Want a Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7? Save big with these top carrier deals

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 are now official, and both devices offer quite a few improvements this year, including design refinements, new software features, and beefier hardware. Of course, neither foldable is particularly cheap, with the Flip 7 starting at $1,099 and the Fold 7 at $1,999.
Are you interested in Samsung's latest but can't quite stomach paying the full price upfront? There are many options, including in-store financing, but the big three carriers offer the lowest upfront costs. With that in mind, let's take a quick look at all the best Flip 7 and Fold 7 deals so far.
T-Mobile offers
T-Mobile's best deal offer isn't too different from the rest. You'll get $1,100 off either device when adding a line or trading in a device in any condition on the Experience More, Experience Beyond, or the Experience More/Beyond for Business plans.
You can also get $600 off any Galaxy Z series smartphone when you add a new line or $500 when you trade in a phone. T-Mobile says most plans are supported here, though it doesn't give a comprehensive list of what that means exactly. At the very least, it should work with the Essentials plan or higher, though it's possible that at least some of the legacy plans are also covered here.
Want a Galaxy Watch 8 as well? You can get it for free ($400 off) when adding a qualifying watch line.
Verizon offers
Verizon is also offering the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7 for $1,100 off, meaning you'll be able to get the Flip 7 for free and the Fold 7 for well under $1,000. Select manufacturer devices will be accepted in any condition or year, though Verizon's best deal requires you to have an Unlimited Ultimate plan.
That's not the only offer here. Flip fans will have the chance to buy a Flip 7 or Fold 7 on an Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan and get another 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 for free with a new line required.
Verizon is also giving away the Galaxy Watch 8 to those who buy a Z Flip 7 or Fold 7 on any myPlan, via monthly bill credits for 36 months. Prefer the Watch 8 Classic? You can upgrade to this option instead for just $5 a month for 36-months on a Verizon device payment plan.
Lastly, Verizon is giving away Google AI Pro for six months with the purchase of a Galaxy Z Flip7 or Z Fold7 on the Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plan. Afterward, you can keep Google AI Pro by adding it as a perk for just $10 a month, which is half what you'd pay if you signed up directly.
AT&T offers
AT&T is offering customers up to $1,100 off on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 or Flip 7 with an eligible trade-in, regardless of its condition. It's also worth noting that you can trade in any Galaxy S, Note, and Z Series regardless of its year or condition.
Most common handsets from Samsung, Apple, and Google should be accepted for trade-in credit, though the exact models and years accepted may vary. For those who've yet to do the math, that brings the price down as low as $899 for the Z Fold 7 or free for the Flip 7.
Even better, you can get the brand new Galaxy Watch 8 or the Tab A9 Plus for just $.99 per month for 36 months, with the purchase of a Z Flip 7 or Fold 7.
Those with an AT&T business account can even get the Z Flip 7 or Fold 7 without a trade-in required, starting at just $199.99 for the Flip 7 and $899.99 for the Fold 7.
Xfinity Mobile
It's not just the big three that offer good deals; some of the prepaid carriers and communications providers offer sharp discounts as well. Xfinity is offering savings of up to $1,100 on the Galaxy Fold 7, Flip 7, or Flip 7 FE with a Premium Unlimited or Unlimited Premium Flex plan with a trade-in.
Don't have a trade-in? Xfinity Mobile is still offering $500 off to anyone picking up a new member of the Galaxy Z family.

Looks like Galaxy S26 Ultra will be upgraded on all fronts but one

Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR A fresh Galaxy S26 leak has revealed details about the Snapdragon chip powering it. A prominent leaker notes that Samsung will source the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chips from TSMC instead of using the ones it is rumored to manufacture itself. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is also rumored to be slimmer and have a bigger display than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. We're still several months away from the official unveiling of the Galaxy S26 series, yet a flurry of leaks and rumors have shaped our expectations from Samsung's upcoming flagship phones. Now, a series of new leaks reveals the specifications of the chipset that will power the Galaxy S26 series, along with the dimensions of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It is widely understood, and obvious, that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S26 series with new and more powerful chipsets. But, reputed leaker Ice Universe has some details to share. In a recent Weibo post, they noted that the Galaxy S26 series will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, set to be released in September 2025. But like other Samsung flagships, the Galaxy S26 is expected to utilize a souped-up 'For Galaxy' variant of the chip, especially made for Samsung. Weibo / Ice Universe Ice Universe now states the chipset's prime core will be clocked at a peak frequency of 4.74GHz. This marks a modest 6% increment over the current generation, which is clocked at 4.47GHz (it's amusing to see the numbers jumbled around, but we hope it's not just for optics!). Notably, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 'For Galaxy' chips have consistently outperformed regular variants that power all other Android flagships. However, this choice of chipset is likely a reflection of Samsung's possible sense of insecurity in its own fabrication process. That is because the leaker adds that Samsung will source chipsets manufactured by TSMC. This is interesting since Samsung itself is rumored to manufacture a cheaper variant of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, which could be reserved for other phone brands that make more affordable flagships. Meanwhile, the existence of Exynos 2600 hasn't been ruled out entirely, but we may not see it powering the non-Ultra Galaxy S26 series in certain regions, as older chips in the lineup have in the past. Perhaps, this is good news for buyers of the Galaxy S26 series, since previous Qualcomm chipsets manufactured by Samsung — Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 being the most recent — have displayed an array of heating and performance issues. These issues resulted in Qualcomm pulling away from Samsung entirely and commissioning TSMC for the entire batch. This time around, Samsung has higher chances of delivering poor yields as it experiments with a 2nm fabrication process, both for the rumored Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 variant and its own Exynos 2600. Curiously, TSMC is expected to stick to a 3nm fab for the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, although it might transition to a 2nm fab for other clients, primarily Apple, sometime in 2026. Galaxy S26 Ultra to get leaner, lose weight Weibo / Ice Universe In addition to information about Samsung's choice of chipsets for the Galaxy S26 series, Ice Universe has also shared information about the dimensions of the Ultra model. In a separate Weibo post, the leaker said the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be slimmer than 8mm. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra measures 8.2mm, so it's worth examining if slicing a few extra millimeters will have any actual benefit to the phone's utility. The slimness is likely an outcome of the minor upgrades allowing for more compact batteries. While Samsung is also rumored to increase the charging speeds to 60W, the battery capacity is expected to remain unchanged at 5,000mAh. The other notable upgrade is a slight reduction in weight, but the leaker did not share the specifics. The phone is also said to have a slightly bigger display with narrower bezels than before. Along with these upgrades, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could also feature an upgraded 200MP, although that rumor emerges from a less reliable source. If that happens, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be an entirely upgraded phone, save for its battery. Got a tip? Talk to us! Email our staff at Email our staff at news@ . Galaxy S26 Ultra charging speed leaks: A big jump (for Samsung)

