Cameron Diaz to Star in Action Comedy "Bad Day" for Netflix
Yara Sameh Cameron Diaz, who after a near-decade hiatus made a return to acting this year with Netflix's hit "Back in Action", is continuing to be back in action. Diaz has reunited with the streaming giant and signed on to star in "Bad Day," an action comedy to be directed by Jake Szymanski, who helmed the well-regarded comedy series "Jury Duty" as well as "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates". Beau Bauman, who produced "Back in Action", is producing with his Good One Productions. Written by Laura Solon, the original script centers on a single mom fighting to keep one little promise to her daughter on the absolute worst day of her life. The project has been described as a comedic version of "Falling Down", the 1993 drama directed by Joel Schumacher that starred Michael Douglas as a man who hits his breaking point while trying to get to his daughter's birthday party. Solon will executive produce, as will Mark Moran. This is the third collaboration for the Solon and Bauman, who previously worked together on comedies "Office Christmas Party" and "Let It Snow". The scribe wrote the script on spec, with Bauman helping to develop it. Netflix is moving fast on this one, which will shoot this fall in New York and New Jersey. With movies ranging from Something About "Mary" and "The Holiday" to "Bad Teacher" and the Shrek movies, Diaz was one of Hollywood's most bankable big-screen stars when she took a break in 2014. She was lured back by the previous Netflix regime with the promise of a big paycheck and the chance to reunite with her Annie co-star Jamie Foxx for "Back in Action". The movie, about a married couple who happen to be former spies, debuted in January and became an instant hit on the platform. In just six months, it now ranks at No. 6 on Netflix's most watched movie list of all time, per Nielsen. "Back in Action" is also the most watched original streaming movie of the year so far, with 5.26 billion minutes viewed, and the third-most-watched movie on any streaming platform. read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Israeli-Linked Hadassah Clinic in Moscow Treats Wounded Iranian IRGC Fighters News China Launches Largest Ever Aircraft Carrier Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Tragedy Overshadows MC Alger Championship Celebration: One Fan Dead, 11 Injured After Stadium Fall Lifestyle Get to Know 2025 Eid Al Adha Prayer Times in Egypt Arts & Culture South Korean Actress Kang Seo-ha Dies at 31 after Cancer Battle News "Tensions Escalate: Iran Probes Allegations of Indian Tech Collaboration with Israeli Intelligence" News Flights suspended at Port Sudan Airport after Drone Attacks Arts & Culture Hawass Foundation Launches 1st Course to Teach Ancient Egyptian Language Videos & Features Video: Trending Lifestyle TikToker Valeria Márquez Shot Dead during Live Stream

6 Stunning, Photographer-Approved Wedding Venues on Oahu, Hawaii
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to photograph weddings at many of Oahu's most beautiful venues, from iconic resorts in Waikiki to private estates tucked into the island's most scenic corners. Each of these locations offers something unique, not only in their settings but in the experience they create for couples and their guests. Whether you're dreaming of a large, multi-day wedding weekend or an intimate beachfront celebration, these are some of my favorite Oahu venues to photograph, including what makes each of them truly special for destination weddings in Hawaii. Located on Oahu's Southwest side in the Ko Olina resort area, about 45 minutes from Waikiki and Honolulu International Airport, Four Seasons Oahu offers a luxurious setting for multi-day wedding weekends. The resort features oceanfront ceremony spaces, lush tropical gardens, an incredible spa, and multiple pools. Most couples and their guests choose to stay on-site, where they can enjoy the full resort experience. The property offers a range of suites and guest rooms, including the Penthouse Suite, which is an ideal space for getting ready or hosting family members. Couples love the variety of experiences this property offers, from beach days with family to sunset cocktails at the resort's restaurants. The resort makes it easy to host welcome dinners, spa days, and beach outings as part of the wedding weekend, and for guests that have an array of ages and interests. The sunsets here are especially stunning, with views framed by the Waianae mountain range and the Pacific Ocean. Some insider tips: the beach path walkway behind the ceremony lawn and pool area is a favorite spot for portraits, with especially beautiful golden hour light. For ceremonies, I recommend angling the setup toward the mountains rather than directly toward the ocean to create softer light and a more comfortable experience for guests. Four Seasons Oahu is an ideal choice for couples seeking an elevated, seamless multi-day wedding weekend, with incredible guest experience. Set on Oahu's famed North Shore, about an hour and fifteen minutes from Waikiki and Honolulu International Airport, The Ritz-Carlton O'ahu, Turtle Bay Resort offers a luxurious yet laid-back atmosphere that is ideal for a multi-day wedding weekend. The resort sits on a stunning stretch of coastline known for its world-class surfing and exceptional sunsets. Many couples and their guests stay on-site, taking advantage of Turtle Bay's oceanfront accommodations, full-service spa, and a range of guest activities. Popular activities include horseback riding along the coast (the sunset ride is my favorite!), beach cruiser bike rentals and coastal walking trails. The property features multiple ceremony and reception spaces, both indoor and outdoor, making it perfect for weddings of all sizes. For movie buffs, the resort has also served as a filming location for movies such as 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' and 'Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates'. Many of my couples choose Turtle Bay specifically because it allows them to create a full wedding weekend without ever leaving the property. Guests spend their days walking the coastal trails, riding beach cruisers, taking in the views on horseback rides along the shore, then gather for sunset