Tyler, The Creator's Entire Catalog Surges Thanks To His Surprise New Album

Forbes3 days ago
Tyler, the Creator's new album Don't Tap the Glass is one of several surprise releases by major musicians in 2025, and one of a handful that became immediate commercial successes. The hip-hop superstar's latest full-length debuts at No. 1 on charts all around the world, including several tallies in the United Kingdom, where he has slowly but steadily been growing his fanbase for years now.
As Don't Tap the Glass becomes a bestseller and a major win on streaming platforms in the U.K., fans have also returned to several of his earlier projects, helping them rise during an exciting frame for the rapper.
Four Tyler, the Creator Albums Chart This Week
At the moment, four of Tyler's projects can be found on the charts in the U.K., and the three collections that aren't Don't Tap the Glass are all climbing. Igor is the big winner of the bunch, as it's the only full-length aside from his latest to appear on several tallies. That full-length pushes upward on the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums charts. It even claims a spot inside the top 10 on the latter.
Tyler, the Creator Owns Four Spaces on One Chart
The Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums chart is the only ranking in the U.K. where all four of Tyler's efforts appear. In addition to Don't Tap the Glass, which opens in first place, and Igor, which sits just a few spaces below the newcomer, at No. 6, both Flower Boy and Call Me If You Get Lost also grow. Those studio releases land side-by-side at Nos. 14 and 15, respectively.
Tyler, the Creator Dominates With Don't Tap the Glass
In addition to opening at No. 1 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Albums ranking, Don't Tap the Glass also manages to conquer the Official Album Sales, Official Physical Albums, and the Official Vinyl Albums chart in the U.K. Tyler just misses out on the highest rung on the main ranking of the most consumed albums in the country, where his surprise project starts off in the runner-up spot. Meanwhile, on the Official Albums Streaming chart, Don't Tap the Glass enters at No. 8.

Prince Andrew and Ex-Wife Sarah Ferguson Spotted for First Time Since Bombshell Book Claims

The former couple were seen driving near Windsor Castle just days after shocking claims about Andrew emerged in a new royal biographyNEED TO KNOW Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson were seen together at Windsor just days after explosive allegations surfaced in a new royal biography Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by Andrew Lownie claims Andrew once got into a physical altercation with Prince Harry A spokesperson for Prince Harry has denied the allegations and confirmed legal action is underway over 'damaging and defamatory' remarksPrince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have been photographed for the first time since explosive allegations about the Duke of York emerged in a new royal biography. On Aug. 3, the former couple, both 65, were seen driving near their longtime home at Royal Lodge in Windsor, appearing pensive and somber. Andrew was behind the wheel with Fergie, as the Duchess of York is affectionately known, seated beside him as they headed toward nearby Windsor Castle for a walk. The former couple, who share daughters Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, divorced in 1996 after a decade of marriage, but remain close. The outing comes just days after the Daily Mail published excerpts from Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York by author Andrew Lownie. The bombshell biography paints a deeply unflattering portrait of Andrew — alleging everything from a violent altercation with Prince Harry to lurid behavior involving convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Among the most headline-making claims: the book alleges that Prince Andrew, 65, and Prince Harry, now 40, got into a heated argument at a family gathering in 2013 that escalated into a physical fight, leaving Andrew with a bloody nose. The excerpt also alleges that Andrew later insulted Meghan Markle behind the scenes, calling her an 'opportunist' and casting doubt on the longevity of the couple's marriage. In response, Prince Harry's spokesperson firmly denied both allegations. "I can confirm neither of those things are true. Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make those comments about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry," the spokesperson told PEOPLE. The Duke of Sussex's team added that legal action is underway "Such are the gross inaccuracies, damaging and defamatory remarks made in the Daily Mail's story, I can confirm a legal letter from Prince Harry's counsel has been sent to the Mail," the spokesperson said. PEOPLE has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment. According to the excerpt, a "heated argument" between Prince Harry and Prince Andrew erupted at a family event in 2013 over "something Andrew said behind Harry's back." The tensions reportedly escalated to the point where 'punches were thrown' and Andrew sustained a bloody nose before the brawl was broken up. In another allegation, Entitled also alleges that Prince Andrew later questioned his nephew's relationship with Meghan, describing her as an "opportunist" and saying the marriage wouldn't last. Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York will be published on Aug. 14. A summary of the text said the book "exposes the secrets and scandals behind their extravagant lives and troubled marriage," chronicling his fall from grace in light of his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. King Charles' younger brother took a seismic step back from working royal duties in November 2019 following a scrutinized interview with BBC's Newsnight about his alleged ties to the late convicted sex offender. In January 2022, the transition was made official when Queen Elizabeth stripped Prince Andrew of his military titles and patronages after he attempted to have Virginia Giuffre's sexual assault lawsuit against him dismissed. The Duke of York has denied any wrongdoing and in February 2022, settled with Giuffre out of court for an undisclosed sum. The Duchess of York has stood by her ex-husband's side through the turmoil and the former couple joined King Charles and other royal family members for church on Easter in April. Calvin Harris Announces the Birth of His First Child & Shares Placenta Photos: ‘My Wife Is a Superhero'

