Adam Devine needs an explanation.
The "Workaholics" actor, 41, revealed in an interview on "In Depth With Graham Bensinger" that his "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" co-star Zac Efron mysteriously ghosted him just after asking him for a place to stay for two weeks.
Devine told Bensinger that about six months ago, the "High School Musical" star called him "out of the blue" for the first time in a few years and told him that he misses him.
"He's like, 'Um, you still have that place down by the beach?' And I'm like, 'I do,'" Devine said. "He's like, 'Would it be cool if I came and crashed with you for two weeks?' I'm like, 'Uh, yeah, sure, come stay with me.' He's like, 'Alright, I'm gonna call you tomorrow to get all the details, and then I'll be there early next week, and then you'll send me the address and all that.' I'm like, 'Alright.'"
But according to Devine, Efron never followed up to get the details, and that phone call is the last time they've spoken.
Adam DeVine reveals he is 'constantly' being grabbed after performances and he's fed up
"He ghosted me, dude," Devine said. "Never called back. I even texted him like, 'Are you gonna stay here?' Haven't talked with him since. So I have no idea, dude. No idea."
USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Efron.

Efron and Devine starred as brothers in "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," a 2016 comedy where their characters place an ad looking for dates to accompany them to their sister's wedding. Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza also starred.
Devine told Bensinger that he, Efron, Kendrick and Plaza are still on a text chain together, where they'll sometimes share stories about running into people who are fans of the film.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2016, Devine said that he and Efron "really clicked" starting from their "rehearsal-slash-brother-bonding time" while working on "Mike and Dave."
"It sort of pisses me off how great of a guy he is on top of being America's handsome prince," he added.
More than two years after the film's release, Devine shared a photo from the set in a 2018 Instagram post wishing a happy birthday to "my main man Z bone," calling Efron "my brother in flexed arms."

Popular Netflix series "The Hunting Wives" filmed in Charlotte

Netflix's "The Hunting Wives" was filmed in and around Charlotte and fans are starting to notice. Why it matters: North Carolina's film industry is quietly boosting tourism as visitors flock to recognizable backdrops. Plus, the star-studded show is heading into its second straight week as a top 10 series on Netflix. Catch up quick: "The Hunting Wives" is based on May Cobb's 2021 novel by the same name. It follows Sophie (played by Brittany Snow from "Pitch Perfect" and "John Tucker Must Die") as she and her family move from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the fictional town of Maple Brook, Texas. There she meets Margo (played by Malin Åkerman from "27 Dresses") and her husband Jed (played by Dermot Mulroney from "My Best Friend's Wedding"). Other familiar faces in the show include Chrissy Metz from "This Is Us" as Starr and Katie Lowes from "Scandal" as Jill. You can stream all eight episodes of the first season now. Be prepared for a Rated-R murder-mystery with a lot of nudity. Below are nine filming locations and local businesses we spotted while watching the show. Don't worry, we won't spoil anything for you. Coyote Joe's The popular Country bar and live music venue appears in multiple episodes. Show creators kept the name, so you'll recognize it immediately. The Park Church This Charlotte church, which has served its congregation for more than 100 years, was a main setting on the show, where it's called "Holy Horizon Church." Lake Norman Margo and Jed's lake house is actually an Airbnb on Lake Norman called the Azalea Retreat. The 6-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom, 6,500-square-foot log cabin sleeps 22 people and includes lake views, plus a private dock. Main Street in Mooresville If you're looking for the town of Maple Brook, you'll find it in downtown Mooresville. The fictional town came to life about an hour north of Charlotte. In episode two, Sophie goes shopping in the quaint downtown, which was decorated with "Maple Brook" signs for the show. Dilworth Tasting Room Dilworth Tasting Room's original location off Tremont Avenue appears in episode four. Margo and Callie have met up for mimosas here. Stop by: 300 E Tremont Ave. The Social Cow Ice Cream Truck Maebel, an old mail truck turned ice cream truck, can be spotted in the backdrop of a scene in episode four, where Salazar and Starr are having a conversation at a waterfront park. Stop by: You can find the Social Cow at The Market at 7th Street (224 E 7th St.). Open Tuesday through Friday from 12—8pm. Rodeway Inn University Area This former budget motel is first shown in episode five and serves as a key location in the latter half of the season. The now-closed site is one of several Sugar Creek budget motels being developed into affordable housing. Falcon Trail Trailhead Falcon Trail Trailhead in Richfield, NC, served as the backdrop for several outdoor scenes, according to the Observer. The five-mile portion of the Carolina Thread Trail connects Misenheimer at Pfeiffer University to Richfield. Stop by: Richfield Park Road and HWY 49, Richfield, NC 28137 Chapter 6 This popular Mediterranean restaurant, which we rated as one of the best in the city this year, is where Margo and Callie go to have drinks in episode eight. Stop by: 2151 Hawkins St., in South End

"Love Is Blind" wants New Orleans singles

The pods could be coming to New Orleans. Why it matters: Netflix's "Love Is Blind" is casting singles here, hinting of a potential local season for the hit reality dating show. The big picture: Kinetic Content Casting is looking for "brave" and "open-minded" men and women who are ready for a committed relationship, according to Instagram. Applications are open for singles in New Orleans, Austin, Charleston, St. Louis and Philadelphia. Does that mean the show is headed to New Orleans? Kinetic didn't respond to Axios' query. The show's upcoming season is in Denver. Previous seasons have been in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Charlotte and (forgettably) Minneapolis. How it works: " Love Is Blind" is one of Netflix's most-watched reality shows. Nick and Vanessa Lachey host. In the show, singles try to fall in love without ever seeing each other face-to-face. Contestants mingle inside "pods" separated by a frosted glass wall. They only meet after the proposal. Couples then move in together, plan a wedding and decide on their wedding day whether to tie the knot or walk away. The fine print: Applicants must be single — not "in a committed, intimate or monogamous dating relationship" and not seeking a divorce. You can't be a candidate for public office either. Zoom in: Axios peeked at some of the application questions.

Happy Gilmore 2 gets the biggest US opening of any Netflix movie ever

Adam Sandler has been making Netflix money for years, but he's never had a success quite as large as Happy Gilmore 2. The comedy sequel debuted on the streaming service on July 25, and over just three days, it accumulated 46.7 million views, where views are defined as the number of hours the movie was watched divided by its runtime. That makes it the biggest opening weekend of all time in the U.S. for a Netflix original film. Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's also a personal best for Sandler, who has made a number of movies for Netflix since the streamer started investing in original content. The movie was number 1 on Netflix over the weekend, and the original Happy Gilmore was the third most popular movie on the streaming service. Happy Gilmore 2 comes almost 30 years after the original film, which first hit theaters in 1996, and was part of a wave of comedies that turned Sandler into a bona fide comedy star. The original film follows Sandler's titular character, an aspiring hockey player who realizes that he has a talent for golf and eventually becomes highly competitive, even as he braces against many of the strictures of the culture around the sport. Recommended Videos In the sequel, Happy retires from golf following a tragic accident, and only returns after he learns that he needs to find a way to finance the tuition for his daughter's dance school. The new movie features the return of Christopher MacDonald's Shooter McGavin, as well as new characters played by Benny Safdie, Bad Bunny, Travis Kelce, and roles for his wife and his two daughters.
