A popular college football analyst has released his top 10 quarterbacks of the Big Ten list, and the Spartans' Aidan Chiles didn't make the cut.
Brandon Walker of Barstool Sports is one of the latest to power rank the signal callers of the 18 Big Ten schools, and he doesn't have Chiles in his top 10 list. In Walker's top 10 list, he elected to include the likes of Michigan's Bryce Underwood, Washington's Demond Williams and USC's Jordan Maiava over Chiles.
Included below is a post from Walker with his top 10 preseason list for Big Ten quarterbacks:
Walker's list has been comparable to many others I've came across this offseason, with Chiles in particular typically being listed outside the top 10. However, our own Cory Linsner recently released his own Big Ten quarterback rankings that had Chiles higher than many others on the national scale.

Jay Glazer gives Broncos' weight room a glowing review

NFL insider Jay Glazer is no stranger to strength and conditioning, having served as a trainer in mixed martial arts for professional football players and athletes over the years. So it should also be no surprise that he enjoys weight rooms and strength programs. Glazer recently visited the Denver Broncos' facilities and marveled at the club's weight room. Glazer loved it so much that he not only broadcast it to his X (formerly Twitter) account but also rated it the best weight room in the entire NFL. The weight room has become an essential part of the success of NFL athletes, pro athletes, and athletes worldwide. For the Broncos, it's clear that investing in their weight room is a big part of their success, and under Sean Payton, they will need it now more than ever as they look to build off their 10-7 season and make a deeper playoff run. Texas A&M lands commitment from the Lone Star Conference All-Defensive shortstop

After a rough 2025 MLB Draft, the Texas A&M staff had to return to the transfer portal to address depth needs in the infield. Coach Earley found a diamond in the rough within the Texas A&M University System. On Wednesday night, it was announced that West Texas A&M shortstop Elijah Batista will spend his final collegiate season in Aggieland. Batista played two years at junior college Western Texas College, where he batted .304 with 42 RBIs and 14 stolen bases in his final season before signing with the Buffs. He's an intriguing defensive prospect who earned Lone Star Conference All-Defensive honors in 2024 with a .951 fielding percentage, though that dipped to a concerning .938. With Maddox Latta opting to sign a pro deal, the Aggies needed to add talent at shortstop. With the help of Cliff Pennington, the hope is to coach up several players and let the best talent emerge. While Batista's defensive metrics slipped, his bat showed improvement. He posted a 2025 slash line of .293/.394/.494 with 40 RBIs and seven home runs. Batista is making a significant leap to Division I baseball in what many consider the toughest conference in the nation. If the staff can help him return to his 2024 form while bringing him up to speed, the sky's the limit. Oregon's Dan Lanning may have landed a Maxwell Award contender — before he's even taken a snap

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are fresh off a Big Ten championship, but their College Football Playoff appearance didn't leave a lasting impression. Determined to change that, the Ducks hit the transfer portal this offseason — and one name is already standing out. Enter Makhi Hughes, the Tulane transfer who's turning heads before even taking a snap in Eugene. Hughes was recently named to the Maxwell Award preseason watch list, which recognizes college football's top player based on performance, leadership, and sportsmanship. He checks every box — and now has the stage to show what he can do on a national level. Last year, Boise State's Ashton Jeanty took home the Maxwell after a dominant campaign. Hughes might not match Jeanty's numbers, but his impact could be just as meaningful. With Oregon looking to make a deeper playoff run, Hughes is in position to be a difference-maker in one of the country's most dynamic offenses. He's coming off back-to-back 1,300-yard seasons at Tulane. Last fall, he ran for 1,401 yards and found the end zone 17 times — all while carrying the bulk of the offensive load. That's not just productive. That's elite. Now, he joins an Oregon backfield that's become a launching pad for star running backs. In recent years, the Ducks have turned players like Bucky Irving and Jordan James into household names. Hughes has already proven he can produce — now he gets to do it with better weapons around him and a much bigger spotlight. 📲 Follow The Sporting News on WhatsApp If he builds on what he did at Tulane, Hughes won't just boost Oregon's championship chances — he'll be in the thick of the national awards conversation. The Maxwell Award watch list is just the start. With his talent and this opportunity, Hughes has the tools to make noise all season long. Don't be surprised if his name is still in the mix when the Maxwell finalists are announced.
