Serrano, 36, said: 'We tried something different, it was all about working smarter, not harder.

'Thank you Jake Paul, you've changed my life. Thank you Netflix for showcasing us warriors.
'Thank you Katie Taylor for an incredible 30 rounds, it's been a true honour.'

Nicole Kidman and Anna Wintour shine in star-studded Wimbledon final lineup
Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and Vogue's Anna Wintour lead the stars in center stage in the royal box during Sunday's Wimbledon men's final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner Nicole Kidman and Vogue editor-in-chief Dame Anna Wintour lead the glamour in the royal box at Wimbledon's men's singles final on Sunday, capturing attention as they enjoyed the hotly anticipated match between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Oscar-winning actress Nicole, 58, looked as chic as ever as she modelled a crisp white blazer and shirt, with her new blonde locks styled to perfection. The actress was pictured smiling and laughing as she appeared to be in an engaged conversation with fashionista Wintour, 75, who stayed true to her iconic style with dark oversized sunglasses, a floral-embellished dress, and a bold green statement necklace. The exciting day of tennis attracted a whole host of other notable guests too, including Keira Knightley, who sat nearby Nicole and Anna alongside her husband, James Righton, who is best known as part of the Klaxons. Keira, 40, opted for a clean, belted white ensemble complemented by black sunglasses and a classic pearl necklace. Meanwhile, her husband looked suave as he matched her summer vibe in a cream double-breasted suit and tie. Seated next to the loved-up couple were Irish actors Andrew Scott, 48, and P aul Mescal, 29, who recently starred together in All of Us Strangers. Scott, famed for his roles in Fleabag and Ripley, wore a beige light suit paired with gold-rimmed sunglasses. Meanwhile, Normal People star Paul, who is also widely known for Gladiator II, added a splash of colour with a patterned tie over a white shirt and dark navy jacket. The famous friends appeared to be having a great time as they were pictured laughing together and chatting with Kiera as they watched the match between Alcaraz and Sinner. Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey also made an appearance at the Grand Finale at Wimbledon today as he was seen laughing while chatting to legend Andre Agassi as he walked into the Royal Box. The How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days star, 55, was all smiles as he lapped up the sunshine centre court while dressed in a suave white three-piece suit complete with a green patterned tie. Matthew was joined by acting royalty John Lithgow as he took his seat at the event. Among the royal attendees were Peep Show's Sophie Winkleman and her husband, Lord Frederick Windsor, the latter being a son of Prince Michael of Kent. Sophie, who is officially styled as Lady Frederick, looked elegant as she modelled a vibrant green sleeveless printed dress as they arrived for the day's matches. Elsewhere, Kensington Palace confirmed the Prince and Princess of Wales would also attend the final. Kate Middleton, 43, patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, received a standing ovation on Saturday when she presented the women's singles trophy to Iga Swiatek, highlighting her continuing support for the tournament. On Sunday, Kate looked gorgeous in a royal blue dress as she attended the Wimbledon final with her husband, Prince William and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Last year, Kate presented the Wimbledon men's final trophy to Alcaraz in her second public engagement since she announced her cancer diagnosis. And it was another scorcher today for attendees as temperatures climbed to 27°C in southwest London as excitement built for the match that would close out two weeks of thrilling tennis action. The royal box was full of excitement as it set the scene for a memorable finale between Spain's defending champion Alcaraz and Italy's world number one Sinner.

