Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha were set to film for The Great Indian Kapil Show, but the shoot was cancelled after Raghav's mother fell ill and was hospitalised.
The most recent guests on The Kapil Sharma Show were Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha. The star couple was set to shoot for a new episode of the comedian's Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, but now a heartbreaking report has emerged from the sets. It has been reported that Raghav's mother fell ill during the shoot and had to be rushed to the hospital.
As per a report on paparazzo Viral Bhayani's page, since Parineeti Chopra's mother-in-law fell ill during the shoot of The Great Indian Kapil Show, she had to be rushed to the hospital, leading to the cancellation of the shoot. The production team will decide on a new date soon.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma has been in the headlines ever since the shocking incident of gunfire outside his Canada café. There were reports that Kapil might cancel the shoot of his popular chat show The Great Indian Kapil Show, following the incident, but it looks like he has chosen another path and is continuing with all his work commitments. Just yesterday, on July 19, he shared pictures from Dubai as he landed to shoot for his upcoming film Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2.
While Kapil Sharma has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident, the Kap's Caffe team released a statement on Friday. It said, 'We opened Kap's Caffe with hopes of bringing warmth, community, and joy through delicious coffee and friendly conversation. To have violence intersect with that dream is heartbreaking. We are processing this shock, but we are not giving up."
The statement also thanked patrons for their support during this difficult time. Concluding on a hopeful note, the café wrote, 'Let's stand firm against violence and ensure Kap's Caffe remains a place of warmth and community."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti Chopra is all set to mark her web series debut with an upcoming mystery-thriller by Netflix. While the actress has remained tight-lipped regarding the details of the project, she has kept fans in the loop with glimpses from the sets via her Instagram posts.
