Victor Alicea-Velez
• Victor Alicea-Velez, 25, whose last known address was in the 1200 block of Cotton Street, Reading, is wanted on an attempted first-degree murder charge.
Reading police said a witness saw Alicea-Velez arguing with the victim in the 1200 block of Cotton Street on May 17. The witness heard gunshots and noticed Alicea-Velez had left. The victim was shot in the chest and taken to Reading Hospital. The victim told police that he argued with Alicea-Velez when Alicea-Velez grabbed a firearm and shot him. Police filed charges on June 16.
He is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 150 pounds.
Jeanelly Arroyo-Santiago
• Jeanelly Arroyo-Santiago, 28, whose last known address was in the 300 block of Lackawanna Street, Reading, is wanted on receiving stolen property and theft by deception charges.
Muhlenberg Township police said Arroyo-Santiago deposited a bad check for $5,700 into her bank account on Sept. 27, 2023. Police said she admitted her role in a fraudulent check-cashing scheme. When police tried to follow up with her, she could not be located. Police filed charges on May 8.
She is described as 5 feet 7 inches and 160 pounds.

El Paso County Sheriff's Office: Woman assaults detective in far East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 63-year-old woman was arrested after she assaulted a detective last week in far East El Paso, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said. The Sheriff's Office says on Wednesday, July 2, a detective with its Criminal Investigations Division was attempting to serve a writ of sequestration at a residence on the 12100 block of Tower Hills Drive. Rosana Lara, 63, then physically assaulted the detective and fled the scene, the Sheriff's Office said. The Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit was able to locate and apprehend Lara on Monday, July 7. She was arrested and charged with assault on a peace officer or judge, the Sheriff's Office said. Lara was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $2,500 bond. Authorities Charge 10 People in Texas Detention Center Shooting
Ten people were charged Tuesday in connection with a Fourth of July shooting of a police officer at a Department of Homeland Security detention center in Texas, as government officials warned of the dangers faced by immigration officials. The U.S. attorney's office for the Northern District of Texas said it was an organized attack with AR-15-style rifles and that anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement graffiti found near or at the scene.
