The small print then revealed the closing date for applications, which in turn uncovered the filming start date for the 2026 series.
"Applicants must be aged 18+. The team will get back to you if they would like to proceed with your application.
"Closing date for applications is 28th Feb '26," the form stated.

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: 'I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.'
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: 'I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
"While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
'The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, 'Wouldn't it be funny if I signed up?'
'A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.'
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna's vegan lifestyle, the show's first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: "We're not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship."
This comes just months before the 2025 series is due to hit screens.
Though no official start date for the 2025 season has been revealed, MAFS UK will likely hit our streets in the coming months.
It is estimated that the hit series will make a comeback in the middle of September.
This is not official, but instead judging by how the 2024 series began on September 16, 2024.

Inside Britain's ‘plane graveyard' filled with 1,400 jets that's used for Hollywood films, Doctor Who & SAS training

AN EERIE plane graveyard in the UK houses more than 1,400 jets that have been used in Hollywood films, Doctor Who and SAS training. The private airfield in Gloucestershire is where jumbo jets from around the world are ditched. 4 4 4 Mark Gregory's Air Salvage International (ASI) has been chopping, disassembling and recycling planes at the airfield, which sits just two miles from Kemble, for 30 years. In the early 90s, Mark bought his first plane with his redundancy money and spent six months breaking it down into sellable parts. More than 1,400 aircraft later his business is thriving, employing dozens of people to handle growing demand from an expanding aviation industry. Many plane owners send their ageing aircraft to Mark as a commercial jet's MOT costs a whopping £1 million. Mark can sometimes salvage as much as £12 million from them in reusable parts or recyclable materials. But the business doesn't stop there. ASI provides dramatic training scenarios for organisations such as the SAS to help them practice plane-related emergencies. In one mock situation, Mark and his team crushed a van with a plane fuselage as special forces dealt with hijackers and "injured" passengers on board. The jets have also starred on the big screen. An array of films have been shot at ASI including The Fast and the Furious 6, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, Mission Impossible and Batman. You may also recognise it from small-screen appearances such as The One Show, Casualty and Doctor Who. So the next time you spot a dramatic plane disaster or runway scene on the tele, you may spot the Gloucestershire countryside in the background. Many of the firms who send their jets to ASI know what they want back with demand lists that can stretch to 2,000 parts from a single plane. Other aircraft meet a different fate - one big chunk of fuselage was even used for The Swarm rollercoaster at Thorpe Park. And aviation buffs use pieces to decorate their homes. Through ASI's sister site, you can purchase a pilot's seat for £6,000 or small sections of fuselage with a window up for grabs for £150. Cash-stuffed wallets have been found in seat pockets too but most of these find their way back to the owners. On another occasion 15 years ago a large stash of cocaine was found behind some panelling in the rear toilets. "Needless to say, we informed the authorities, police and boarder and they removed," Mark explained. "After the investigation, it was found that the value was fairly high and it would look like the contraband was being smuggled into Europe by a person who must of hidden this rather than getting caught taking it through customs." Mark's team are also sometimes called to aviation crash sites. Their expertise in breaking aircraft down makes it useful when it comes to identifying remains and helping determine what went wrong. The team were part of the investigation into the Afriqiyah Airways crash in Tripoli, Libya, in 2010, which killed 104 people. But while flogging off bits of jumbo jet can sometimes fetch millions, Mark can't bear to part with certain flying machines that come his way. This includes a VIP-fitted Boeing 727 that was once part of Saddam Hussein's fleet after he instructed Iraqi Airways to steal all of Kuwait Airways' planes during its 1990 invasion of the country. It was kitted out with plush velour seats with extendable footrests and cutting-edge JVC TVs built into mahogany walls. Before the Iraqi forces took over the Kuwaiti fleet, the Kuwaiti family used the plane to jet-set around the globe. The Emir would even sit on a specially constructed throne, using radio equipment to issue commands to his staff from 30,000 feet.# Mark's plane graveyard isn't the only in the UK either. The Sun reported in May how an explorer had revealed the remnants of an abandoned ex-military plane field - including a rotting 1951 Hawker Hunter jet. Left behind were iconic British fighter jets that would've been used in wars dating back to as far as 1951. 4