Calvin Harris and his wife, Vick Hope, are celebrating the birth of their first child. The Scottish superstar producer shared the news by posting a photo of himself holding the newborn, a boy named Micah, in an Instagram post Monday (Aug. 4). '20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!' Harris' caption reads. 'My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.' Placenta consumption is not uncommon, with some believing that benefits can include helping new mothers in the postpartum period. This isn't the first time Harris has shared his alternative health habits. Last year, he revealed that he drinks raw egg yolks to stave off jetlag, typically stashing six eggs in his carry-on bag. The comments section on Harris' birth announcement post is naturally buzzing with congrats, with fellow artists including Armin van Buuren, Chris Lake, Sonny Fodera, Kygo and many others chiming in with well wishes. The news follows Harris and Hope getting married in England in 2023. It is the first marriage for both. Meanwhile on the charts, Harris' latest single 'Blessings' is currently in its eleventh week on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs. The song, a collaboration with singer Clementine Douglas, is currently at No. 5, down from its apex position at No. 3. Coldplay's Viral Surge Pushes Multiple Smashes To Never-Before-Seen Peaks

Coldplay is enjoying a remarkable and much-desired resurgence, the kind that most musical acts dream of in this era of virality. What began as a sudden surge for 'Sparks' has spread to several of the band's most beloved hits, and multiple songs soar to new highs on a variety of Billboard rankings — in some cases, years, or even decades, after they were first released. 'Sparks' Hits New Peaks on Five Rankings Weeks after first going viral, 'Sparks' continues to climb. This frame, it returns to the Hot 100 at No. 80, earning a new peak in its second stay on the hugely competitive cut also rises to No. 89 on the Billboard Global 200, its highest position to date, and jumps to No. 17 on the Rock Streaming Songs list. On the Hot Alternative Songs ranking, 'Sparks' improves to No. 9, matching its placement on Alternative Streaming Songs chart. Coldplay's tune sets new personal bests on five separate rosters at the same time – not too shabby for a cut originally released a quarter-century ago. 'Yellow' Advances on Two Billboard Charts 'Yellow' is the only other Coldplay track this week to reach new peaks on more than one ranking. The band's breakout smash lifts to No. 37 on the Billboard Global 200, its best showing throughout its impressive 223-week run on the list of the most consumed tracks all around the planet. At the same time, the cut moves to No. 11 on the Alternative Streaming Songs chart, soaring higher than ever. On the Alternative Digital Song Sales roster, 'Yellow,' an early-career win for Coldplay, reenters at No. 6, just shy of its previous high of No. 4. 'Viva La Vida' and 'The Scientist' Earn Single-Chart Peak Two additional Coldplay staples enjoy upward movement this week, and each claims a new high point on one chart. 'Viva La Vida' reappears on Alternative Digital Song Sales at No. 2, marking a new peak position and almost becoming another leader for the group. Meanwhile, 'The Scientist' climbs to No. 109 on the Billboard Global 200, its loftiest spot yet on that ranking. Other Coldplay Favorites Return or Rise Other tracks by the Grammy-winning band are also enjoying this moment of virality, though they don't establish new peaks, as several other Coldplay cuts do. 'Something Just Like This,' the group's blockbuster collaboration with The Chainsmokers, climbs on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. 'A Sky Full of Stars' reenters the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart at No. 9, while 'Clocks' is back on that same list at No. 10.