dinners or cocktails overlooking the ocean. In the winter months (November through February), the North Shore surf adds another bit of magic- the mist in the air from the big waves creates a soft golden haze that photographs so beautifully. I always recommend leaving time to wander down to the rocky beach path behind the ceremony spaces, which is one of my favorite places to photograph portraits as the light turns golden! The food at Turtle Bay is also excellent, and many couples host a welcome party or farewell brunch on site to round out the weekend. It's an effortless, experience-driven venue that makes it easy for couples and guests of all ages to relax and enjoy time together. Set on Oahu's east side, about 45 minutes from Waikiki, Kualoa Ranch has one of the island's most iconic outdoor wedding venue landscapes. It is known for its dramatic green cliffs and sweeping views of Kāneʻohe Bay. It's also one of Hawaii's most famous filming locations, with movies like 'Jurassic Park', 'Jumanji' and '50 First Dates' all shot here. Palikū Gardens is the dedicated event space, offering unobstructed views of the mountains and ocean, with plenty of room for large celebrations. While the venue does have a permanent tented reception area, the ceremony lawn is open to the elements, and some of the most magical moments happen when a soft rain passes through, misting the cliffs and adding to the atmosphere. Since the ranch is on the East side (or windward, as we call it) side of the island, I recommend planning for an earlier portrait session, as the light fades a bit sooner here with the sun going down behind the Ko'olau Mountains. Most couples provide shuttle transportation from Waikiki hotels, since Kualoa is more remote and the access road is a two-lane highway where traffic can back up easily. It's also worth noting that the on-site bridal suite is functional but doesn't have any natural light! I often suggest couples get ready and photographed at their hotel and travel to the venue. Kualoa is ideal for couples who want that quintessential Hawaii backdrop, lush, wild, and cinematic, but with a relaxed, outdoor feel. Known as the 'Pink Palace of the Pacific,' the Royal Hawaiian is one of Waikiki's most iconic hotels, and one of my personal favorites. It opened in 1927, and has hosted legendary guests including Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, The Beatles, and President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Its signature pink facade, umbrellas, beach towels, and Spanish-Moorish architecture are a landmark in Waikiki. Guests often stay on property, enjoying direct beach access, views of Diamond Head, and very walkable access to Waikiki's restaurants and shops. Event spaces range from the lush Coconut Grove to the beachfront lawn to a beautiful ballroom (great for use as a rain backup!). Many of my clients choose the Royal Hawaiian for its timeless style and convenient location. I suggest setting aside time for an additional portrait session on another day, when the early morning light is soft and the beach is more quiet. I highly recommend visiting the Royal Hawaiian Bakery- the famous banana bread, signature pink croissants, and pink pancakes at Surf Lanai are always a hit. The hotel's central location makes it especially convenient for families and guests who want to pair a chic wedding celebration with the vibrant energy of Waikiki. It's also perfectly walkable to an after party at a nearby Waikiki location for the late nights! Located on Oahu's North Shore, about an hour and fifteen minutes from Waikiki, Sunset Ranch is a private 30-acre estate known for its wide-open views, peaceful setting, and commitment to land conservation. The property offers a true escape from the busier resort areas, with rolling green pastures, native gardens, and panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding mountains. Couples have exclusive access to the estate for the day, with the flexibility to create a wedding that feels both personal and relaxed. Since there is no on-site lodging, most couples arrange transportation for guests staying at nearby Turtle Bay Resort or further out in Waikiki. I always recommend leaving time in the wedding day schedule to explore the property. The upper lawn, in particular, has beautiful sunset light and is one of my favorite spots for portraits. Sunset Ranch is an ideal choice for couples who want an outdoor celebration with privacy and intention, surrounded by the island's natural beauty. Loulu Palm is a private beachfront estate on Oahu's North Shore, just a few minutes from Turtle Bay Resort. It's a favorite for couples that want an intimate, relaxed wedding in a beautiful, natural setting. The property includes a historic home with a charming bridal suite, expansive lawns shaded by native palms, and a secluded stretch of beach reserved for the celebration. While all beaches in Hawaii are public, there is no nearby public access to this particular stretch of beach, which makes it feel exceptionally private — perfect for couples who want an immersive experience with their guests. Many couples and their guests stay at Turtle Bay for convenience, then host their ceremony and reception at Loulu Palm to enjoy exclusive use of the estate. The layout here flows naturally from lawn to beach, creating an easygoing atmosphere throughout the day. The sunset light along the beachfront is especially beautiful, and I always recommend leaving time for portraits as the light softens. The privacy of the property allows couples to be fully present in the moment, making Loulu Palm an ideal choice for those who value natural beauty and an authentic island feel. For animal lovers like myself, they also have a resident parrot that loves to greet guests, and some pygmy goats that are full of charm. From iconic resorts to private estates, Oahu offers an incredible range of wedding venues to fit every style of celebration. Whether you're drawn to the island for its natural beauty, rich cultural history, or laid-back luxury, these venues create unforgettable experiences for couples and their guests. With options for multi-day wedding weekends, intimate beachfront gatherings, and everything in between, Oahu continues to inspire destination weddings filled with meaning, beauty, and a true sense of place.