Bargain Hunt expert leaves pensioner sobbing as photographs that tell heartbreaking story sell for more than 100 times their value

A Bargain Hunt expert left a guest sobbing when photographs that told a heartbreaking story sold for more than 100 times their value. Irita Marriott, who often appears on the BBC show, also hosts The Derbyshire Auction House on Discovery+. The programme sees Irita help members of the public find hidden treasures in their homes and make some cash in the auction house. One instalment saw Irita meet Helen and Ben, a mother and son who were trying to raise funds to pay for Helen's husband's dementia care. During the episode, Helen showed the expert a collection of photos which included signed, original copies from famous photographers. The images dated back to 1975 and featured pieces by Sirkka-Liisa Konttinen and Graham Smith. Helen's husband, Alan, came about the impressive photographs when working for a regional arts association. Since then, they had been hung in the hallway of their family home. The photos were sold separately and one was estimated to be worth between £80 and £120. However, Helen and Ben were left shocked and broke down in tears when it went for £12,000. Ben reportedly said: 'I was absolutely gobsmacked at the values people were willing to bid for what we thought were just nice pictures... that we saw on the wall every day. Absolutely brilliant.' Sadly, Helen's husband passed away before the episode aired and the money was used to cover the cost of his funeral instead. It comes after an Antiques Roadshow guest was brought to tears after learning the whopping value of a glass box she bought online for just £32. The treasured item left expert Joanna Hardy shocked after she inspected it during a repeat episode filmed at Edinburgh 's Scottish Gallery of Modern Art. The Scottish guest and the valuer were both shocked by the intricate and detailed box, with Joanna commenting: 'The skill of a goldsmith and the skill of an enameller is the same when they are making jewellery.' She then asked the guest for the story behind the intriguing piece and the woman explained she had stumbled up on it at an online auction in England and was so taken with the crystal that she snapped it up immediately. She went on to confess that she loved to browse online auctions, before noting that the box is no longer in perfect condition, but was still beautiful. She said: 'I think they described it as being glass, a glass box, and I knew it had something unusual about it, with the designs on it and things like that. 'I couldn't really see much of the silver, I had a sneaky feeling it might be that, so we actually polished it all to reveal the beautiful enamel on the surface and the lovely colours'. The guest then revealed she had originally bought the piece for just £32 and expert Joanna was left gobsmacked. Joanna then concluded that the impressive item had been made between 1860 and 1870 and was made by an expert enameller. She told the excited guest: 'So this is dating this from about 1860 to 1870, but there was one person that was really the head of this, he was the leading enamelist in Vienna at the time and he did the neo-renaissance work.' And it was then that the BBC expert revealed what the £32-crystal pot was really woth, revealing it could fetch up to £6,000. She said: 'If that was in the right auction I think you are going to be looking at between £4,000 and £6,000.'

Love Island ignites fakery row as its revealed new couple 'knew each other before show and even hooked up' - but have never mentioned it on camera