Ryan Haines / Android Authority TL;DR A leaker has revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could get 60W wired charging speeds. This would be a significant upgrade over previous Samsung Ultra phones, which topped out at 45W. This also comes as the leaker claims the S26 Ultra will maintain a 5,000mAh battery. We recently heard that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could finally get faster wired charging, although we didn't hear about a specific charging speed. However, the same source has now revealed a key detail. Frequent tipster Ice Universe claimed on Weibo that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will get 60W wired charging to go with the previously leaked 5,000mAh battery. Check out the machine-translated screenshot below. This isn't as fast as some rival Android phones, which offer 65W to 120W wired charging. However, it would still be a welcome upgrade as Samsung has used 45W speeds on all its Ultra phones to date. Do you think the Galaxy S26 Ultra needs a charging speed boost? 0 votes Yes, absolutely NaN % No, 45W charging is fine NaN % The 45W-toting Galaxy S25 Ultra reaches a full charge in just under an hour, which isn't too shabby. But this pales in comparison to the OnePlus 13 (80W), which fills its 6,000mAh battery in roughly 30 minutes. Even the $550 Motorola Edge 2024 (68W) takes about 40 minutes to charge its 5,000mAh battery. If other brands are any indication, then I expect Samsung's next Ultra phone to fully charge in 40 to 50 minutes. There's more to charging speeds than peak wattage, though. Many phones offer 80W or even 120W charging, but spend mere seconds at this peak speed before slowing down dramatically. However, Samsung has progressively tuned its 45W phones to spend more time closer to peak speeds. For example, we tested the Galaxy S23 Ultra and found it reached 100% in 57 minutes versus the S22 Ultra's 62 minutes. This boost also improves interstitial charging times, such as time to 25%, 50%, and 75%. Needless to say, I hope Samsung tunes the Galaxy S26 Ultra so it can hold onto near-60W charging speeds for more than a fleeting moment. Got a tip? Talk to us! AT&T's customer guarantee is working, CEO says

This story was originally published on CX Dive. To receive daily news and insights, subscribe to our free daily CX Dive newsletter. Dive Brief: AT&T CEO John Stankey said AT&T Guarantee, which it launched in January, is winning customers and improving satisfaction with the provider. 'Our customers' preferences for being served by one connectivity provider is a key reason we launched the AT&T Guarantee earlier this year,' Stankey said on an earnings call Wednesday. 'Our guarantee is a promise to our customers that we will provide them with the connectivity they depend on, the deals they want and the service they deserve, guaranteed, or we'll make it right.' AT&T saw a boost to its postpaid phone connections. The company added 401,000 net postpaid phone connections in the second quarter, according to an earnings report. Dive Insight: With increasing competition, AT&T highlighted its customer promises and experience initiatives — efforts to keep customers loyal and acquire new ones. That guarantee is resonating with customers, Stankey said. 'For example, since launching the AT&T Guarantee in January, we've seen improved net promoter scores among our wireless and fiber customers following a network event,' he said. 'It's clear that we're winning with customers, and our performance through the first half of the year highlights the returns we're achieving as we accelerate our fiber deployment and complete our wireless network modernization.' As part of the guarantee, AT&T promises customers that if they are routed to technical support assistance, they will speak to an agent within five minutes or they'll be offered the option to schedule a callback. The guarantee also addresses network outages: Fiber customers and wireless customers experiencing network interruptions of at least 20 minutes and at least 60 minutes, respectively, will also receive a bill credit for a full day of service. The wireless provider's revenue followed the growth of postpaid phone additions, rising 3.4% year over year to $30.8 billion. Sign in to access your portfolio
