Anton Du Beke says 'it's the most hideous thing' after disagreement with wife
Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke disagreed with wife Hannah Summers over the "most hideous thing in the world". The pair first crossed paths at a golf club event back in 2012.
Anton has previously shared that Hannah initially found him "weird" as he made a "terrible" first impression. Despite this rocky start, Anton charmed her by offering to buy her a drink, and their romance blossomed from there.
Now proud parents to twins George and Henrietta, Anton, who has been a staple on Strictly since 2004, confesses that holiday preferences can be a bone of contention between them.
Speaking on the My Time Capsule podcast, Anton explained: "My wife loves a Winnebago, she loves a campervan, she has these idyllic images of going somewhere in a motorhome on holiday, driving. I think it's the most hideous thing in the world, I say, 'Why don't we just go stay in a hotel?'
"You have to pee in the back of a bus. Just go and stay in a hotel. Off we go, let's just see where we pitch up, probably stuck down a country lane because we can't turn the bloody thing around."

He went on to say: "I think we would have to go somewhere with big roads, probably end up going to America or something, probably just driving somewhere. I'd love to go up and down the UK but the roads are too small, you'd end up going up and down the M6."
Anton spoke warmly about his family, saying they are "something I can't live without". Anton, who's been a Strictly staple since joining in 2004 with dance partner Erin Boag, reflected on their initial thoughts that the show might just last a series before they'd go back to competing.
Having been 14th in the world at ballroom dancing, they made the transition from competition to television.

After two series, he and Erin hung up their competitive dancing shoes to concentrate on Strictly, with Erin bowing out in 2012 and Anton remaining. He saw a new chapter begin as he stepped onto the judging panel in 2021, taking up the role alongside Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood, and Shirley Ballas.
When the BBC announced his new position, Anton couldn't hide his excitement: "My loves I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to be stepping into Bruno's brogues for the next series of Strictly."
He pledged to be more lenient than any judges had ever been with him: "It's a dream come true to be judging alongside the best of the best and I promise to be kinder to all the couples than any of them have ever been to me."
Bruno, who Anton was replacing, couldn't resist a cheeky comment, nicknaming Anton "Mr Strictly" and expressing his eagerness to see how he would do, jokingly adding: "Whilst I am gutted to not be on the show this year, there is one person and one person only that could take my place - it's just a shame they weren't available...haha! Darlings I'm kidding, I'm kidding!
"Seriously though, I have to tell you, Anton is Mr Strictly and if anybody is filling in for me, it has to be him. I honestly wouldn't have it any other way and I am so excited to see him waggle his paddle."

Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views across various social media platforms. But an investigation was reportedly triggered by one of her most shared videos, where Linda performs in a cabaret in a traditional belly dancing costume. The Cairo prosecutor's office accuses the young woman of having "used seduction techniques and provocative dances to incite vice". According to authorities' report, in some videos Linda "deliberately wore provocative clothing and performed dance movements with sexual allusions" They say she therefore disrespected "public decency" and the "values of family and society". Investigators also argued the artist "appeared in indecent clothing, deliberately exposing sensitive areas of her body, in clear violation of social values". She denies all the charges against her and claims she practices her profession in compliance with the law. The dancer said after being arrested: "I have the permits to practice my activity and all the videos circulating on social media are normal. "It is a permitted dance performance and does not contain anything that violates or goes against public morals." Irish TD Paul Murphy detained in Egypt and passport confiscated after bus stopped amid March to Gaza She added that the content she records is "only for entertainment purposes". Whilst belly dancing isn't prohibited in Egypt, videos on social media have to comply with the country's values. Egypt has increased its cruel crackdowns on artists and influences accused of offending public morals. Under Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's government, at least five belly dancers have been horrifically jailed on charges similar to those given to Linda. The Pharaoh nation sucks in a staggering 18 million tourists each year, and the industry props up around 10 per cent of the whole economy. But beyond the plush resorts of the popular Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada - Egypt is covering up its dark underbelly. The country's brutal police force deals in bribes and locks people up on bogus charges, including Brit holidaymakers. Egypt's picture-postcard image is being tested, with a former British ambassador to the country recently branding it a "police state". 5 Videos of her performing in popular clubs to various Egyptian hit songs have garnered millions of views Credit: Instagram

Former the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards has been married to Aaron Phypers for almost seven years and he's said to have filed for divorce this week Former the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Aaron Phypers has reportedly filed for divorce from Denise Richards this week. He's been married to the actor for more than six year but they are now said to have separated recently. Denise, 54 - who played 'Bond girl' Christmas Jones in the James Bond film the World Is Not Enough (1999) - began her relationship with Aaron, 52, back in 2017. The couple married the following year, months after their engagement. Aaron's now said to have filed for divorce in Los Angeles today, just two months before their seventh wedding anniversary. It's been reported that he has cited "irreconcilable differences" and lists July 4 as the date of their separation. TMZ reports that according to court documents, obtained by the outlet, he's seeking spousal support from Denise and reportedly has no income of his own. It adds that Aaron estimates that his wife is grossing over $250,000 a month - around £185,000 - from OnlyFans, TV, brand deals and appearances. Their monthly spending is said to include $20K on clothes and $15K on eating out, which is around £15,000 and £11,000 respectively. This Morning's Vanessa Feltz makes sad admission after split from partner
This Morning star Vanessa Feltz has opened up on life since her split from partner Ben Ofoedu in 2023 This Morning star Vanessa Feltz has made a sad admission after her split from her partner. The 63-year-old broadcaster initially tied the knot with surgeon Michael Kurer back in 1983, before their marriage ended in divorce in 2000. Together they welcomed daughters Allegra and Saskia, and now have four grandchildren. Vanessa later got engaged to musician Ben Ofoedu in 2006. Despite initially planning to wed the following year, the couple remained engaged throughout their time together without getting married. In February 2023, Vanessa revealed that she and Ben had called time on their relationship. Shortly after their separation, Vanessa opened up on This Morning about coping with the split, reports Wales Online. "People have been amazing. Absolutely amazing, and of course it helps a lot," she told presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby at the time. "I can't sleep at all, so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the night." She added: "When you have to end a relationship it's very hard. I've had what feels like millions of messages from so, so many people going through it. "I wouldn't want to minimise in any way what it's like when you're heartbroken. It's horrible." More than two years later, Vanessa has provided a fresh insight into her life post-split, where she made a sad admission. During an interview with Radio Times, Vanessa was quizzed about who has control over the television remote in her household. She candidly replied: "I live on my own these days. I've been out every night for two years and five months. "There have only been maybe five nights where it's been me in front of the TV with my dinner on a tray, because I don't want to be at home, eating alone." Vanessa currently presents her self-titled Channel 5 daytime talk show, which was advertised as a rival to ITV favourite Loose Women. Yet, the programme has come under fire recently, racking up nearly 2,000 Ofcom complaints following an episode that sparked controversy over allegedly "misleading" content regarding breastfeeding.
