Ground stops, delays issued at JFK, LGA, and EWR: FAA

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Flights are facing major impacts on Monday evening due to weather at John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Newark Liberty International Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
Ground stops were issued at all three airports due to thunderstorms, according to the FAA.

Some arriving flights are seeing delays of over three hours, while departures are experiencing delays of over two hours, according to the FAA's website.
As of Monday evening, some departing flights from Newark have been delayed since approximately 1:30 p.m., according to Flight Tracker.
Due to inclement weather, New York City and parts of New Jersey are also under a flood watch, according to the National Weather Service. The flood watch is from 2 p.m. Monday to midnight Tuesday, officials said.

Flooding causes major delays in Wautoma as downpours & storms persist across Wisconsin

WAUTOMA, Wis. (WFRV) – Heavy storms rolling through the area have caused widespread flooding in Wautoma, prompting travel delays and road closures. According to the Wautoma Police Department, most city roads are flooded, and some vehicles are reportedly stuck in high water. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area if possible until floodwaters recede. Storms are continuing to move through northeast Wisconsin. The latest Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5 In a release from Wautoma Police Chief Paul Mott, he cited that State Highways 21 and 73 were closed around 4:20 p.m. up until roughly 5:03 p.m. as vehicles became stalled in the floodwaters. 'Wautoma Fire Chief Grenier stated this was the worst flooding he's seen since 2001,' Chief Paul Mott said in the release. Local 5 was on the scene and will continue to provide updates as needed.
