, restraining him from publicly making remarks on Kannada until the next date of hearing.
The 30th additional city civil and sessions judge passed the order after hearing a suit filed by Kannada Sahitya Parishat through its president Mahesh Joshi.
The court also ordered a summons to Kamal while posting the case to Aug 30 for further consideration.
It may be recalled that Kamal's controversial remarks that Kannada originated from Tamil created controversy, leading to a ban on his film Thug Life in Karnataka as he failed to tender an apology.
