, Omniscient Reader is officially set to release in South Korean cinemas on July 23, 2025. Although a release date for India has not yet been confirmed, Lee Min Ho's massive fan base in the country makes a theatrical release there highly likely.
A Star-Studded Lineup and a Beloved Webtoon
The film also features an ensemble of popular stars including Chae Soo Bin (When the Phone Rings), Shin Seung Ho (Alchemy of Souls), Nana (Mask Girl), Jisoo (Snowdrop, BLACKPINK), and Kwon Eun Seong (Pachinko), alongside Ahn Hyo Seop.
Omniscient Reader is based on the widely popular webtoon of the same name by Sing Shong. The story follows Kim Dokja (played by Ahn Hyo Seop), a seemingly ordinary office worker whose life takes an extraordinary turn when the plot of his favorite web novel, Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World, begins to unfold in reality. To his shock, Dokja finds himself face to face with Yoo Joonghyuk (Lee Min Ho), the fictional protagonist of the story.

A Clash of Worlds and a Race Against Time

Each character is introduced with their signature weapons and gear, promising high-octane action and intense survival sequences.
In one of the trailer's standout moments, Dokja declares, 'We just have to clear up to the 99th scenario. With my companions, I will rewrite the ending of this story.'