Conor Bradley scores first Liverpool goal since Jota death after perfect tribute
Conor Bradley fired home the opening goal of the game at Deepdale after Preston North End and Liverpool had come together to pay tribute to Diogo Jota Conor Bradley offered a muted reaction after scoring Liverpool's first goal since the death of the Northern Irishman's good friend Diogo Jota. Right-back Bradley was on hand to turn home from close range after good work from Rio Ngumoha and Federico Chiesa in the first half of the Reds' opening pre-season game of the campaign at Preston, where emotional tributes were paid to Jota before the match. After scoring Bradley then turned away and looked to the heavens, before turning to embrace the rest of his team-mates. Liverpool's players had gathered in the centre circle for a minute's silence prior to the match, while Preston had produced a special free matchday programme in honour of both Jota and his brother Andre, and performances of Preston anthem 'Can't Help Falling In Love' and Liverpool's 'You'll Never Walk Alone' were sang before the game. Bradley was one of Jota's closer friends within the Liverpool squad, and he attended the Cheltenham Festival alongside Jota, Scottish defender Andy Robertson and Irish goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher in March. Due to Jota's enjoyment of sports such as horse racing, Robertson, Kelleher and Bradley would often joke that he was more Scottish or Irish than Portuguese. Writing on Instagram after Jota's death, Bradley said: "Where do I start what an incredible footballer but an even better person I feel really lucky to have spent a few years with you. "Was always nice coming into the changing room in the morning and seeing you smiling and laughing and consistently calling me a hanger. "Always remember the first time you invited me to your room to play FIFA I think everyone knows where this is going, we was playing and by half time I'm pretty sure I was 5-0 down that was the last time I was ever falling into that trap. "When I first moved up from the academy you were always there for me and always helped me settle in with the lads which I'll be forever grateful for. "My thoughts are with your wife, children and family for losing both Diogo and Andre. I can't imagine how tough this is for you all, as I know how tough this feels for me today. Love you jots and I'm sure we will meet again." Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. They have been joined by two of their three children - George, 11, and Charlotte, 10 - for the marathon match. Tennis-mad Charlotte also appeared at the final last year alongside Kate, which was one of the royal's first public engagements following her cancer diagnosis. Sports-loving George, often spotted at England and Aston Villa footy games with dad William, is also back for the first time in two years. The family were all smiles as they arrived together ahead of the final and were introduced to a special greeting party near the players' lounge. Kate wore a sleek blue dress with a necklace while William donned a smart double-breasted navy suit, complete with matching tie and pocket square. Prince George was also kitted out in a smart suit and tie for the grand occasion. The family first talked with men's doubles winners Julian Cash and Lewis Glasspool, who became the first all-Brit pair to take the top prize in 89 years on Saturday. Cash, who banked £680,000 with Glasspool for his historic win, was congratulated by both royals. Princess Kate appeared to tell them they had done well to battle the 29C heat as well as their opponents. Princess Kate beams as she hands over Wimbledon trophy to women's final winner & then consoles runner-up after thrashing She said: "Well done... how does it feel? It was so hot." Cash replied: "It was good, but pretty stressful." The royal then introduced the players to George and Charlotte, who were standing by her side. In a hilarious moment, Cash, 28, asked the young prince if he was "any good" at tennis, to which George replied: "I'm alright." The family then spoke to a ball girl and a ball girl, before meeting inspirational 11-year-old Ambrose Caldecott, who was chosen to do the coin toss for the men's final. Ambrose, who is battling bone cancer and has undergone chemotherapy, emotionally shook hands with Kate – who was diagnosed with the disease last January and also underwent the treatment. After greeting Ambrose and asking how he was, the boy told Kate about his diagnosis and treatment. The royal asked: 'How are you finding your treatment?' The boy said: 'A lot better, I'm on the mend.' Kate then praised Ambrose, appearing to say: 'It's tough… You're so brave'. After being told the boy would be doing the coin toss for the final, she added: 'Good luck today. We'll be cheering you on.' The boy talked with the royals for more than a minute before they moved down the line, before crossing the bridge to a massive cheer from the crowd below. They also met TV star and explorer Steve Backshall who, after being told by the royals that both kids knew his shows, appeared to joke: "I can only apologise." The family will take centre stage at the front row of the Royal Box, surrounded by other famous faces such as actors Nicole Kidman, Andrew Scott, and Matthew McConaughey. 6 Princess Kate dazzled Centre Court yesterday as she watched the women's singles final Credit: AP 6 The Princess of Wales awarded the Venus Rosewater Dish to Pole Iga Swiatek, who defeated American Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 in just 57 minutes on Saturday afternoon Credit: Getty Wills' appearance marks his first back at the All England Club since 2022. King Felipe VI of Spain will also be in attendance to support Alcaraz alongside a number of former Wimbledon champions including Chris Evert, Andre Agassi, and Lleyton Hewitt. From the royal family, Princess Michael of Kent is also in the Royal Box, sitting alongside Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor. Kate was in attendance for the women's singles final yesterday, which saw Pole Iga Swiatek destroy American Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 in the most one-sided Wimbledon final for more than a century. The princess - who is a patron of the All England Club - received a huge standing ovation from the crowd as she returned to the ladies' singles final for the first time in two years. Swiatek was presented with the Venus Rosewater Dish by a smiling Kate before the princess then consoled runner-up Amanda Anisimova, who was visibly upset by the loss. The American left the court immediately after the match in tears, while the audience gave her a standing ovation. Today will mark the first time in two years that the family have come to Wimbledon together - and they couldn't have picked a more exciting day for it. Finalists Sinner and Alcaraz have been a cut above their competitors this year, having shared the last six grand slams between themselves. Alcaraz has not lost at Wimbledon since 2022, where he was defeated by none other than Sinner in the fourth round. A victory today would see the Spaniard secure three consecutive titles, while for Sinner it would be his first at the All England Club. During Kate's attendance yesterday, the princess met a string of inspirational children, players and volunteers, including Lydia Lowe, eight, who told the royal: 'Don't be nervous.' She also met Sophie Kneen, 12, who performed the coin toss for the ladies' final, as well as Wimbledon's longest-serving steward Bob Flint, who has worked at the Championships every year since 1980. Just like yesterday, Kate will also present the trophy to the men's winner. Alcaraz and Sinner's meeting today, their 13th overall, comes just weeks after their epic French Open final, which the Spaniard won after fighting back from two sets to love down in a thrilling five hour 29 minute contest.
