MACC continues questioning Tan Sri over sukuk fund misuse
A white Toyota Vios carrying MACC officers was seen entering the individual's residence at 8.45am.
One of the property entrances was sealed by auxiliary police from a private company, with cones and barriers placed at the gate.
Media personnel were prevented from approaching the area.
On Tuesday (June 11), the Tan Sri's statement was recorded over six hours, from 9am to 3.07pm.
MACC chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki previously said the highway concessionaire is a key witness in the investigation.
Earlier reports stated that 45 individuals who had given statements were recalled to provide further information.
On June 3, the MACC disclosed it had seized assets worth around RM143mil in the probe, which centres on the alleged misappropriation of sukuk funds for a Klang Valley highway project.
Investigators are also tracing luxury vehicles and properties linked to the Tan Sri, including assets in London and Switzerland.

In his judgment, he said the court took into account a police report lodged by the victim, who was the first prosecution witness (SP1), stating that the presence of three men at his house was related to an investigation into alleged money laundering offences. "However, the court found that this did not amount to wrongful restraint, as the actions were carried out in the capacity of MACC officers," he said. Judge Izralizam said that based on the victim's testimony, he did not feel afraid of the three accused during the incident, as he claimed he had not committed any offence. "There is no evidence that the victim was threatened with a firearm by the three men, even though he alleged that one of them was carrying a firearm in his backpack,' said the judge, adding that the existence of the alleged firearm was not proven during the trial. The offence was said to have been committed at a condominium on Jalan Ampang at about noon on Dec 10, 2021. The charge, framed under Section 395 of the Penal Code, carries a maximum sentence of 20 years' imprisonment and whipping upon conviction. Kuala Lumpur: The sessions court here freed two Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officers and a former officer on charges of robbing a Chinese businessman four years ago. Judge Izralizam Sanusi held that the prosecution failed to prove the charges against officers Haffiz Radzi and Fahmee Nor as well as former officer Azwan Asli. The three were accused of committing a gang robbery on Kun Gao on Dec 10, 2021 of RM952,690 and 1,225 yuan in cash, as well as a luggage bag and a Louis Vuitton bag at the businessman's home in Jalan Ampang. The court said that the trio did not intimidate the victim as they were there to investigate the Chinese national for money laundering. 'The victim told the court he was not afraid (of the three men) as he had not committed any wrongdoing. 'There was also no evidence that the victim was threatened with any guns by the three men, although he claimed that one of them carried a gun in his backpack,' Izralizam said, adding that the existence of the alleged gun was not proven. Deputy public prosecutor Nor Aisyah Zanyuin appeared for the prosecution while lawyer Dzulkifli Ahmad represented the three men. Lawyer Phyllia Lim held a watching brief for the Chinese man.
