This time around, it was a majority verdict back at New York's Madison Square Garden where the rivalry began.
Final punch stats revealed by Netflix showed that both landed 70 punches each throughout the ten rounds.
Serrano threw 382 compared to Taylor's 231 but the Irish icon landed 57 of her power shots while her great rival scored with 49.
In terms of jabs, Taylor threw 94 and landed with 13 compared to Serrano's 217 thrown and 21 connecting.

The scorecards read 95-95 and 97-93 twice with Taylor closing out the rivalry in decisive fashion.
Taylor, 39, said: "I just want to thank Amanda Serrano as well, what an amazing fighter, we've made history here.
'I thought I boxed very smart, very well. She wasn't catching me with much.
'It was obviously very, very close. Just thank God my hand was raised. I planned to come in here and be disciplined and smart.

Serrano, 36, said: 'We tried something different, it was all about working smarter, not harder.
'I tried to keep my distance because apparently it didn't worth the first two fights. So we tried to stick with the long punches and it just wasn't enough.
'I don't know, I have to go back and watch it. My team told me they think I won, I'm going to believe what they tell me.
'I was really trying to apply what they were telling me. I really want to support every single one of you for coming out and supporting me and women's boxing.
'What an amazing night for all of us women. I'm crying at the support, thanks to all of you.
'Thank you Jake Paul, you've changed my life. Thank you Netflix for showcasing us warriors.

Conor Bradley fired home the opening goal of the game at Deepdale after Preston North End and Liverpool had come together to pay tribute to Diogo Jota Conor Bradley offered a muted reaction after scoring Liverpool's first goal since the death of the Northern Irishman's good friend Diogo Jota. Right-back Bradley was on hand to turn home from close range after good work from Rio Ngumoha and Federico Chiesa in the first half of the Reds' opening pre-season game of the campaign at Preston, where emotional tributes were paid to Jota before the match. After scoring Bradley then turned away and looked to the heavens, before turning to embrace the rest of his team-mates. They have been joined by two of their three children - George, 11, and Charlotte, 10 - for the marathon match. Tennis-mad Charlotte also appeared at the final last year alongside Kate, which was one of the royal's first public engagements following her cancer diagnosis. Sports-loving George, often spotted at England and Aston Villa footy games with dad William, is also back for the first time in two years. The family were all smiles as they arrived together ahead of the final and were introduced to a special greeting party near the players' lounge. Kate wore a sleek blue dress with a necklace while William donned a smart double-breasted navy suit, complete with matching tie and pocket square. Prince George was also kitted out in a smart suit and tie for the grand occasion. The family first talked with men's doubles winners Julian Cash and Lewis Glasspool, who became the first all-Brit pair to take the top prize in 89 years on Saturday. Cash, who banked £680,000 with Glasspool for his historic win, was congratulated by both royals.
