Cancer lie ‘set to be exposed' after double Coronation Street exit drama
The mechanic was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this year and underwent chemotherapy treatment.
In recent scenes, Kevin got his test results and told Abi Webster (Sally Carman) that while the cancer hadn't spread, he needed another round of chemo.
However, this turned out to be a lie, as Dr Gaddas later congratulated him on being cancer free.
It transpired that Kevin had lied to Abi as he suspected she may leave him if he got good news from the hospital.
He was right to be worried, as Abi had previously admitted to Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) that she planned to ask Kevin for some time apart if he got the all clear.
Believing that Kevin was still ill, Abi parked the idea, and in upcoming scenes the couple are set to go on a weekend away together.
Kevin is still keeping the secret from Abi, but in a recent episode let Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) in on the truth.
In upcoming scenes, Kevin promises Ty that he will come clean to Abi, as soon as they get home from their weekend away. Will he stick to his word?
It isn't just Abi that is in the dark about Kevin's health, and his lies are set to have a wider impact than he intended.
When Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) loses out on No.6 to Carla Connor (Alison King), she decides to up her offer, much to Ronnie Bailey's (Vinta Morgan) horror.
Ronnie begs her to retract her offer, though Debbie refuses to back down, reminding him that she is a successful business woman. More Trending
Desperate to stop Debbie spending beyond their means, Ronnie confides in Kevin that Debbie is determined to buy No.6 to be close to Kevin to support him through his illness.
Instantly feeling guilty, Kevin talks to Debbie, insisting that he doesn't want her to make any rash decisions because of him.

A controversial comedian bagged herself a role on EastEnders after pleading with BBC bosses for a whopping 37 years. Funny woman Shazia Mirza, 50 - who has made jokes about ISIS in the past - has gushed that 'it's an honour' to appear on the soap ahead of her Walford debut. Shazia appeared on Thursday's instalment of the BBC show as a doctor talking to Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) and Peter Beale (Thomas Law) about her son Jimmy's condition Optic Nerve and Chorioretinal coloboma. Little did some know that the star has been desperate to take part in the programme for a number of years. After her debut, she took to Instagram to share a picture of a letter that the Beeb had sent her after applying for a role on the show. It said: 'We get so many young people wanting parts on EastEnders, that it is our policy to have to say no. 'We are obliged to use only Equity members in the making of EastEnders. 'We are sorry we have not been able to assist you, but hope you will continue to enjoy the programme.' The next picture of the post was one of her recently starring in the BBC soap. Shazia wrote on Instagram: '37 years ago I wrote to @BBCEastEnders asking for a part and 37 years later I got one. 'EastEnders is working with advice from the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) on a storyline where Lauren and Peter's son is diagnosed as severely sight impaired. When asked about why she thought young girls were leaving the UK for Syria, she jokingly suggested they were fleeing because they thought the male jihadists were 'a bit of alright'.
