Jennifer Lopez Feels ‘Wiser' and ‘Bulletproof' at Spain Concert Following Ben Affleck Divorce
Mid-way through the show, J.Lo, 55, told the crowd that the lyrics 'came to me when I was up all night one night,' in a video shared to Instagram on Tuesday, July 8 – but she didn't clarify who inspired them.
'Thank you for the scars you left on my heart… showing me that stars shine brighter in the dark,' she sang. 'I won't fall apart because of who we are, but your broken parts.'
Later in the song, she said she feels 'stronger, wiser, better than I've ever been' and 'bulletproof' as she continues to climb out of the 'wreckage' of the unnamed relationship.
The debut of J.Lo's powerful song comes six months after her divorce from ex-husband Ben Affleck was finalized in January — and only two weeks before her 56th birthday. While Lopez's Up All Night: Live Tour kicked off on July 8 in Pontevedra, Spain, and will include a total of 21 shows before it ends on August 10 in Kazakhstan, according to a source, she's making sure she still has time to get her party on for her birthday on July 24.
As Star previously reported, Lopez was going 'through the motions' and 'crying for a lot' of her 55th birthday last year – which came roughly three months after her separation from The Accountant 2 actor, 52, in April 2024 – but this year, she's ready to go all out!
'She's going to fly out some of her close friends so that she's not alone,' a source revealed earlier this month. 'They'll all get the A-list treatment right alongside her.'
As for her plans for her special day, the source said it was a 'toss up' between 'renting out a huge yacht' and going cruising or getting a 'five-star villa' where she can 'lounge and get spa treatments' with her friends before throwing a big birthday bash and really letting loose as she celebrates another year around the sun.
'She's in a way better place and is actually in the mood to party,' added the source. 'She's finally ready to put herself first again and she plans to go big, blow off steam and celebrate like the true superstar she is.'

A pool day turned perilous at a hotel in Benidorm, Spain, recently with over 10 men caught on video in an all-out brawl. The video, originally posted to TikTok, shows a man in a blue bathing suit getting out of the pool and pushing another man dressed in a black t-shirt, pants, and white sneakers into the pool. He then starts throwing punches at another man, who is seemingly a security guard or hotel employee. The scene swells from there, with the man dressed in black getting out of the pool and throwing punches back at the man in blue and a group of his friends all dressed in bathing suits. As more employees join, the fighting turns to yelling and the camera pans to show a crowded pool full of other people watching. In the background of the fight, near the group of men in bathing suits, an English flag is being flown with the words 'Mansfield Town' and 'Ashs Stag 2025,' hinting that these may have been British tourists celebrating a bachelor party. A second video posted to the same TikTok page is captioned "what started it all, the bouncer hitting the British lad for having a laugh."
