In partnership with Tourism Western Australia, this special Home and Away event will see the show trade the familiar sands of Summer Bay for the vast and varied landscapes of WA – from cosmopolitan Perth to its rugged coastline and expansive red outback.
Filming will take place in October at several locations across the state.
While storyline and casting details are being kept tightly under wraps, producers promise that Western Australia will take centre stage.
'Our cast and crew are beyond excited to be filming in Western Australia – a first for Home and Away,' Home and Away Series Producer, Lucy Addario, said.
'Its awe-inspiring beauty, diverse landscapes and sheer scale make it the perfect backdrop for this huge storyline.
'Working with the Tourism Western Australia team has been an absolute joy and we can't wait for audiences to fall in love with WA like we have.'
The special Home and Away event will premiere in 2026 on Seven and 7plus.
It comes after it was revealed that Home and Away is losing yet another beloved character, leading fans to wonder whether it may be the next soapie to leave screens.

After news broke that Juliet Godwin is saying goodbye to the beloved Aussie series, rumours are circulating that another cast member is eyeing the door.
According to reports, Matt Evans, who plays Theo Poulos in the series, is set to leave Summer Bay.
Matt, 28, has been a regular feature on the show for three and a half years.
The news of Matt's potential exit from the show points to a larger problem in the soapie sphere: could Home and Away be the next TV series to get the axe?
Neighbours made headlines in February after it was revealed the show would be leaving screens a second time around, less than two years after it was first revived.
The final ever episode will air at the end of 2025, with fans forced to say goodbye to Ramsay Street.

Nova stars Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald and Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli reveal their show may soon be cancelled - following Kate Ritchie's departure: 'We've got to hang up the mic'
Nova radio stars Michael 'Wippa' Wipfli and Ryan 'Fitzy' Fitzgerald have hinted their long-running breakfast show may be coming to an end. Fitzy, 48, made the shock admission on their show on Tuesday morning, saying the co-hosts' contracts with Nova may not be renewed by the end of the year. During a discussion about the program's future, Fitzy said: 'I don't think they are being renewed. I'm gonna miss it, but we gotta hang up the mic at some stage.' The long-running breakfast show premiered in January 2011, with actress Kate Ritchie joining the programme as co-host in March 2023. Daily Mail has reached out to Nova Entertainment for comment. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Fitzy and Wippa, 45, have been without their co-host Kate, 46, since the start of the year after she took time off to deal with personal issues. Despite Kate not appearing on the show since late January, it is still promoted as Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie on Nova's website and social media. Last month, a segment on the program fuelled more speculation the Home and Away star was not returning to the show. Fitzy and Wippa shared some details about their annual Singles Party, but there was one glaring omission. The duo revealed they would host the ball for the singles of Sydney, but made no mention of whether their absent co-star Kate would be attending. 'It's back, Fitzy, Wippa and Kate Ritchie's Singles Party returns! One night, one room, 100 chances to find the one,' a promo played on the station said. Co-host Wippa then chatted to Kate's fill-in presenter Chrissie Swan about the event, and said it would be a great night aboard a luxurious yacht on Sydney Harbour. 'Chrissie, last year you weren't even there! You are not going to believe it, before the Slow Dance took place, a couple already held hands and wandered off because they were having such a good time together,' Wippa began. 'This is the power of the Singles Party and it is back again for 2025, bigger and better!' Veteran presenter Fitzy then jumped in to discuss how diverse the event would be, but failed to mention if Kate would be attending. There has been ongoing speculation over when she'll return to co-host Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie on Nova 96.9 following her sudden departure in January after a troubling public incident in a Sydney park. Kate's Instagram bio doesn't mention Nova anymore; instead she is simply 'actor, radio and broadcaster', which may point to her making a quiet exit. Kate has been receiving ongoing support at a rehabilitation facility since the incident, which saw her photographed in tears and appearing visibly distressed shortly after picking up daughter Mae from school. At the time of Kate's departure, Nova's co-hosts had promised their audience the absent Kate would return after one day off, but that timeline was soon dropped. Nova has remained tight-lipped on any potential comeback date and did not respond to questions about whether the embattled star had continued to receive pay during her absence.

