Honor's next phone is a bit too traditional, but it should be very cheap
The entry-level and mid-range segments of the smartphone market are very competitive because of the large number of new devices that are coming out every week. Not only that, but customers are now holding on to their phones for a longer time than in the past.
Honor is one of the many phone makers that are trying to compete with more established brands like Motorola, Samsung and Xiaomi. The newly introduced Honor 400 series is a pure example of how the Chinese company is improving its products in an attempt to gain more market share from the competition.The X-series is Honor's lineup of more affordable smartphones. Despite being cheaper, these phones still offer great value for money and feature a premium look more often than not.
The next phone in the X-series is Honor X6c, a device that hasn't been announced yet. However, several high-resolution renders of the phone have already been leaked, alongside key specs. At first glance, Honor X6c feels like an average, yet very stylish, affordable smartphone, so the success of the phone might come down to whether or not Honor will price this competitively.
Honor X6c | Image credit: YTECHB For tech-savvy, Honor X6c uses a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra processor, which is paired with 6/8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone sports a very decent 6.61-inch TFT LCD display with 1604 x 720 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.As far as the camera is concerned, the report claims the phone comes with a standard dual-camera system that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a much smaller QVGA snapper. There's also a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
Honor X6c is powered by a 5,300 mAh battery with 35W wired charging speed support. The phone will also feature IP64 rating and will ship with Magic OS 9.0 based on Android 15. On paper, Honor X6c feels like a dumbed down version of its bigger brother, Honor X7c, which made its debut on the market back in October. The former has slightly smaller display, battery, and camera, as well as a different chipset.
What sets the Honor X6c apart from the previous model is the AI button on the left side. All in all, the X6c should be more affordable than the X7c judging by the leaked specs. Just for reference, Honor X7c costs around €150, the upcoming model should be even cheaper.

Realme 15 and 15 Pro full specs leak just as the brand confirms more of them
The Realme 15 and Realme 15 Pro are being announced on July 24, and the company is already engaged in a full-on teaser campaign for the duo. That said, so far the focus has primarily been the Pro. He claims the screen size is 6.8", the rear cameras are a 50 MP main and an 8 MP ultrawide, the selfie camera is 50 MP, and there's an optical in-display fingerprint sensor too. The Realme 15 Pro seems to be incredibly similar, but is 0.03mm thicker, and has a 50 MP ultrawide camera, while being powered by the already officially confirmed Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is actually thinner than the Honor Magic V5
Here's a clear case of 'looking too much at spec sheets may not be very productive', especially when we're talking about 0.1mm differences. See, on paper, the Honor Magic V5 in one specific colorway (called Ivory White) is advertised by the brand to be 8.8mm thick when folded. Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7, on the other hand, is 8.9mm thick when folded. So there's a clear winner here, right? A clear "world's thinnest book-style foldable', as it were. Well, not so fast. Place the two side by side and try to balance something off of them, as famed Chinese leaker Ice Universe has done in the video below, and the roles are reversed, as you can see - the Fold7 is clearly the thinner device. There is no accurate measuring tool, but we can still draw a rigorous conclusion: Galaxy Z Fold7 is the thinnest folding mobile phone in the world. Well, it's all about the pre-applied screen protector on the Magic V5, which is not part of the official thickness measurement, but is, well, pre-applied, when you buy the phone, whereas the Samsung doesn't have such a perk. This just goes to show how irrelevant a 0.1mm thickness difference is in real life, despite brands loving to claim things like "world's thinnest" and "world's lightest". So please keep this in mind - you won't feel 0.1mm and you won't feel 1g in real life, thus it only makes sense to make your choice for buying a device based on claims like "world's thinnest" and "world's lightest" if you then want to brag to your friends about your device wearing such a (sometimes very short-lived) crown. In this day and age, a lot of foldables are already thin enough and light enough to be very comfortable to use even when folded, so we'd advise you to make your pick based on other traits they have which you require. The Google Pixel Watch 4 will reportedly use the same old chipset, but will have a bigger battery
Google has abandoned Samsung and is switching to TSMC for future Tensor chipsets – the first, the Tensor G5, will power the Pixel 10 series and is already doing the rounds on Geekbench. The upcoming Pixel Watch 4, however, is not changing chipsets. The latest report is that Google will reuse the same chipset as on the Watch 3 and the Watch 2, the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1. This 2022 chip is fabbed on a 4nm node and has four Cortex-A53 cores. We recently heard that Qualcomm is working on a Snapdragon W6, with one big Cortex- A78 core and four A55 cores, but it seems that Google has no interest in that. Instead, the company may just be biding its time until its custom Tensor chip is ready in time for the Pixel Watch 5. That's what we heard back in late 2024 and the leak indicated that the Tensor chip will have the same 1x A78 + 4x A55 setup as the W6 – that's also the same configuration as the Exynos W1000 that Samsung reused for the Galaxy Watch8 series. Back to the Google Pixel Watch 4. We've seen renders, which pointed to a thicker body – 14.3mm, up from 12.3mm. The latest info indicates that both sizes – the 45mm model code named 'kenari'/FK23 and the 41mm model code named 'meridian'/FME23 – will have larger batteries, which may explain the chunkier build. The Pixel Watch 4 41mm will have a 327mAh battery (+20mAh from the Watch 3 41mm), while the 45mm model will have a 459mAh battery (+39mAh). Those represent +7% and +9% increases, respectively. That's not much considering the W5 Gen 1 chip is not the most efficient around. Charging speeds will be increased too, but no concrete numbers have leaked yet. Besides offering a choice between 41mm and 45mm size, the Pixel Watch 4 will come in Bluetooth and 4G flavors. And it will be available in several colors with different bands ranging from two-tone leather through Active Sport band and to metal mesh bands.
