WWE SummerSlam 2025 Betting Odds for Night One (Saturday)
WWE has established some clear favorites for Night One of SummerSlam, but there are a number of matches with not-so-obvious outcomes. Below are the SummerSlam Saturday betting odds from BetUS:
The X-factor here is Seth Rollins, who may or may not be legitimately injured and poised for a return at SummerSlam to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on either Punk or Gunther.
Although Gunther only recently won back the World Heavyweight Championship and probably shouldn't be losing again, Punk has taken plenty of big losses and badly needs a marquee win, too. It's possible that Rollins pulls a Naomi and cashes in to make this match a triple threat, but the most likely option is that Punk narrowly defeats Gunther, perhaps with a creative pin, and Rollins cashes in on him immediately afterward.
Roman Reigns and Jey Uso are arguably WWE's two most beloved babyfaces right now. In other words, they probably aren't losing at SummerSlam.
The most logical reason why this is a tag team match instead of two separate singles matches is so that Reed, the least pushed star here, can take the pin in MetLife Stadium, probably after a spear from 'The OTC1.'
Tiffany Stratton hasn't clicked quite as well as champion as one would have imagined, but the same is true of Jade Cargill in terms of her in-ring performances.
On one hand, Stratton isn't as over as a fan favorite as she should be. On the other hand, neither is Cargill, and as a far as actual wrestling ability, she isn't at the level of most of WWE's top singles stars in the women's division. Cargill is, however, getting a massive push after winning Queen of the Ring, signifying that she's likely the one who will end Stratton's underwhelming reign as WWE Women's Champion.
An apparent late replacement for rapper Travis Scott, country music artist Jelly Roll is clearly working very hard to ensure his pairing with Randy Orton and feud with Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul goes as well as possible.
Orton is so beloved right now and performing at such a high-level that the most likely scenario is for 'The Viper' to end this match with an RKO on Paul. A win for Orton and Jelly Roll will get WWE a lot of media attention, which is precisely why this match is happening to begin with.
Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair were reportedly set to quickly split in time for a singles match against one another at SummerSlam until Flair herself requested that they stick together.
That's actually worked out really well so far as the unlikely duo has gelled quite nicely and Flair is arguably more over as a babyface than she's ever been. With Flair and Bliss having such great chemistry so quickly, WWE needs to strike while the iron is hot and crown them as champions in New Jersey.
WWE surprisingly booked this match for SummerSlam, giving into fan demand to see Kross more prominently featured on Raw.
Thus far, the two stars are tied at one win each, and in a rubber match like this, the babyface tends to win, especially when he's beloved as someone like Sami Zayn, who appears to be in line for a potential world title push in the later stages of the year. With Kross's contract status also uncertain, a win for Zayn feels like the safest bet among Saturday's matches at WWE SummerSlam.

Did MLB hit a home run with the Speedway Classic?
Yahoo Sports senior MLB analysts Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman reflect on baseball's record-setting--and rain delayed--game between the Braves and Reds at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. Hear the full conversation on the 'Baseball Bar-B-Cast' podcast - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript You know, maybe we should throw this one in turbo mode, Jordan, because they did go fast over the weekend at the first ever. MLB Speedway Classic between the Braves and the Reds, these two teams played a game. Almost kind of two games, played a game. At the Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee, a NASCAR track, a custom built field was constructed in the infield, I believe is what it is called in in NASCAR, in the middle of the track. For the purpose of, as, as I understand it, setting the record for the most fans at a regular season game. I love this idea, like, I think that like we want baseball to continue to try and do new stuff. I think this was an unbelievably ambitious version of that, that as we saw was pretty difficult to execute rain or not. Uh, that said, I don't want this to discourage the league from continuing to try new stuff. I agree. And this was, this was a hell of a spectacle and I, I know the rain impacted, I'm sure the broadcast and how it was received, whether you were there or not, uh, but the, but the scenes were, were amazing. Bristol Motor Speedway knows how to have 90,000 people show up in the middle of nowhere and accommodate, right? That happens twice a year, I believe when they have the races there. The issues seemed to be like, you got to have enough food. That is, I, I know that maybe the rain, complicated things, having enough food feels like a base level accommodation. I would say that starting the game and playing and eating on Saturday in those conditions felt like something of a. Sham. Like that was outrageous and ridiculous. I know that they wanted to get the game in. I understand that. But if Sunday was an option, they should have just banged it earlier. This was cool. Keep doing stuff like this, MLB. It is appreciated, it is interesting, it breaks up the season. It brings the sport to places that don't usually get to see the sport. There's a novelty to it. It is interesting. I would just say. Even though you got a a C+ on this paper, does it mean you should quit writing? Close

Sheryl Lee Ralph wedding No. 2, 'Abbott' star renews vows in opulent ceremony
Sheryl Lee Ralph is reupping her wedding vows 20 years after tying the knot. The "Abbott Elementary" star, known for playing the firm-but-loving kindergarten teacher Barbara Howard on the ABC sitcom, recently hosted her own a vow renewal ceremony to mark two decades of marriage with her husband, Pennsylvania state Senator Vincent Hughes. The event, originally intended to be an intimate gathering, wound up welcoming some 250 guests at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where Ralph walked up the storied steps in a shawl with an 80-foot train, according to Vogue. "How could I walk up all of those steps without leaving a trail of something for everybody to look at," Ralph, 68, told the outlet. She climbed the steps – famous for their appearance in a workout montage from "Rocky" – and met Hughes halfway up, before ascending together to the top, where the ceremony kicked off. Ralph, a Broadway icon whose second act with "Abbott" has made her an even bigger star, made headlines earlier this year when she revealed that she and Hughes don't live together. Her work in entertainment keeps her in Los Angeles, she said at the time, and his as a state legislator keeps him in Philadelphia – so they make it work long distance. "I wasn't at a place where I was willing to give up my career, but I also didn't want to give up having a stable relationship with the kind of man that I knew would be there for me," the actress told Vogue. Bette Midler and Sheryl Lee Ralph dish on aging, their R-rated movie 'Fabulous Four' The pair married in 2005. To mark their anniversary, Ralph wanted to lean into her stage roots. "I come from the stage, and I love the drama of what you bring on the stage," she said of her fashion choices. Ralph wore a custom gown and Dior pumps. The shawl, in place of a veil, was carried by 22 ballerinas from the city's Philadanco company. Gwyneth Paltrow, 'apartners' and why some people live separately from their spouses A vow renewal represents a celebration not of new love, but of an old love evolved, Ralph told Vogue. "In marriage, we have so many things that happen in life," she said. "People live. People die. Relationships change. You change. Your partner changes. Your family, your immediate family, your extended family – there are changes in life." "Then there's just the everyday of it. How are you able to get back up again and continue being together? I love that sentiment," she added, referencing the fighting spirit behind the movie that made Philly's signature steps famous.