Tributes have flooded in for legendary Australian singer Doug De Kroo, who died aged 84 this week at a regional NSW hospital, after a short battle with pneumonia. The Perth-born singer was one half of the iconic Aussie '60s vocal group The De Kroo Brothers, who enjoyed enormous success across the country. His death was confirmed on Tuesday in a statement from Australian band The Road Runners. 'It is with extreme sadness to let everyone know that legendary rocker Doug De Kroo passed away on Monday from complications of pneumonia at Bellingen Hospital,' the statement began. They added De Kroo's legacy would live on through his incredible music. 'His music with The De Kroo Brothers will live on not only on the internet but also on the treasured vinyl records they released during the '60s,' they wrote. The performer was born Doug Brewer and took on the stage surname De Kroo to perform alongside his bandmate Leo as The De Kroo Brothers. Their journey began in Perth and flourished in Sydney from 1960 onwards. They quickly made their mark with Columbia Records, releasing their debut single On The Job Too Long in March 1960, followed closely by Loveland. Despite their early efforts, commercial success proved elusive until they joined Festival Records, where their breakthrough hit (And Her Name Was) Scarlet climbed into the Australian Top 10 in September 1963. Their success was boosted by a string of high-profile TV appearances on some of the most popular shows of the day, including Channel Nine's Bandstand, The Graham Kennedy Show and Teen Time. They toured extensively, including supporting Cliff Richard and the Shadows on their Australian and New Zealand tour in 1961. Their music, characterised by an upbeat rockabilly sound, resonated deeply with audiences, cementing their place in the Australian rock 'n' roll scene. Heartbroken fans took to social media to pay tribute to Doug. 'Very sad news. The DeKroo Bros, Australia's answer to The Everly Bros,' one person wrote. 'The music industry has lost an icon today. Condolences to his family,' a second added. Doug De Kroo continued to enrich the local Australian music community until shortly before his passing. He established a music teaching business in Sydney and remained active in various rockabilly groups. His passion for music and dedication to his craft extended well beyond the stage, and his passing marks the end of an incredible chapter in Australian music history. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.

Aussie woman who helped start worldwide hula hoop craze dies: 'She had a wonderful life'
An Australian woman who played a crucial but long-overlooked role in launching the global hula hoop craze has died in California aged 101. Joan Anderson, a former model who once worked alongside Marilyn Monroe, spotted the bamboo rings being used for exercise in Australia in the '50s - and helped introduce the toy to the United States, where it became an international sensation. Her family confirmed her passing in a statement: 'She had a wonderful life and died peacefully, with her family around her. She will be greatly missed.' The Sydney-born model's crucial role in bringing the toy to a worldwide audience began during a visit to her native Australia in 1957. There, she discovered a new sensation sweeping the country - the bamboo exercise rings, which locals jokingly referred to as 'the hoop.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Curious, she brought one back to the United States, where she had moved with her husband, and it quickly caught on. 'Everywhere I would go, everybody was giggling and carrying on and I asked what was going on?' she recalled in an interview. 'They said, "Oh, everyone is doing the hoop, they just love it".' Captivated by its potential, Anderson shared her discovery with her husband Wayne, who in turn introduced it to Arthur Melin, a toy businessman. Together, they named it the 'hula hoop' and a worldwide craze was born. Despite their pivotal contribution, Anderson and her husband were overlooked when Melin patented the toy in 1958 under his company Wham-O. This oversight left Anderson feeling hard done by, reflecting later in life that 'they just ignored us and totally cut us off.' Undeterred by the setback, Anderson's life continued to be marked by remarkable experiences. She modelled in both Australia and the United States, where she crossed paths with Marilyn Monroe during her early days. Heartbroken fans took to social media to pay tribute to Anderson. 'A remarkable story of innovation and dedication, let's take a moment to appreciate Joan's legacy and her contributions to popular culture, she will be deeply missed,' one person wrote. 'Vale Joan. I loved Hula Hoops growing up,' a second added. Her story was chronicled in the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival award-winning documentary Hula Girl. The critically acclaimed film recounted Anderson's pivotal role in bringing the Hula Hoop to a wider audience and finally gave her the recognition she deserved. She is survived by her four children.
