy had almost killed a man by tossing a TV out a hotel window whilst on his Retirement Sucks! tour in 1995. He was boozing with guitarist Zakk Wylde in Prague unaware of a smoker outside when he decided to throw a TV out of his hotel room. Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne performing their version of Changes together He recalled: 'I am in The Four Seasons and I am watching the TV and I go to Zakk, 'I have never thrown a f****** TV out of the window of a hotel room. Let's f****** do it'. 'So I ripped the window open, picked it up and threw it out of the f****** window. It landed on the floor and f****** exploded. It went like a bomb. 'Little did I know that there was a guy smoking a cigarette and I shudder to think if that had hit him on the head. I would have killed him stone f****** dead.' Meat Throwing (1980's) 7 The rock legend hurled raw meat and animal parts into the crowd Credit: Getty In the Eighties, Ozzy took his fan interaction to a whole new level with a ritual as outrageous as it was unforgettable. The rock legend began hurling raw meat and animal parts into the crowd — all whilst encouraging fans to return the favour with whatever strange items they could sneak into the venue. One being the now-infamous bat incident and whilst some chalked it up to his on-stage theatrics, the truth was far more tongue-in-cheek. He revealed in his documentary The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne, the inspiration came from old slapstick films featuring custard pie fights. He said: 'It gave me this idea to throw, instead of pie, bits of meat and animal parts into the audience. 'I thought it was hilarious. (They'd throw back) sheep testicles, live snakes, dead rats, all kinds of things. Someone once threw a live frog onto onstage, it was the biggest frog I'd ever seen and it landed on its back.' TV Legend Feud (2002) 7 Not yet disgraced TV host and comedian Bill Cosby slammed the Osbourne's family show Credit: Getty Back in 2002 Ozzy and his family created a reality show big enough to rival The Kardashians. The Osbourne's documented the ups and downs of the family's day to day life but not everyone had a good opinion about he show. Not yet disgraced TV host and comedian Bill Cosby slammed the MTV series as "not entertainment". Ozzy later revealed in his autobiography that Cosby had sent a letter scolding the family's use of foul language and supposed bad influence. Wife Sharon was quick to fire back with a letter of her own, pointing out that Cosby wasn't exactly a saint — especially after news of his extramarital affair surfaced in the late nineties. She also called out the hypocrisy of him clutching at straws over swearing whilst TV was drowning in violence. The Alamo (1982) 7 The Birmingham-born rocker was arrested at the site when he decided to publically urinate Back in 1982 a very drunk Ozzy was seen dressed in one of wife Sharon's gowns during a photo shoot near the Alamo — the iconic Texas landmark where outnumbered rebels made their famed last stand against the Mexican army. The Birmingham-born rocker was arrested at the site when he decided to publically urinate. He later returned to the landmark with son Jack with Ozzy admitting he wasn't sure if he actually peed on the memorial as he was "very inebriated". But Ozzy's fears were calmed once they were met by local councilman Robert Trevino who found Ozzy's old police report. He then revealed the star was only charged with public intoxication that day - and never with public urination or public indecency. Dove De-Capitation (1981) 7 Ozzy pulled one of the most bizarre stunts in music history Credit: The Mega Agency A bat isn't the only thing The Black Sabbath Frontman bit into. Back in 1981, during a meeting with CBS Records to celebrate his new solo deal, Ozzy pulled one of the most bizarre stunts in music history. Hoping to make an impression, he arrived at the boardroom carrying two white doves. What was supposed to be a quirky gesture quickly turned into a PR nightmare when he suddenly grabbed one of the doves and bit it's head off. Spitting it onto the conference table in front of label executives and later reportedly did the same to the second dove, he admitted: 'They were all throwing up all over the place. People were freaked.' He was immediately thrown out from the building and whilst the label was appalled, the stunt only added to Ozzy's reputation as rock's most unpredictable wild man.
