Lining up primarily as a left defensive end, Ezeiruaku has shown a complex rush attack that is far beyond his years. He's also displayed the ability to set the edge, looking like he's ready to take on a starting role sooner rather than later. Dallas brought back Dante Fowler, who left for a season in Washington, and the expectation was that he'd be starting opposite Parsons, but that may not be the case and if it is may not be for long. The Cowboys also signed Payton Turner, a former first-round pick like Fowler, as veteran depth. They join last year's second rounder Marshawn Kneeland as Parsons' supporting cast. NFLPA elects David White to serve as interim executive director after Lloyd Howell's resignation
The NFLPA has finally elected an interim replacement for Lloyd Howell. The union announced late on Sunday night that it had elected David White to serve as the new interim executive director. White will replace Howell, who resigned last month amid a scandal that rocked the union. White was a finalist for the role in 2023. He is the former national executive director and chief negotiator of the Screen Actors Guild. He's also the CEO of 3CG, and is the board chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. 'I am grateful to the NFLPA's player leadership for entrusting me with the privilege and responsibility to guide their union as interim executive director,' White said in a statement. 'It's a duty I do not take lightly, and I'm committed to re-establishing trust and ensuring the union is serving its members best. 'I look forward to working with the entire NFLPA team to prospect players' health and safety, secure their financial well-being and further strengthen their voice to shape their futures.' 'I felt really, really good, and that's what's important,' Gil said through an interpreter Sunday after giving up five runs in 3 ¹/₃ innings of a 7-3 loss to the Marlins that chased the Yankees away from south Florida as sweep victims. 'If you've got to take something positive from an outing, today health was big, coming back being healthy. But also the movement of the pitches was there.' Gil was pitching for the Yankees for the first time since he started Game 4 of the World Series against the Dodgers on Oct. 29 at Yankee Stadium. The 2024 American League Rookie of the Year had a spring bullpen session cut short with tightness in his right side on Feb. 28.
