Lil Wayne, 21 Savage and J. Cole will headline Raleigh's 2025 Dreamville Festival
Why it matters: The lineup for Dreamville's finale, which was released Monday less than three weeks before the festival is set to take place, has been long anticipated.
The festival has consistently been one of Raleigh's largest events, regularly bringing around 100,000 visitors to Dorothea Dix Park since it began in 2019.
Driving the news: Lil Wayne will headline the festival's first day, Saturday, April 5, with Hot Boys and Big Tymers. 21 Savage will also perform Saturday night.
J. Cole will headline the festival's second day as he has in years past, along with Erykah Badu and Tems.
Wale, GloRilla, Ari Lennox and BigXthaPlug will also perform at the festival, according to the lineup released by the festival Monday.
What's next: General admission tickets for the two-day festival are available starting at $299.99. Other ticket options are sold out but you can join the waitlist.

Chance The Rapper takes it back to 2016 with new album announcement
Six summers ago, Chance The Rapper released an album detailing how much he loved his wife. Since then, the rapper has maintained a much lower profile than he did in the mid-2010s, probably in large part because that generally well-received album, The Big Day, was meme'd to the point that Chance said it felt like 'people want me to kill myself.' But even if it felt like he had retreated, Chance never really stopped putting out singles in the first half of the 2020s, and now, he's ready to put out his first full-length project since 2019. Star Line, the rapper's second album and fifth major body of work, is out next month. Chance confirmed the news on Instagram today, sharing the album art and writing simply 'For my fans.' Fans will likely find the album art familiar; the painting comes from the artist Brandon Breaux, who created the album art for his acclaimed mixtapes 10 Day and Acid Rap and his mainstream breakthrough Coloring Book. The Big Day, which, in 2019, was technically his debut album, features art from Sara Shakeel instead. The choice to tap Breaux again—and the painted, semi-psychedelic image—suggests that Chance remembers what works, and wants to tap back into some of that mid-2010s sauce that proved so successful. The upbeat, almost Tin Pan Alley-sounding track is exploring how frustrating it can be to live in a country run by and set up to benefit white people, and how he enjoys smoking weed. Embrace debate: What's the best Titans reference in hip-hop history? Lil Wayne has a couple that come to mind: He name-checked Chris Johnson in 'Popular' and Vince Young in 'Dr. Carter.' Inspectah Deck name-checked Jevon Kearse on Wu-Tang Clan's 'Redbull.' Nas evoked Al Del Greco, of all people, on his song for the 'Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle' soundtrack. And there's that kid chasing Andre 3000 while wearing an Eddie George jersey in Outkast's 'B.o.B.' video. For my money, the answer is 'Hand Him The Heisman,' a swaggering relic from Steve McNair's 1994 Heisman Trophy campaign at Alcorn State. The best, most quotable parts of the epic come when the M.C. has some choice words for McNair's competition: 'Rashaan Salaam, can you throw a tight bomb?' 'Eric Zeier, is your name McNair?' 'In the Heisman race, look at Nebraska's fate. Frazier's out, so he can't even participate.' Look: It is the official position of this countdown that McNair should've won the 1994 Heisman. All respect to Salaam, McNair put up 571 yards per game. He accounted for more total offense in 11 games than Joe Burrow did in 15 games in his record-setting 2019 season at LSU. Absolutely robbed. Guess he had to settle for an NFL MVP nine years later. And now, we release the Tennessee Titans' 13th best moment, as ranked by The Tennessean. McNair crafted the NFL equivalent of his Heisman moment on Dec. 21, 2003, at the Houston Texans. Playing through injuries (as always), McNair coughed up an early lead by throwing a 93-yard interception returned for touchdown and watched as the Titans fell behind 24-20 in the final two minutes. McNair threw to the end zone three plays in a row to end the drive, barely missing Justin McCareins on second and third down before connecting with Bennett, and clinching the Titans' fourth playoff berth in five years in the process. Nicki Minaj's 100-Plus Top 10 Smashes Among the three musicians, Minaj claims the most top 10 hits on both charts, and she adds to her historic total with both "Mercy" and "5 Star." The chart-topper has now reached the highest tier on the Rap Digital Song Sales list 102 times and has pushed into the loftiest space on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales ranking 108 times. Wayne has landed 77 and 76 top 10s, respectively, on the same tallies. DJ Drama, meanwhile, has scored just four top 10 smashes on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales list, but his two new bestsellers bring him to a milestone 10 top 10s on the rap-only roster.
