Gaza Government Media Office rejects U.S. claims of 'Alleged Attack' at Aid Distribution Sites

Saba Yemen20 hours ago
Gaza – SABA :
The Government Media Office in Gaza has categorically rejected recent claims by the U.S. State Department alleging that Palestinian resistance forces threw explosives at American personnel at aid distribution centers operated by the so-called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the office described these allegations as false and misleading, serving as a blatant attempt to justify the ongoing killing and starvation of civilians in Gaza. The statement added that the U.S. narrative dangerously aligns with that of the Israeli military, which seeks to legitimize its war crimes through fabricated security justifications for excessive use of force against civilians.
The media office asserted that GHF is not a humanitarian organization, but rather an intelligence front backed by Israeli and American support, responsible for the deaths of 751 civilians and injuries to 4,931 others, in addition to 39 missing persons. These casualties occurred primarily around aid sites placed in high-risk, exposed, and militarized areas, in violation of international humanitarian law and the core principles of neutral and independent humanitarian work.
The statement accused the U.S. administration of attempting to whitewash the reputation of an entity implicated in war crimes and crimes against humanity, especially as over 130 international humanitarian organizations have refused to work with GHF, labeling it a cover for Israeli military operations, based on official assessments by UN and international bodies.
The office emphasized that the accusation against the Palestinian resistance lacks any independent investigation or credible field evidence, and is based solely on biased Israeli reports. It reminded the international community that the real ongoing crime is the deliberate deprivation of 2.4 million people of food, water, and medicine for nearly 22 months, and their targeted killing in so-called aid corridors — all under global observation.
The media office called for the immediate cessation of GHF's operations in Gaza and demanded an independent international investigation into all crimes committed at these so-called aid sites, which it labeled death traps.
Finally, it urged the reactivation of the central role of UN agencies and humanitarian organizations operating under international humanitarian law, free from political or military manipulation of aid.

Hamas condemns ‘Death Traps' operated by Occupation with US cover

Doha – Saba: Hamas strongly condemned on Monday the ongoing crimes by the Zionist occupation against civilians in Gaza, describing the deadly aid system as 'death traps' operated by occupation forces with American backing, leading to daily casualties and exposing the criminal nature of the regime. Hamas called for a return to international mechanisms under UN supervision. The movement denounced the occupation's deliberate targeting of schools and displacement centers, causing dozens of civilian deaths and injuries daily, violating all international laws. It also highlighted repeated air raids on hospitals and medical centers, a systematic attack on Gaza's collapsing health system. In a statement, Hamas criticized the intensified strikes on Gaza's few desalination plants, using thirst alongside hunger as weapons, worsening the humanitarian disaster. The statement blamed war criminal Netanyahu's government for mass killing, siege, and starvation over 21 months, urging the international community and Arab-Islamic nations to act immediately to stop these ongoing crimes. PFLP warns against plan to turn Gaza into investment project

Gaza – Saba: The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) on Monday warned of a dangerous plan to transform Gaza into an investment project built on the ruins of the Palestinian people. The PFLP condemned a scheme, revealed by the Financial Times, led by Zionist businessmen with the Boston Consulting Group and the Tony Blair Foundation. Called "Great Trust," the plan aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause by marketing "economic peace" as a substitute for national rights, uprooting Palestinians through financial incentives, and turning Gaza into an economic zone under Zionist control. Describing the plan as a colonial extension of Netanyahu's vision, the PFLP warned it involves mass displacement and selling Gaza lands to investors to create a "colonial riviera" under the guise of "industrial settlement." The Front urged all Palestinian factions to unite and resist these projects, emphasizing that Gaza is not for sale but an integral part of historic Palestine. It called on international parties to avoid involvement, affirming that the Palestinian people will confront and reject these plans with all their strength.
