Actress and film producer
Jennifer Love Hewitt
, who rose to fame as a teen star for her role as Julie James in the horror film 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', shared that she has not spoken to her co-star
Sarah Michelle Gellar
since the slasher debuted in 1997, reported Variety.
Despite the lack of communication, Hewitt maintains there are no difference between them.
"I honestly don't even know what that was or how that all came to be," Hewitt said of her rumoured feud with Gellar. "I just think people don't want the narrative to be easy. Why do we always have to be against each other and out for each other?"

She continued, "I haven't seen Sarah. Literally, we've not talked since I saw her at 18 years old when the first movie came out.
That's why it's so funny to me. People were like, 'Say something back' And I'm like, 'What am I going to say? I've not seen her.' On my side, we're good. I have no idea where this is coming from," according to Variety.
Hewitt and Gellar reprised their 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' roles for the 2025 reboot, which was released recently. 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' is a 2025 slasher film directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sam Lansky from a story by Leah McKendrick and Robinson.
It is the fourth instalment in the 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' franchise and the sequel to 'I Still Know What You Did Last Summer' (1998). The film stars Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, and Austin Nichols, with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Brandy from the first two films, respectively, appear in cameos.
Other cast members include Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon and Billy Campbell, according to Variety.

Tanushree Dutta, the OG MeToo whistleblower who shook the Hindi film industry in 2018, has opened up about the emotional video she recently shared on her social media. Tanushree Dutta , the OG MeToo whistleblower, has opened up about the emotional video she recently shared on her social media. In the now-viral clip that she shared on Tuesday, the actress can be seen sobbing and talking about being allegedly "harassed" inside her home. "I am being harassed in my own house. I just called the cops, and they have asked me to come to the police station to lodge a proper complaint. I will probably go tomorrow or the day after. I am not well. I have been harassed so much in the past five years that I have fallen sick," she said in the video. Tanushree has alleged that the video was a result of years of "pain, stress, and fear she faced over the last five years". Speaking to ANI, Tanushree said her video was not a stunt or drama, but a real "emotional response after enduring repeated traumatic events since MeToo allegations in 2018". "First of all, I want to say that it was my emotional response," she said. "A lot of strange things have happened to me in the last five years. After MeToo, serious and dangerous things started happening around me. It took me time to understand that all of this was actually happening to me," she said. "I was in an accident; my brakes failed. There were also attempts to mix something in my food to make me sick. Strange things started happening outside my house too," Tanushree added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 3 & 4 BHK Starts ₹1.65 Cr in Kukatpally Honer Signatis Book Now Undo When asked if anyone from the film industry reached out to help, she said, "I don't have any friends. And when all of this started happening to me, the few contacts I had also disappeared." About people calling her a drama queen after her video, Tanushree said, "People always say such things. They said I was acting in 2008, they said the same in 2018. And who are these people anyway?" She also responded to the accusations that her viral video was a publicity stunt saying, "There are many ways to go viral. I don't need to do all this. I am Tanushree Dutta. Peter Dinklage Debuts Gruesome Mop-Wielding Superhero in The Toxic Avenger Unrated Comic-Con Preview

Peter Dinklage stepped into Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday and unleashed a mop-wielding monster. The Game of Thrones alum stars in The Toxic Avenger Unrated, a bold reboot of the cult 1984 gorefest, and fans were treated to an exclusive first look at the film's unrated carnage. Dinklage plays Winston Gooze, a down-on-his-luck janitor who becomes the disfigured antihero Toxie after a run-in with toxic waste. The panel featured co-stars Elijah Wood, Jacob Tremblay, Taylour Paige, and director Macon Blair, who joined producer Lloyd Kaufman (creator of the original film) to preview what Blair called a 'goopy' yet 'sweet' reimagining. From toxic waste to mutant hero According to People, Dinklage described his decision to take the role as 'an easy yes,' citing Kaufman as a longtime influence. The actor recalled watching the original on Betamax in New Jersey and being captivated by its crude humor and environmental satire. In the reboot, Winston's transformation into Toxie comes via a gruesome chemical accident—a scene partially shown during the panel, with censored violence and bleeped profanity. Though Dinklage lends his voice and mannerisms, he revealed that stunt performer Luisa Guerreiro physically embodied the mutated Toxie in full prosthetics. 'Over 70% of my performance is not me,' Dinklage admitted. 'She studied all my movements like a hawk and does a better me than I do.' Sincerity beneath the slime While the film promises outrageous violence—director Blair teased a practical effect involving a head lodged in a car engine—the panel took a surprisingly earnest turn. Elijah Wood, who plays villain Fritz Garbinger, praised the film's creativity and the emotional thread between Winston and his son Wade, portrayed by Tremblay. The younger actor admitted he had to 'pretend [he] didn't to absolutely love' Dinklage while filming. For Blair, capturing the chaos and charm of the original without copying its plot was key, per Variety. The Toxic Avenger Unrated opens in theaters August 29.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Worldwide Box Office: Pawan Kalyan starrer opens at Rs 60 crore globally, eyes resurgence with OG

Pawan Kalyan's latest outing, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, has begun its box office journey on a low note. The period drama jointly directed by Krrish Jagarlamudi and AM Jyothi Krishna needs to show better growth over the weekend. Hari Hara Veera Mallu debuts with Rs 60 crore globally Bankrolled by Mega Surya Entertainment on a huge budget, Hari Hara Veera Mallu recorded a below-par opening of just Rs 60 crore gross on its opening day at the worldwide box office. The Pawan Kalyan starrer fetched over Rs 50.25 crore from the domestic markets, of which Rs 10 crore was contributed by the premieres. The overseas territories remained numb and could only contribute a disappointing sum of Rs 10 crore on Day 1. Co-starring Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi, Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part One - Sword Vs Spirit needs to show better trends over the remaining three days of the weekend. However, the movie is witnessing a massive drop on its second day. Although it may sustain itself at lower levels, the success of such a huge-budgeted project is now in limbo. What turned out to be a significant concern for the movie is that it opened with mixed to average reviews, which is now reflected in its box office performance. Can Pawan Kalyan make a comeback with OG? Besides the historical drama set in the Mughal period, Pawan Kalyan will be next seen in OG, directed by Sujeeth. While his latest outing is facing criticism for its bland screenplay and VFX shots, fans are extremely excited for his next, OG. Interestingly, OG has many more commercial aspects than Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which might turn out to be the perfect comeback film for Pawan Kalyan. Hari Hara Veera Mallu In Theatres Hari Hara Veera Mallu plays in theatres now. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more such box office updates.
