Eight terrorists killed in K-P anti-terror operations: ISPR
"An intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted by the Security Forces in general area Mir Ali, North Waziristan District. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khawarij location and resultantly, three Khwarij were sent to hell," the ISPR news release stated.
In another IBO, conducted in South Waziristan District, two khwarij were successfully neutralised by the security forces.
"However, during intense fire exchange, one brave son of soil, Naik Mujahid Khan (age: 40 years, resident of District Kohat) having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat," the ISPR added.
Meanwhile, two more engagements took place between own troops and khawarij in Khyber and Bannu districts, resulting in killing of three khawarij.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed khawarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians.
"Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve," the press release added.

Following the incident, the victim's relatives and local citizens reached the main gate of the Brigade Headquarters this morning to protest. The protesters shouted slogans against the incident and set a dispensary on fire. In the meanwhile, the shooting broke out in which three people died on the spot. Later two more injured succumbed to their wounds while on way to a hospital. Police sources said that 17 injured were taken to a local hospital but six of them were later shifted to Peshawar hospitals and seven to Orakzai district. Fifteen injured were identified as Ajmal, Abdul Halim, Ayub Khan, Siraj, Jartaj, Baitullah, Aamir Hassan, Rehmanullah, Muhammad Sadiq, Nazar Muhammad and Abu Bakar — all residents of Zakhakhel — Khan Zeb and Muhammad Javed of Shlobar; and Sher Zaman, Qasim, and Saeed Khan of Malk Din Khel. Later, the tribal elders met with security officials and presented their demands: case against those involved in the death of the girl; vacation of the occupied houses of local citizens, end to unnecessary harassment at the security check posts and financial assistance to the families of the deceased. The security forces' agreed to Rs1.5 million compensation to the families of each deceased and Rs200,000 assistance to each injured. After a partial agreement on the demands, the protesters ended the protest, and the situation started to return to normalcy. In Islamabad, meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief over the martyrdom of innocent and peaceful citizens due to the firing from Fitna al-Khawarij and directed the authorities concerned to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured. K-P Chief Minister Gandapur also expressed deep sorrow and grief over the Tirah incident and announced financial assistance of Rs10 million for the heirs of each deceased and Rs2.5 million for each injured, according to an Express News report. The chief minister called a Peshawar Jirga, consisting of tribal elders and public representatives so that local sentiments and concerns could be heard. He directed the district administration and the institutions to strengthen public communication and maintain order. Gandapur said that a series of jirgas of tribal elders would start from next week at the divisional and then provincial levels. Three Indian-sponsored terrorists killed in Swat: CTD
In a joint counter-terrorism operation, the Swat police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) killed three key operatives of Fitna al-Khawarij a group identified as an Indian proxy, including a high-value target with a bounty of Rs2 million on Saturday, Express News reported. According to the CTD, the terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and the killings of police personnel. Among the deceased was Ajmal alias Waqas, accused of murdering members of a Village Defence Council and listed as a most-wanted terrorist. The second suspect was identified as Matiullah, also known as Ishaq and Junaid. The third slain terrorist was Rahimullah Rehmani, also known as Rohullah. The CTD stated that the terrorists were also linked to IED attacks, extortion cases, and were part of a network receiving foreign funding to spread terror in the region. Regional Police Officer Sher Akbar Khan called the operation a decisive blow to the operational wings of Fitna al-Khawarij in Swat and surrounding areas, affirming continued efforts to eradicate the group. Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General of Police Zulfiqar Hameed praised the CTD and Swat police for the success and stressed that operations against terrorists would be intensified to ensure lasting peace in the province.

IBO in Mastung: Three terrorists killed; major, soldier martyred: ISPR
RAWALPINDI: Security Forces killed three terrorists belonging to Indian Proxy Fitna al Hindustan while a major and solider embraced martyrdom in intelligence based operation (IBO) in Mastung (Balochistan). 'During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location and resultantly, three terrorists were sent to hell,' said a news release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) here Thursday. However, during the intense fire exchange, Major Zeeyyad Salim Awal (age: 31 years, resident of District Khushab), a brave officer who was leading his troops from the front, fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat along with another brave son of soil Sepoy Nazam Hussain (age: 22 years, resident of District Jhelum). 'Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of Indian Sponsored Terrorism from the country, and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve,' it further said.
