The Latest News On Orlando Bloom And Katy Perry's Relationship — & Breakup
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom might have had total sparks, but the couple has called it quits after nearly 10 years together. My S.O. will probably tell you that I randomly belt out, "Baby you're a firework" several times a day because I can't get enough of the way Katy Perry actively encourages people to be their full selves. It's something she strives to do in her career and personal life as evidenced by her 9-year public relationship with the actor Orlando Bloom. Yes, the same man who deliciously played Legolas in The Lord of the Rings and Will Turner in The Pirates of the Caribbean. But in 2025, these two called off their relationship, and it just proves how dedicated they are to going after the lives they want. (And we're wishing them the best!). Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry called it quits in the summer of 2025 — and Orlando posted a family photo after the couple confirmed the breakup. I'm so relieved to see they're all smiles! On February 27, 2025, Blue Origin that Katy Perry was joining the New Shepard NS-31 crew — alongside an all-female crew including iconic journalist, — heading to actual factual outer space. While that fact is shocking to nearly everyone (just look at the comments section on the Instagram announcement), we could only imagine what that conversation with husband-to-be, Orlando Bloom was like. However, Katy Perry just gave us a peak into her decision making process — including what her fiancé thinks about it all. On March 3, 2025, Katy told that she and Orlando "respect each other so much" so they "want to get input from each other." "He is also all about the journey," she said. "That's one thing, I really, really admire about him — he's a seeker." Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom took the "'black" carpet at the 2024 VMA Awards, and they looked better than ever! Katy bared her body in a frayed, white two-piece look that only she could pull off, while Orlando rocked an all-black outfit to let her ensemble shine. And while they looked great, Katy had a very relatable mom moment during an interview. She looked into the screen and told her daughter Daisy not to stay up too late and to "eat your broccoli," noting that it's Daisy's first time watching MTV ever! Adorable! Orlando then introduced Katy before her VMA Vanguard Award performance. He said, "You fell in love with her as Katy Perry. I fell in love with her as Katherine Hudson." He continued by elaborating on Katy's many successes and how proud he is of her. Then, post-performance (wow, that aerial work was INCREDIBLE), Orlando presented the actual Moon Person to Katy. While Katy rattled off the usual thank you's (her label, her team, her parents), there was one "thank you" that really stood out among the rest. When thanking her husband, she said, "Thank you to Orlando for keeping me grounded, celebrated, and doing the dishes." Stars — they really are just like us! Shortly after her electrifying VMA Vanguard Award performance, Kate Perry explained how much her stepson Flynn helped her piece together parts of her album 143. She chatted with about his contributions, but made it known her family doesn't obsess over her music like fans."They've had enough of me. I mean, they're fine, but family, they're telling me to move or take the trash out," she said. Flynn's the only one who truly offers tangible feedback. She said, "He's got good taste" and "loves this song called 'All the Love,'" on 143. Out of everything Katy's written, it's one of her "favorite songs." The couple attended the 10th Annual Breakthrough Prize Event in April 2024 and looked elegant in their black-tie outfits. As far as their then-wedding plans were concerned, Katy Perry shared what she plans to do once she leaves American Idol. Per , she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and said, "I think this probably will be my last show, my last season for Idol. I mean, I love Idol so much. It's connected me with the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse to my own beat." Orlando also revealed to that things can be challenging for the couple. He said, "Her pool is not a pool that I necessarily understand, and I think my pool is not a pool that she necessarily understands. Sometimes things are really, really, really, challenging. I won't lie. We definitely battle with our emotions and creativity." Appearing on Chelsea Handler's podcast , Katy got real about her and Orlando attending therapy together. "We love it because it keeps us in so when you want to come back to being normal in a domesticated world where you have a child and stuff like that, you have to really learn how to be kind of different out there in the big and in the small," she said. We love a couple who attends therapy together! Orlando showed his support for Katy when she was in Las Vegas for her residency. He shared a goofy picture of him BTS with her on and wrote, "There's a new act on the #vegas strip @katyperry so proud of you. Let's all go #play 🍄🚀 HNY❤️," as his caption. Still my idol: Hynes' touching tribute to tough Munster
Nicho Hynes has offered a touching tribute to Cameron Munster following the sudden death of his father, revealing he still views the Melbourne star as his idol. Hynes crossed twice in Cronulla's 24-12 win over the Dolphins on Friday night, in what was close to the Sharks halfback's best game of the season. The Cronulla No.7 had Munster's father's name Steven written on his wristband, days after Queensland dedicated their State of Origin series win to the family. Hynes also revealed his post-try celebration for the first four-pointer was a tribute to Munster, performing a dance the pair used to do together while at the Storm. "I've just been thinking about him a lot," Hynes said afterwards. "I've been talking to my girlfriend about it. It's like, that could have been me. That could be anyone waking up without their dad or a parent. "I'm sending lots of love to his family. I just remember after games at Melbourne, seeing his old man and old lady in the sheds. Always smiling and happy. "It touched me a lot, big time." First points on the board? ✔️ Fortnite moves? ✔️ — NRL (@NRL) July 11, 2025 Munster sat out Melbourne's trip to Newcastle on Saturday after returning to his family in Rockhampton following his inspirational effort in State of Origin III. Hynes said he had watched Munster's game-three performance with pride, after the 30-year-old took him under his wing from the moment he arrived at Melbourne in late 2018. "In my first pre-season there I was a nobody. I was literally there on a train-and-trial deal and he didn't have to give me any time of day," Hynes said. "But he ended up having me at his house for a couple of weeks and whenever he wanted to go for a feed, he'd ask me to go for a feed. "He was just someone who was so nice and caring and wanted to help out and make me better. "I looked up to him. I've looked up to him ever since I met him. He's just someone I idolise. "Even now, seeing the way he's handled it and went out and performed the other night, I don't think I've seen and played with a better rugby league player live."

