Emma Heming Willis is preparing for the release of her new book, The Unexpected Journey, which will be released in September. Over the next several weeks, she will be heading out to promote the book and she admits that she's feeling a bit of anxiety for this next phase.
"I've been feeling some trepidation about stepping out to promote this book. Public speaking and being forward-facing don't come naturally to me," Heming Willis captioned an Instagram post on July 5.
"I know it might not seem that way, but the truth is, this is me stepping way out of my comfort zone. Still, when you care deeply about something - when you know your story, tools, lived experience, and the lessons you've learned might help someone else, you speak up," she continued, adding, "Because the causes I care about are bigger than me. And the call to support others is louder than my fear. This book isn't just mine, it's for all of us walking this road."
Heming Willis, 47, is the primary caregiver for Bruce Willis, 70, who has been diagnosed with frototemporal dementia.
Heming Willis received a great deal of support from fans as she embarks on this next part of her book journey.
"I have already ordered this book and can't wait to get it! Currently I'm not a caregiver, but want to be the best supportive friend that I can to a couple of friends who are caregivers," one person wrote.
"You're an inspiration. I hope the takeaways from your book help caregivers in different communities including those dealing with disabilities," someone else said.
"Good for you Emma. Get out there keep doing the right thing for the right reasons. Super proud of you and I hope your proud of yourself also," a third comment read.Bruce Willis' Wife 'Feeling Some Trepidation' Over What Lies Ahead first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 5, 2025

Sarah Michelle Gellar slams rumors of feud with 'fantastic' Jennifer Love Hewitt

Sarah Michelle Gellar is slamming rumors that she is feuding with former costar Jennifer Love Hewitt. After eagle-eyed fans noticed that the '90s teen idols failed to pose for a picture at the July 14 premiere for the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" sequel, the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star dismissed the idea that a rift existed. "For everyone asking - I never got to see @jenniferlovehewitt who is fantastic in the movie. I was inside with my kids when the big carpet happened. And unfortunately JLH didn't come to the after party," Gellar wrote in an Instagram post. "If you have ever been to one of these it's crazy. I sadly didn't get pics with most of the cast," she added. "But that doesn't change how amazing I think they all are. Unfortunately some things happen only in real life and not online." Jennifer Love Hewitt stuns in black dress during rare red carpet appearance USA TODAY reached out to reps for Hewitt for comment. Gellar and Hewitt don't follow one another on Instagram but starred as Helen Shivers and Julie James, respectively, in the original 1997 film as teen targets of a mysterious killer. In the 2025 version (in theaters July 18), Gellar's husband Freddie Prinze Jr. stars opposite Hewitt, and the plot advances nearly 30 years after murders wreaked havoc on the small North Carolina town. Gellar and Prinze, who met while filming the 1997 film, were members of a quasi-Brat Pack in the '90s that included Hewitt. In the new film, new victims (played by Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers and Sarah Pidgeon) are also targeted by a mysterious stalker and seek help from Prinze and Hewitt's characters. At the July 14 premiere, Hewitt turned heads in a rare red-carpet jaunt of the last few years. In a black dress adorned with beads, Hewitt stunned with copper locks, pairing her all-black look with sparkling heels and rings.

'You' star disappointed to be shunned by Emmys: 'I'm not supposed to say it out loud'

The 2025 Emmy nominations are here, and one star is getting real about how it feels to be left off the list. Anna Camp, who starred in dual roles as Raegan and Maddie Lockwood in the final season of Netflix's "You," took to Instagram on July 15, to share her disappointment that she didn't receive an Emmy nomination for the hit series. The show, which stars Penn Badgley as serial killer Joe Goldberg, was snubbed by Emmy voters this year, and received no nominations in major categories throughout its run. "Me reading about the nominations this morning knowing I gave one of the best performances of my life while also trying to be happy for everyone and while also remembering I vowed to stop drinking during the week 🫠," Camp wrote. In the comments of the post, some of the actress' followers applauded her performance and shared their disappointment that the show wasn't recognized. But others criticized her remarks, with one follower accusing her of "bad sportsmanship" and arguing she was being "rude towards your fellow actors" who did receive nominations. Rebel Wilson, Anna Camp reveal wedding fiascos: 'Almost ruined' the day On July 16, Camp shared further thoughts in a follow-up comment. She wrote that she is "very happy for everyone's success" but also "holding space for myself to be a little bummed" about not being nominated. "I feel like I'm not supposed to be a little disappointed or if I am, I'm not supposed say it out loud," she wrote. "Some people think I'm a good actress, some people think I'm terrible. When you start opening up and getting real instead of smiling and nodding through it all it's definitely freeing, but also invites people to criticize you more." The "Bride Hard" star continued: "People want you to be humble, but confident. It's ok to feel multiple emotions at once and it's also ok to express them." "You" debuted in 2018 and aired its final episodes in April, wrapping a five-season run. Based on the show's Emmys track record, Camp was not expected to receive a nomination this year. The 2025 Emmy nominations were instead dominated by shows like "Severance" and "The Penguin," which led the pack with 27 and 24 nods, respectively.