One of the Love Island couples knew each other before appearing on the ITV2 dating show - and even hooked up together, according to reports. Tuesday's episode of the ITV2 show saw a shock recoupling ceremony, which saw a number of the Islanders swap partners. Helena picked Harry, Meg coupled up with Dejon, Shakira decided to choose Conor, Yasmin picked Jamie and Billykiss went for Boris. Toni shocked everyone by choosing ex Harrison, which then meant that her ex Cach had to couple up with Emma and Harrison's girl Lauren ended up with Ty. And according to The Sun, Ty and Lauren already know each other after taking part in the unfilmed rehearsal week earlier this year - which then meant that they were invited back to take part in Casa Amor. A source told the publication: 'Ty and Lauren are acting like they've only just met but that's far from the case. 'They hooked up during the dry run, which is where a fake cast moves into the villa to test out everything from camera angles, to kitchen appliances and run-through challenges. 'And then they even saw each other on the outside before ITV invited them back to be part of Casa Amor. 'Now they're both in the main villa pretending like none of this ever happened but it's all entirely fake and ITV know about it. 'Viewers deserve to know it's all a huge sham.' The pair were both introduced into the series earlier this month after trying to turn some heads in the sister villa. Lauren grew close with Harrison, while Ty built a connection with Shakira - who has had her fair share of drama in the villa. Love Island fans have branded Harrison 'disgusting' after he crawled back to Toni after having sex with Lauren during Tuesday night's episode and admitted it wasn't the first time. As the couple's settled down to sleep, one pair had other ideas as they were seen getting frisky under the covers. And it wasn't long until they took things to the next level as Harrison was seen whispering across the beds as he asked Harry whether he had a condom. After Harry passed the wrapper to his friend, Lauren was seen climbing on top of Harrison before the camera panned away to show their islanders shocked faces. And the next day as Lauren chatted with Helena and Meg, she confessed it wasn't the first time the couple had slept together as she admitted they had gone all the way the other night too. Yet despite the intimacy, Harrison was quick to change his mind on who he had a greater connection with as he went crawling back to Toni after news of a shock recoupling. Shockingly Toni once again chose to give things another go with her former flame, despite insisting she was 'done' earlier in the episode Speaking to Harry he confessed: 'I want Toni' before he met with her on the terrace to beg her to give him another chance. And shockingly Toni once again chose to give things another go with her former flame, despite insisting she was 'done' earlier in the episode. Yet it seems Toni may not know the full story, with fans speculating she doesn't know he and Lauren appeared to have had sex. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans didn't hold back with their comments as they penned: 'Harrison is disgusting you're having sex with Lauren knowing you don't even like her and Lauren is just a whole mess both of you go home I'm sick of it'. 'And she still doesn't know he's sh****d Lauren twice this is so dirty someone intervene'; 'I beg Lauren stands up and mentions they sh****d twice Harrison ain't even told Toni yet loool'; 'this is embarrassing for Toni'; 'nah Toni, girl you've just lost the bag'; 'Harrison you CANNOT be crawling back to Toni now after having sex with Lauren and not being honest with her about it'; 'Harrison having sex with Lauren then running back to Toni ?! I know Lauren shouldn't have but this is all on Harrison'; Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans didn't hold back with their comments as they penned: 'Harrison is disgusting you're having sex with Lauren knowing you don't even like her and Lauren is just a whole mess both of you go home I'm sick of it' 'had sex with lauren TWICE mind you, now he wants toni back'; 'Harrison wants Toni but he's having sex with Lauren. Toni and Harrison are such weirdos'; 'Harrison asking for a condom and proceeding to have sex in a room full of people ??? Disgusting'; 'How do they feel so comfortable having sex with people in the room?!'; 'Having sex with other people in the room is one thing, but on NATIONAL TV??'; 'Where is Toni sleeping? Cos if Harrison & Lauren are having sex in the same room, the respect is below hell'; 'harrison and lauren are CRAZY bc how are you having sex in a room full of people AND asking for a condom'. Harrison and Toni officially recoupled at the end of the episode, while Lauren was left in tears after she was forced to recouple with Ty. Toni and Harrison have had a rollercoaster journey since Harrison brought back the bombshell to the main villa after Casa Amor. And while Harrison appeared smitten in Casa Amor, he has attempted to reignite his triangle in the competition by flirting with Toni in a scandalous move on the terrace earlier this week as the pair continued to flirt with each other. However on Monday, despite being in tears over Harrison's sneaky antics in the villa, Lauren appeared to forgive and forget when they retired to bed as the cameras showed the two getting very close under the covers. In a nighttime clip aired by the producers, the sheets could be seen moving over the top of the two islanders - suggesting they were taking their connection to the next level. The next day, Harrison seemed to have confirmed their antics as he confessed to Harry that 'the whistle was blown' and he 'scored a three pointer' - a football reference which fans took to mean they got intimate throughout the night.
