Kyle Sandilands makes shock return to his radio show after threatening to quit following on air tantrum
The shock jock and his co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson had been heavily censored on Tuesday for discussing the case of alleged murderer and former Beauty and the Geek star Tamika Chesser.
Returning to the show on Wednesday, Kyle raged that it was 'unfair' television and newspapers were able to report on the case before storming off the show.
However, the 54-year-old returned on Thursday despite claiming he would not be returning to air this week.
'No one has mentioned it this morning and I forgot about it yesterday,' Kyle told his co-host Jackie O.

'I can't actually recall what it was about,' he added before asking what happened on the show following his departure.
During Wednesday's radio show, a furious Kyle complained that radio was held to a different standard when it came to 'contempt of court' before storming off.
He went on to say that the 'radio laws should be overhauled', before the show was taken off air.
'This means someone has said something inappropriate and is currently getting in trouble,' a recorded voice said. 'The broadcast will return in seconds.'
Coming back on air, Kyle, who was broadcasting from home, was clearly not happy with the interruption and took aim at the KIIS FM censor.
'OK, so the show got dumped in the middle of a planned discussion that I had already discussed with the legal team about things that have been happening on the show,' he said.
'Why was that dumped, censor, when I was using all the correct lingo?'
The censor told him that it was The Kyle & Jackie O Show director Bruno Bouchet who had made the call to dump the show.
'You only dump when we've broken the law', Kyle raged, before sensationally announcing he was leaving the show.
'You know what? I'm going home – oh sorry, I'm already home.
'I'm not going to waste my life coming in here when I'm being given this instruction, that instruction, this archaic law, that archaic law. I'm not doing it.
'I'm not interested in being puppeteered by losers.'
Kyle's spray did not end there, with the radio star adding that he would not be returning to the airwaves.
'Some laws are just so dumb and stupid, and I'm not playing ball,' he said.
'Until this show runs the way I intend it to be run, I will not be back on the air at all, in any way, shape or form.
'I'm not going to waste my life here walking on eggshells around other people's ideas of what I should be doing.
'I do what I want to do and if you don't like it, tough s***. That's the way it is with me.'
Kyle then joked he was going searching for Bruno with 'the dogs and a baseball bat' around his house before Kyle's manager returned to the mic.
He admitted pulling the show off the air, saying: 'Yeah for the contempt of court stuff. I just don't want you guys going to jail'.
This did not sit well with Kyle who replied he would rather face prison time than be told what to do.
'I'd rather be r***d in jail than be puppeteered by losers,' he spat.
'That's the show ripped up. Judges can shove it in their a***, ACMA [Australian Communications and Media Authority] can shove it in their a***, and so can the management of the radio station.'
Kyle then said that he would be off air until at least Monday before making his exit.
'Enjoy the rest of the week, guys. Arrivederci from me,' he signed off.
Former reality star Tamika Chesser was arrested on June 19 after police responded to reports of a small fire at the Port Lincoln home she shared with 39-year-old Julian Daniel Story.
But when emergency services arrived, they found Mr Story dismembered and missing his head on the bathroom floor of the apartment.
Chesser was arrested at the scene and charged with murder. She is currently being held in James Nash House, a mental health facility.

Cops swoop on $3million 'Chinese blessing' scam targeting vulnerable Aussies in Sydney and Melbourne
An elderly woman is the latest victim of a 'disgraceful' spiritual blessing scam defrauding dozens of people out of priceless jewels and thousands of dollars. NSW Police arrested a 63-year-old woman at Sydney Airport on Thursday night before taking her to Mascot Police Station. She is accused of defrauding a 77-year-old woman out of $130,000 in cash and jewellery in Parramatta, in the city's west, in June. Detective Superintendent Guy Magee told a press conference on Friday that police believed over 50 people were involved in the scam in Sydney and Melbourne. He said the men act as the coordinators, while the women are tasked with convincing victims their wealth needed to be blessed to protect their families from spirits. Supt Magee said the syndicate was 'targeting the entire east coast'. 'The offending could be double what we think,' he told reporters. 'There is an element of shame and humiliation for the victims... please don't be [ashamed] and let us stand alongside you. 'We're also calling out to the younger generations of these Asian communities to tell their parents and grandparents about this scam. 'Tell them they shouldn't be talking to strangers or taking them back to their homes. 'Tell them not to follow anyone to a herbal or spiritual healer.' Police said it is the latest example of a scam aimed at people of Asian backgrounds, where alleged offenders 'exploit cultural fears'. 'Once the scammers are in possession of their money and valuables including jewellery, the items are swapped with items of no value and the women are encouraged not to open the bags for an extended time,' police said. A police Strike Force has been in operation since April, investigating alleged blessing scams across Sydney since 2023. Police have received reports of more than 80 incidents in that time and say the scams have netted a cool $3million in cash and valuables. The 63-year-old woman arrested on Thursday was charged with dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception, participating in a criminal group, and demanding property in company with menaces with intent to steal. She was set to face Parramatta Local Court on Friday after being denied police bail.

Neil is based in Carcoar (pop. 271), in the NSW Central West region, overseeing the remodelling of the dilapidated former guest house they bought for just over $1 million in May 2023, while Edwina lives in Sydney for her job at Seven. Earlier this year, the popular Sunrise star and her husband, who share two children, Molly, five and Tom, three, finally received approval to move ahead with their dream to convert the building into a luxury getaway dubbed 'Saltash Farm'. It will be lovely to have a bit more time with family to enjoy life at a slower pace.' She added that working on the home would help keep her busy and take her mind off her cancer diagnosis. 'This is a condition I will manage and live with. Our renovation has been a beautiful distraction and will continue to be in the months to come,' Edwina continued. Edwina also revealed that she only sees her husband of seven years on weekends and public holidays. Neil's chronic fatigue syndrome diagnosis prompted him to leave Sydney and relocate to regional New South Wales – a move she claims 'genuinely healed him'. 'That was a decision we had to make for ourselves a few years ago because what we were doing clearly wasn't working,' she told Australian Women's Weekly. 'He lives three hours away from us, and we see him on weekends and holidays and back and forth, but it's been the best thing, and probably the only way we would have survived as a family.' Edwina confirmed to Daily Mail Australia earlier this year that her family does indeed plan to leave Sydney for good one day - but that is still quite a way off. 'We are very keen to eventually settle in the country,' she said. 'But we are in no hurry. 'We have the best of both worlds and will continue to juggle the back and forth for the foreseeable future.' 'Our family schedule and WhatsApp chat of who is where and what is happening is absolutely nuts,' she added. The TV star got candid at the event about how CML – a type of blood and bone marrow cancer – had impacted her life. 'I was fortunate that I had a month where I knew about it before I told everyone. I had this experience without having to go through the trauma of chemotherapy,' Edwina began. '[The cancer] was a gift, because it put things into perspective... I didn't have to go through a really intense experience of being "in" cancer and absorbed by it.' Edwina's diagnosis is a 'mild' form of leukaemia and can often be managed without having to undergo chemotherapy.
