Jackie 'O' Henderson forces her daughter Kitty, 14, to go back to school just hours after landing from their 24-hour overseas flight

Daily Mail27-04-2025
Jackie 'O' Henderson jetted back into Sydney early on Monday morning after enjoying a lavish Easter escape with her daughter Kitty in Italy.
And just moments after landing in Australia, the radio star revealed her 14-year-old daughter, who she shares with her ex Lee Henderson, was heading straight back to school.
The 50-year-old called into her KIIS FM radio show around 7am as she made her way from the airport to the studio after her flight was delayed by one day.
She confirmed she was heading straight to work and Kitty was going to school.
'If she is really struggling she can have the day off but I prefer it if she just pushes through,' Jackie O told her co-host Kyle Sandilands.
She also explained that Kitty 'loves' school, does really well and 'gives it her all'.
Jackie eventually arrived to the studio before 7.30am while her daughter made her way to school.
The pair had enjoyed strict mother-daughter time as they travelled for the vacation, which was taken for the Easter and Anzac Day break.
They stayed at the postcard-perfect five-star Passalacqua hotel in Bellagio, Lake Como.
They also visited the village of Moltrasio on Lake Como at Passalacqua, which was voted the world's best hotel in 2023 and 2024.
The structure was rebuilt in 1787 for Count Andrea Lucini-Passalacqua from an original property whose previous owners included Pope Innocent XI and composer Vincenzo Bellini.
Last year, Jackie was called out for taking her daughter Kitty out of school to attend Australian Fashion Week.
The radio host left her KIIS FM show early back in May to head off to her good pal Pip Edwards' P.E Nation show with Kitty.
The mother-daughter duo already attended the first day of AFW at Sydney's Carriageworks for Carla Zampatti's opening night runway show.

As Jackie left the radio studio early for the second event, her co-host Kyle called her out.
He pointed out they frequently promote a government scheme urging parents not to take their children out of school as he commented on Kitty's absence.
The radio shock jock said: 'Why isn't she at school? Aren't we reading ads saying don't take your kids out of school? There's an ad here saying keep your kids at school, we're both reading it!'
Kitty then briefly appeared on the radio to say hello to listeners, while Jackie insisted that attending AFW was great experience for Kitty, who wants to work in fashion.
'Listen, it's great experience for her because she loves fashion and wants to get into that field, don't you?' Jackie shared.

'Japan's Baba Vanga's' terrifying prediction comes true after 'disaster' warning

Ryo Tatsuki, who has earned a reputation as 'Japan's Baba Vanga', has apparently seen one of her most chilling predictions come true today, while tourists have been left too spooked to book flights A psychic hailed as 'Japan's Baba Vanga' has seen another of her predictions come true - and believers have been left scared enough to change their travel plans. Manga comic book artist Ryo Tatsuki has drawn comparisons with the famed Bulgarian mystic on account of her eerily prescient premonitions, detailed in her 1999 book, The Future as I Saw. This creepy tome details a number of Ryo's dreams, some of which have purportedly come to pass. It garnered particular interest after the devastating 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, which Ryo appeared to anticipate, with her prior warning of a major natural disaster set to unfold in March 2011. Naturally spooked, followers of Ryo's work have also been fearful of another date which is fast approaching - July 5, 2025. And there are those who believe her chilling vision has already come true, partly at least. Foretelling a calamitous disaster in an updated version of her book, published four years ago, Ryo wrote: "The ocean floor between Japan and the Philippines will crack. Huge waves will rise in all directions. Tsunamis will devastate the Pacific Rim countries. "A tsunami three times higher than that of the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 2011 will strike the southwest of the country." It has been noted that part of Ryo's prediction has already come true, two days early, with a 5.5-magnitude earthquake rocking Japan today. As reported by the AFP News Agency, authorities have urged 89 residents of the small southern island of Akuseki to evacuate "to a school playground" after a quake powerful enough to make it "difficult to remain standing". Thankfully, Japan's Meteorological Agency has advised that a tsunami warning has not been put in place. Ayataka Ebita, director of the earthquake and tsunami observation division of the agency, told reporters: 'In areas where the tremors were strong, there is an increased risk of collapsed houses and landslides. Please be aware of earthquakes of similar magnitude for the foreseeable future." Although disruptive, today's incident is nowhere near in the same league as the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, which resulted in thousands of deaths and widespread destruction. Whether it comes to pass or not, Ryo's premonition has had real-world knock-on effects for the tourism sector. CN Yuen, managing director of Hong Kong-based travel agency WWPKG, informed CNN that bookings to Japan had halved over the Easter holidays, with further dips expected over the coming two months. It's believed anxious travellers, all too aware of Ryo's frightening reputation for accuracy, may have been spooked by this particular prediction and thought twice about any trips to Japan. Meanwhile, Eric Zhu, Bloomberg Intelligence's analyst for aviation and defence, revealed: "The quake speculations are definitely having a negative impact on Japan tourism, and it will slow the boom temporarily. Travellers are taking a risk-averse approach given the plethora of other short-haul options in the region.' With this in mind, however, Ryo has previously cautioned people to remember that she is "not a prophet", reminding them to put their faith in experts, not just dreams.

