July 2 (UPI) -- Olympic gold medalist and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sanya Richards-Ross is now a mother of three.
Richards-Ross, who starred in Seasons 14 and 15 of the Bravo reality series, shared the baby news on Instagram Stories Tuesday.
"He's here!" she wrote over the clip that showed her and 7-year-old son Aaron Jr. in the hospital with the newborn.
She and husband Aaron Ross also share 19-month-old Asani.
The couple announced they were expecting their third child via Instagram in February.
Richards-Ross, 40, said her upcoming birthday was "a lot more than I could have imagined" when she announced the pregnancy.
A week ago, she posted a photo of herself on instagram in a strapless cutout dress, expressing her excitement and gratitude.
"I am officially one week away from experiencing the most beautiful thing a woman's body can do and on this day, with my big ol' belly, I felt beautiful, powerful and strong," she wrote in the caption. "Can't believe this journey is almost over and I get to meet my third little prince for the first time. Thank you for all the love, well wishes and support, especially all of you who acted like this was still my second pregnancy and I was pregnant for 600 weeks. We haven't picked a name yet, but I think this time I'll look at him and know."
She hasn't yet announced the baby's name.

Former Arsenal midfielder Partey charged with rape

File Photo by Adam Vaughan/EPA-EFE July 4 (UPI) -- Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey faces five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault from 2021 to 2022, the Greater London Metropolitan Police announced on Friday. Partey, 32, is scheduled to appear in Westminster Magistrate's Court on Aug. 5 and denies the accusations against him, ESPN reported. Partey "welcomes the opportunity to finally clear his name," defense attorney Jenny Wiltshire told the British Press Association. Partey joined Arsenal after agreeing to a $61.42 million contract in 2020, but the football club ended the contract on Monday due to his legal issues. Club officials declined to comment on the matter and only confirmed he no longer is with the club. Partey is accused of raping two women and sexually assaulting another, the BBC reported. Prosecutors charged him with two counts of rape involving one woman and three counts of rape involving a second woman. Prosecutors also charged him with one count of sexual assault related to a third woman. Law enforcement began investigating Partey after receiving a rape report in February 2022. Partey is from Ghana and scored four goals in 35 appearances during Premier League competition last season. He also appeared 12 times during Arsenal's tournament run in the Champions League before being ousted by Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals.

Oleksiak withdraws from swimming worlds citing whereabouts case with World Aquatics

Canada's Penny Oleksiak has withdrawn from the world aquatics championships due to being in a whereabouts case with World Aquatics, she announced on social media Friday. The 25-year-old Toronto native said 'it does not involve any banned substance' and 'I am and always have been a clean athlete and will be making no further comment at this time.' The world championships are set to begin July 11 and end Aug. 3 in Singapore. Oleksiak received support of her decision from Swimming Canada CEO Suzanne Paulins, who said the organization believes Oleksiak 'is a clean athlete who made an administrative mistake,' in a statement on social media. Paulins did, however, say it was 'disappointing news.' Paulins said athletes are responsible for completing whereabouts and submitting filings on time to comply with anti-doping rules to avoid sanctions. Oleksiak is a seven-time Olympic medallist and nine-time world championship medallist. This report by The Canadian Press was first published July 4, 2025.
