Sana'a: Women's events mark Imam Al-Hadi's arrival, show solidarity with Gaza
Sana'a – Saba: The Women's Authority in the districts of New Sana'a and Sanhan organized two events commemorating the anniversary of Imam Al-Hadi's (peace be upon him) arrival in Yemen, under the slogan 'Imam of Knowledge and Jihad.' The events emphasized that commemorating Imam Al-Hadi's arrival is an opportunity to draw inspiration from his values of justice and effective leadership. His journey, scholarly contributions, and efforts in establishing justice and confronting tyranny and corruption were highlighted as foundations for a state of truth and fairness. The speakers noted that Imam Al-Hadi arrived during a time of fragmentation and conflict and succeeded in ushering Yemen into a new era of unity, truth, and knowledge—setting a model for the revival of the Muslim nation through the path of the Prophet Muhammad's family (peace be upon them). Following the events—which included chants and artistic segments—women from Sanhan and New Sana'a held two rallies in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in support of Gaza. They condemned the crimes of starvation and murder committed by the Israeli enemy and expressed support for the operations of Yemen's armed forces in backing Gaza. The participants affirmed that the Yemeni people's support for Palestine stems from the path of justice and jihad laid by Imam Al-Hadi (peace be upon him). Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Oman's Grand Mufti calls for protection of aid to Gaza & end to looting
Muscat – Saba: The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, issued a humanitarian appeal on Saturday to international and Islamic organizations to safeguard the aid reaching the Gaza Strip and prevent it from falling into the hands of looters. In a post on the social media platform 'X,' Sheikh Al-Khalili stated: "We appeal to the organizations working to deliver food and medicine to besieged Gaza to take all necessary precautions to prevent this aid from being hijacked by pirates." He warned that these looters "lie in wait to exploit the dire needs of Gaza's people, selling the aid at exorbitant prices that residents cannot afford — benefiting themselves instead of those in desperate need." He continued: 'We urge the international community to intervene decisively to protect the people of Gaza and ensure aid reaches them. We also call on all parties to sever the hands of those pirates who seek to steal this assistance unjustly.' Concluding his statement, the Grand Mufti said: "We especially address Muslims with this appeal — this is a responsibility placed upon their shoulders. They are accountable before God for the suffering and starvation of Gaza's people. They must not turn away from this duty. We also call upon all people of conscience around the world — they are worthy of responding to this cause." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