Cruz Beckham's girlfriend Jackie reveals huge spine scar in slinky dress after life-changing scoliosis surgery

Jackie and Cruz have been going from strength to strength and they have the approval of his family CRUZ Beckham's girlfriend Jackie Apostel has revealed her huge spine scar as she posed in a slinky dress after having life-changing scoliosis surgery. She shared a slew of pictures which showed her in hospital having the life-changing operation. In one of the pictures she is wearing a gold slinky dress, and shows fans what her scar looks like now, a year on from surgery. Writing next to the pics, Jackie bravely said: "1 year ago today I had my scoliosis surgery so we're celebrating with a big dress and an AI painting sitting here reflecting a little bit and weirdly I went into this day last year with zero fear. "I fully pranked my mind into thinking it was no big deal. The 2 weeks after that were absolute hell but I think what really kept me going was having something to go back to. "I was determined to be back in the studio no more than 1 month to the day post op. 25 days later we were back." Continuing she said: "I would have never ever made it through those 2 weeks if I wasn't surrounded by so much support and love. people go through far worse than this every day and in times where you're physically and mentally weak you really realize what a crazy difference conversation and comfort can have on you. "Having someone check on you all the time, help you, love you. A year later, most days I forget I even did it." She then went on to talk about her recovery, and thanked her love ones for their support. Jackie ended the lengthy post with: "From whatever it is you're going through. Watch sweet moment Cruz Beckham and girlfriend Jackie perform at dad David's 50th birthday amid feud with brother Brooklyn "Those are my 2 humble thoughts of the day and check in on your people always. "It could be making the biggest difference and you don't even know." POSH AND BECKS APPROVAL Cruz and Jackie have been together since April last year, and she has a good relationship with his famous parents. This is in stark contrast to his brother Brooklyn, 26, and wife Nicola Peltz, 30, who are locked in a feud with his parents after they missed David's 50th birthday celebrations in May. But Cruz and Jackie were there — and even performed Dolly Parton classic Islands in the Stream at a family dinner. 7 The couple started dating in April last year Credit: Jackie appears to have been accepted into the Beckham clan as she spent Christmas with the family at their £60million waterfront mansion in Miami. She also supported Victoria at her fashion show during Paris Fashion Week last September, and even wore her £990 cream satin cami gown to her runway show. Jackie was previously part of the Brazilian girl band Schutz, and she gained more than one million plays on her first EP – Reformation a side. 7 The couple have just got back from Glastonbury Credit: GLASTONBURY FUN Cruz and Jackie have just got back from Glastonbury, but they didn't slum it with the rest of the festival goers. As you would expect, the couple lived the high life at the festival in one of the camp's most expensive and private VIP tents which cost around £9K. Sharing a slew of snaps from inside their tent - which closely resembled an A-list hotel room - it was clear that the pair had checked themselves into Camp Kerala. This luxury camp includes Shikar tents which came complete with a luxury king-size bed, their own private en-suite toilet and shower block. In one snap the couple could be seen enjoying a breakfast in bed with their food served on a wooden slate - a far cry from the realities of being in one of the Somerset festival's regular camps.

Kyle Sandilands makes shock return to his radio show after threatening to quit following on air tantrum

Kyle Sandilands returned to his radio show on Thursday, one day after sensationally storming off during a live segment. The shock jock and his co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson had been heavily censored on Tuesday for discussing the case of alleged murderer and former Beauty and the Geek star Tamika Chesser. Returning to the show on Wednesday, Kyle raged that it was 'unfair' television and newspapers were able to report on the case before storming off the show. However, the 54-year-old returned on Thursday despite claiming he would not be returning to air this week. 'No one has mentioned it this morning and I forgot about it yesterday,' Kyle told his co-host Jackie O. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I can't actually recall what it was about,' he added before asking what happened on the show following his departure. During Wednesday's radio show, a furious Kyle complained that radio was held to a different standard when it came to 'contempt of court' before storming off. He went on to say that the 'radio laws should be overhauled', before the show was taken off air. 'This means someone has said something inappropriate and is currently getting in trouble,' a recorded voice said. 'The broadcast will return in seconds.' Coming back on air, Kyle, who was broadcasting from home, was clearly not happy with the interruption and took aim at the KIIS FM censor. 'OK, so the show got dumped in the middle of a planned discussion that I had already discussed with the legal team about things that have been happening on the show,' he said. 'Why was that dumped, censor, when I was using all the correct lingo?' The censor told him that it was The Kyle & Jackie O Show director Bruno Bouchet who had made the call to dump the show. 'You only dump when we've broken the law', Kyle raged, before sensationally announcing he was leaving the show. 'You know what? I'm going home – oh sorry, I'm already home. 'I'm not going to waste my life coming in here when I'm being given this instruction, that instruction, this archaic law, that archaic law. I'm not doing it. 'I'm not interested in being puppeteered by losers.' Kyle's spray did not end there, with the radio star adding that he would not be returning to the airwaves. 'Some laws are just so dumb and stupid, and I'm not playing ball,' he said. 'Until this show runs the way I intend it to be run, I will not be back on the air at all, in any way, shape or form. 'I'm not going to waste my life here walking on eggshells around other people's ideas of what I should be doing. 'I do what I want to do and if you don't like it, tough s***. That's the way it is with me.' Kyle then joked he was going searching for Bruno with 'the dogs and a baseball bat' around his house before Kyle's manager returned to the mic. He admitted pulling the show off the air, saying: 'Yeah for the contempt of court stuff. I just don't want you guys going to jail'. This did not sit well with Kyle who replied he would rather face prison time than be told what to do. 'I'd rather be r***d in jail than be puppeteered by losers,' he spat. 'That's the show ripped up. Judges can shove it in their a***, ACMA [Australian Communications and Media Authority] can shove it in their a***, and so can the management of the radio station.' Kyle then said that he would be off air until at least Monday before making his exit. 'Enjoy the rest of the week, guys. Arrivederci from me,' he signed off. Former reality star Tamika Chesser was arrested on June 19 after police responded to reports of a small fire at the Port Lincoln home she shared with 39-year-old Julian Daniel Story. But when emergency services arrived, they found Mr Story dismembered and missing his head on the bathroom floor of the apartment. Chesser was arrested at the scene and charged with murder. She is currently being held in James Nash House, a mental health facility.
