Tom Holland, Zendaya's fiancé, among top choices as the next James Bond
Could Spider-Man become the next James Bond? A report says Tom Holland, the fiance of Oakland-born actress and singer Zendaya, is one of Amazon MGM Studios' top three choices to play Agent 007, along with 'Euphoria' star Jacob Elordi and 'Babygirl' actor Harris Dickinson. Holland has played the web-flinging superhero in three films, most recently 2021's ' Spider-Man: No Way Home,' with Zendaya as his love interest in all three films. The pair is supposed to star in a fourth Spidey film, but the movie is still in the planning stages. Amazon and the new Bond producers, Amy Pascal and David Heyman, revealed on Wednesday, June 25, that ' Dune ' franchise director Denis Villeneuve has been tapped to helm the first Bond film since Daniel Craig retired from the role. Because the actor cast as Bond would ideally play the character for 15 years or more, the studio and producers are targeting British actors under the age of 30, Variety reported. Elordi is Australian, but there is a precedent for that: Aussie George Lazenby played the dashing British Secret Service agent in 1969's 'On Her Majesty Secret Service.' Ever since Craig's final Bond film, ' No Time to Die ' (2021), speculation has been rampant about his successor, with former ' Superman ' Henry Cavill, Idris Elba and Aaron Taylor-Johnson often mentioned as top choices. But Cavill is 42, Elba 52 and Taylor-Johnson 35. Craig was 36 when he was cast as the character created by novelist Ian Fleming in the 1950s. He played the role five times, beginning with 'Casino Royale' (2006). He was 51 during the bulk of the filming of 'No Time to Die.' At 5-foot-7, the 29-year-old Holland would become the shortest James Bond; the 6'5' Elordi, 28, would be the tallest. Dickinson, 29, is 6'2'. Amazon acquired the Bond franchise, which began in 1962 and has made nearly $8 billion across 25 official films, in 2022 and assumed creative control this year. Sean Connery originated the role in 'Dr. No' and starred in the first six of seven films, coming back for one more film after Lazenby's appearance; followed by Roger Moore (seven films), Timothy Dalton (two), Pierce Brosnan (four) and Craig. Whomever is cast to join this elite bunch won't make his debut for a while. Amazon is targeting a 2028 release at the earliest for the gargantuan production. If it is Holland, could Zendaya be the next Bond girl?

What Fans Really Think About Justin Bieber's New Instagram Handle
Justin Bieber has changed his Instagram handle — and fans are making their feelings known. The pop star, 31, changed his username on Thursday, June 26, from his first and last name to @lilbieber. The two-time Grammy Award winner didn't explain his reasoning for the switch up, simply posting a snap of him playing with his son, Jack Blues, afterward. Fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to weigh in on the new name. 'Only Bieber could make a username switch feel like a cultural reset,' one fan wrote. A second fan commented, 'Name changed, confusion stayed the same.' 'Lol he's so unintentionally funny,' a third fan admitted. Some users felt like the name change is a sign that the 'Baby' singer is trying to venture into a new genre of music. 'I hope he isn't trying to rebrand as a rapper… ' one commenter penned. 'lilbieber sounds like his rap career from an alternate universe,' another pointed out. Justin's new username comes amid his ongoing posting spree on the social media platform as concerns about his well-being from fans continue to mount. On June 16, Justin shared a candid post about his emotional struggles, writing, 'People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already? 'I know I'm broken. I know I have anger issues. I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry.' A few days prior, the 'Sorry' hitmaker went off on paparazzi outside Soho House in Malibu, telling them, 'It's not clocking to you that I'm standing on business, is it?' The encounter has since gone viral on social media. As Star reported earlier this week, those close to Justin are very worried about him. 'Everyone in Justin's world is deeply concerned about his behavior. It's as unpredictable and worrisome as it's ever been,' the insider shared. 'It seems inevitable he'll need to seek help and do so fast. The path he's currently on is toxic and totally untenable.' Additionally, another source told Star earlier this month that Justin's wife, Hailey Bieber, 'needs Justin to be her partner, not another responsibility.' Back in February, Justin's rep quashed reports that he was using hard drugs, telling TMZ that the rumors about him are 'exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.'