Adam DeVine Said Zac Efron 'Ghosted' Him After Calling Him 'Out Of The Blue' To Ask If He Could Crash At His House, And People Are Weirded Out
Adam DeVine appeared on the In Depth With Graham Bensinger podcast this week, and he wound up recalling a bizarre interaction with fellow actor Zac Efron. As you might recall, Adam and Zac starred together in the 2016 comedy film Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, alongside Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza. But the on-screen brothers have seemingly drifted apart recently, with Adam claiming on the podcast that for the first time in a couple of years, Zac called him about six months ago to ask a favor. Adam said, 'Zac calls me — hasn't called me in a couple years — and calls me out of the blue. He's on some private island somewhere, and he's like, 'Hey man, I just want to let you know that I miss you.' And I'm like, 'I miss you too, dude. You're a good friend of mine, yada, yada.''' 'He's like, 'You still have that place down by the beach?' And I'm like, 'I do.' And he's like, 'Would it be cool if I came and crashed with you for two weeks?' And I'm like, 'Uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, come stay with me,'' Adam said. 'And he's like, 'All right, I'm going to call you tomorrow to get all the details, and then I'll be there early next week, OK?' And then you'll send me the address and all that,'' Adam added. Adam then said that he told his wife, Chloe Bridges, that they were set to have some company for a while. 'I'm like, 'Chloe, I think Zac's going to come live here for a couple weeks. I don't know.' And she's like, 'OK, yeah, I guess so,'' he recalled. However, Adam said that Zac never showed up — and never explained why. 'And then he ghosted me, dude. Never called back. I even texted him like, 'Are you gonna stay here?' And I haven't talked with him since, so I have no idea, dude, no idea,' he claimed. In Depth With Graham Bensinger / Via Reacting to Adam's comments online, several people were pretty weirded out by the entire thing. 'Weird ass thing to do by Zac. Obviously disrespectful but man. How do you go from asking to stay with someone to basically ignoring them with nothing in between lol,' one person wrote. 'This is a really weird story,' someone said, while another user added, 'Zac seems like such a wildcard lol.'

Adam Devine says Zac Efron asked for a place to stay, then mysteriously ghosted him
Adam Devine says Zac Efron asked for a place to stay, then mysteriously ghosted him Show Caption Hide Caption How fatherhood reshaped Adam Devine's fitness routine Adam Devine discusses how fatherhood changed his approach to fitness and nutrition. Adam Devine needs an explanation. The "Workaholics" actor, 41, revealed in an interview on "In Depth With Graham Bensinger" that his "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" co-star Zac Efron mysteriously ghosted him just after asking him for a place to stay for two weeks. Devine told Bensinger that about six months ago, the "High School Musical" star called him "out of the blue" for the first time in a few years and told him that he misses him. "He's like, 'Um, you still have that place down by the beach?' And I'm like, 'I do,'" Devine said. "He's like, 'Would it be cool if I came and crashed with you for two weeks?' I'm like, 'Uh, yeah, sure, come stay with me.' He's like, 'Alright, I'm gonna call you tomorrow to get all the details, and then I'll be there early next week, and then you'll send me the address and all that.' I'm like, 'Alright.'" But according to Devine, Efron never followed up to get the details, and that phone call is the last time they've spoken. Adam DeVine reveals he is 'constantly' being grabbed after performances and he's fed up "He ghosted me, dude," Devine said. "Never called back. I even texted him like, 'Are you gonna stay here?' Haven't talked with him since. So I have no idea, dude. No idea." USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Efron. Adam Devine calls Pierce Brosnan a 'great kisser' after smooch in Netflix's 'The Out-Laws' Efron and Devine starred as brothers in "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," a 2016 comedy where their characters place an ad looking for dates to accompany them to their sister's wedding. Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza also starred. Devine told Bensinger that he, Efron, Kendrick and Plaza are still on a text chain together, where they'll sometimes share stories about running into people who are fans of the film. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2016, Devine said that he and Efron "really clicked" starting from their "rehearsal-slash-brother-bonding time" while working on "Mike and Dave." "It sort of pisses me off how great of a guy he is on top of being America's handsome prince," he added. More than two years after the film's release, Devine shared a photo from the set in a 2018 Instagram post wishing a happy birthday to "my main man Z bone," calling Efron "my brother in flexed arms."

Mike (Adam DeVine) and Dave (Zac Efron) constantly ruin their family's gatherings. With their sister's wedding approaching, the family gives the boys an ultimatum: they must bring dates. However, Anthony is oblivious to Rosemary's actions. When he finally plans to propose to Rosemary, Anthony loses the ring.
