‘False and upsetting': RHOM star Lisa Hochstein addresses rumor about her boyfriend

Trolls were out in force Wednesday night after 'Real Housewives of Miami' premiered (and the following day when Peacock streamed it).
The cause of the crashout is a a little complicated, naturally.
The drama started when Lisa Hochstein, who was throwing a birthday party for boyfriend Jody Glidden at their sprawling apartment, got into an argument with Larsa Pippen.
The hostess, 42, accused her costar of 'faking' her breakup with now ex Marcus Jordan for publicity. (Pippen and NBA great Michael Jordan's son dated for about a year and a half, calling it quits in March 2024.)
The 50-year-old influencer took offense, saying there was nothing 'fake' about their split, then called her the b-word. Before the situation escalated, Hochstein asked her to leave.

'Where's Jody?' someone yells.
As a distraught Pippen gets up to go to the bathroom with Kiki Barth, one of the Housewives yells, 'Where's Jody?!'
That's when the cameras pan to a closed door, where two men are speaking inside.
One says, 'The AC is so good in here.'
Under one fan account's clip of the scene, people were more interested in what went on in that room than the cat fight. Among the comments:
'Okay… AC is the new code word for coke??'
'What's up with Jody ? What was he doing with that guy and the AC?'
'Oh, I missed Miami ... crying at parties, real beef and not them doing coke in the bedroom.'
Soon enough, the term 'AC' went viral on various 'RHOM' Instagram pages. After one account called The Real Housewives Zone dedicated an entire post to the matter, Hochstein and Glidden clapped back.
'I can't believe I have to address such ridiculous rumors, but last night's episode was a gross misrepresentation of what actually happened and manipulated editing,' explained the mother of two in the comments. 'Jody and our non-cast friends were hanging out in our primary suite and lounge area, which we use as a common space with friends and family — they were not crowded in some solitary bathroom. Our friends did not want to be filmed, so they sought out privacy in our hangout spot. Any implication beyond that reality is completely false and upsetting.'
And for the record, she concluded, 'AC' stands for air conditioning, 'something essential in Miami!'
Glidden, a fellow Canadian, also wrote in:
'Sigh… I live in Miami and I'm a grown man. If I were doing that, who cares? It's probably a safe assumption for 50 percent of Miami. It just happens that I'm a fitness fanatic, that barely even drinks.'
The tech businessman, 49, went even harder, saying that he'd rather not be in the spotlight at all; hence, why he bailed to a different part of the house.
'The reality is simpler: I don't like being on camera, but I'm dating a reality star, I love her, and that's my life,' Glidden wrote, adding the living room where the ladies were shooting was '95 degrees.' 'Production already said the scene wasn't meant to imply that and that it was added just to explain why I wasn't in the room during the argument. 'Spoiler: I'm barely ever in any group scenes because this isn't my thing. I'm there to support Lisa, not get pulled into chaos.'

Lorde's new album, " Virgin," is out today and the singer is opening up about the heartfelt meaning behind the project. The "What Was That" singer shared an Instagram post on Friday and said she feels "simply crazy," explaining how the new album came to life. "For a long time an album is just a handful of word docs and Logic sessions, a couple whiteboards, a raw image from a medical scanner in an undisclosed country lol," she began. "I tried to love Virgin right the way through these stages at the same time as I was learning to love myself in my many stages of change, growth, brokenness and wholeness." She continued, "I'm still in shock and awe that so many of my heroes worked on Virgin — it has changed me collaborating with people this good." She ended her post by saying, "This album broke me apart and forged a new creature out of me. Cultural celebration brings hundreds to Earl Haig Park
Several hundred community members attended Gihekdagye-BRISC Friendship Centre's National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Earl Haig Family Fun Park on Saturday, June 21, 2025. The event was held in partnership with Brantford Native Housing, Woodland Cultural Centre, Métis Nation of Ontario, Niwasa Kendaaswin Teg, Child and Family Services of Grand Erie, Aboriginal Health Centre, Brantford Public Library and the City of Brantford. During the eight-hour event, families of all ages came together to beat the heat and cool down in the park's pool, lazy river or splash pad. In between jumping from one source of water to the next, many took the opportunity to grab a bite to eat, sit down for a picnic or play a round of mini golf. Out in the parking lot, several service organization booths had the chance to interact with visitors, hand out program information and free swag, or and various craft activities. While exploring the area, attendees also had the opportunity to support vendors like Tanya's Dream Catchers, have colourful tinsel woven into their hair, or run around on one of the inflatable interactive play systems. The event also featured several speeches, as well as dances, both Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe, from First Nations dancers like Eddy Thomas and Daniel Secord of Springcreek Dancers. Michael Doxtator, a member of the board of directors for Gihekdagye-Brisc Friendship Centre and a First Nations historian, said the day marks a significant moment in history. 'Brantford is the centre of Canadian culture. It's where it all started back in the 1860s, and it needs to turn around and actually become the cultural mecca of the whole country again with creativity, arts, and theatre, all those practices, as well as building a local economy based on creative industries,' he said. 'When we talk about Brantford as being the centre of Canadian culture, that begins with what the idea of what happened here, which actually, is one of the reasons why there is a Canada today; it's because of the events like the adoption of Canada in the Longhouse in 1869, the formulation of Canada Day on June 21, 1880, which later became Governor General Roméo LeBlanc's cue to make June 21 'National Aboriginal Day' back in 1996.' Doxtator said the event was an opportunity for the community to celebrate and recognize the Indigenous people and their ways of being, especially given the city's proximity to Six Nations of the Grand River and the large urban Indigenous population within Brantford itself. 'Today is really a celebration where we get to welcome our cousins from the Canadian Rafter to come and celebrate Indigenous families,' he said. 'We have people having fun and frolicking around the grounds and watching some cultural activities taking place in the park, and we have the the service organizations out in the parking lot, with all their displays and their tables that offer information about the services that they represent, and it's just been a great turnout.'