NRL club urged to make immediate move for Cam Smith as ugly showdown looms
Former NRL star Josh Reynolds has called for the Gold Coast Titans to chase Queensland legend Cameron Smith as their next coach with reports Des Hasler could be on his way out. This week, reports intensified that coach Hasler won't be at the club next season after the sides troubles in 2025. Broncos great Corey Parker doubled down on suggestions Gold Coast Titans need to make an immediate coaching change if whispers were true that Hasler had one-eye on retirement at the end of the season. The Titans are sitting last on the NRL ladder after 18 rounds with just four wins for the season. They also face a Broncos side who have now won two in a row and are looking to cement themselves in the top eight this weekend. Hasler was brought into the side in 2024 to turn around their fortunes, but they finished 14th. The team is not doing any better this season and are once again set to miss finals footy as they battle to avoid the wooden spoon. And on Friday, reports emerged the board will have the option to let Hasler go if they don't beat the Broncos this weekend due to a clause in his contract. Reporter Peter Badel told SEN Radio the Titans can opt on the option as soon as the club don't have a mathematical chance of making finals footy. And this has prompted former NRL five-eighth Reynolds to suggest the club need to make a statement and go after a huge name. Smith is open about his desire to take Australian national side role as head coach ahead of the Ashes series later this year. However, it appears he is in a race with Kevin Walters. But Reynolds believes the Gold Coast Titans need to make a statement and throw the money at Smith to change the culture at the club. "I think they need to go after a big fish, his name has been tossed around for a few jobs at the moment, someone like Cam Smith," Reynolds said on SEN Radio. "Lives up there. They need a winner. I know Cam Smith hasn't done any coaching, but they need someone who knows how to win. That's all he has done his whole career. It could be a big call." Reynolds suggested someone like Phil Gould could come in and 'ruffle some feathers' with the club struggling for years, despite a strong squad on paper. Reynolds said the club needs a 'full reshuffle' to start competing. Walters has also been linked to the Titans role on a number of occasions, but appears keen on coaching the national side. Speaking on Friday, The Courier Mail reporter Badel claimed Hasler is facing a tough situation at the club. "It's a sad state of affairs," Badel told SEN Radio. "There was great hopes that Hasler would be the man to make this sleeping giant become a force. "There's disharmony there. Players have raised issues with the coaching is in his contract, a clause that he can be let go if the Titans don't have a mathematical chance of the eight and that will be this weekend if they lose. "I cant see how the Titans make the eight and that gives them the power to pull the trigger. If they don't pull the trigger I think they will part ways." While the Titans have been urged to chase a big fish, it appears Queensland coach Billy Slater won't be available. Queensland Rugby League chief Ben Ikin says the Maroons are keen to extend Slater's contract after his coaching masterclass helped deliver a famous Origin series victory. In a move designed to help create a Maroons dynasty, it would also ward off interest from NRL clubs potentially looking to poach Slater, whose assistant Josh Hannay has been tipped to succeed under-fire Titans coach, Des Hasler. Ikin's comments come amid reports that Slater's Maroons assistant Josh Hannay has emerged as the frontrunner to succeed under-fire Gold Coast head coach, Hasler. The veteran mentor reportedly has a clause in his contract meaning the Titans can sack him if they fail to finish the season inside the top-eight.
